"It's gonna take long again before I can spend time outside after today... Best if I could visit my favorite cafe!" You happily clapped your hands.

Their coffee sucked but because of that, only few customers tend to visit. So it gives the cafe a silent and comfy vibe.

Their delicacies and meals were still extremely delicious so you continued visiting the shop.

Seeing the cafè by the other side of the road, you smiled.

Not until the wind suddendly blew air to you.

'Y/N! It's the man!' The wind spoke.

Widening your eyes, you immediately halted in your tracks as your vision tried to find where he is.

There was a bit of a crowd so you tried to stay low.

That was when you saw his heteromatich eyes, and suddendly, your heart beats different.

Oh how your eyes twinkled so bright.

His tall figure along with his gorgeous and charming looks.

Sure you've seen him in television, internet and magazines but seeing him right now.. felt exhilarating.

"Shoto..." You mumbled under your breath, starstruck.

A 10-year-old you wandered aimlessly around the garden with a big grin.

You were on your way to play with Shoto again, your 'very very best friend in your whole entire life', or as so you've proclaimed when you were six.

By the cliff in front the ocean was the meeting spot you both agreed on.

It even had your names scribbled on an old and nice tree who offered so, saying it would be an honor to have your names written on his bark.

At that time, both your quirks have developed too.

So your beloved friend, nature, would freely protect your meeting place from any danger or disturbance as a sign of respect and appreciation to you.

"Hmm.. Sho-kun's late today." You mumbled.

'Y/N-chan! The boy is trapped at his house!' A brown pigeon appeared.

Before a lighter brown pigeon chirped too. 'It's because of his father again!'

You frowned, feeling your heart sting thinking of what could've happened to him.

So you headed to his house.

Appearing in front of the Todoroki residence, you saw his older sister, Todoroki Fuyumi, tending the front yard.

"Todoroki Fuyumi-chan!" You beamed, calling her.

Fuyumi turned around and smile when she saw you. "L/N! What brings you here?"

"Sho-kun. Where is he?"

Knowing that it was your nickname for her younger brother, she understood what you meant.

"Ah... Well.. Maybe some other time L/N? My little brother is busy today. I'll tell him you came by though!"

Noticing the tense composure his big sister showed, you simply gave a nod.

"Okay.. I understand. Thank you Snow Princess! Tell Sho-kun he owes me ice cream!"

Fuyumi giggled, knowing you were purposefully teasing her with the same nickname you used for her when you were younger.

"Alright~ Stay safe!"

5 days passed and the animals or the wind would tell you what happened.

And honestly, it was quite overwhelming knowing the burden Todoroki had to endure because of his father's high expectations.

But you couldn't barge in even though you badly wanted to since Endeavor would scold Shoto instead of you.

So you decided to walk around the streets, trying to ease your frustration.

"This sucks! I miss him.." You whined and pouted.

Not when Natsuo, Shoto's older brother came running to you. "L/N-CHAN!"

You turned your head to him and rose a brow. "Huh?"

"He's not here with you? Oh no no no! What if something bad happens to him?!"

You gasped. "Did something happened to Sho-kun?"

After Natsuo told you how Shoto silently fled the house as he was no where to be seen, you immediately said goodbye to his brother to go find Shoto.

After all, you're a master at hide and seek.

Immediately did the wind brushed your hair and cheek. 'Y/N, he's at the nearby meadow.'

Saying your thanks, you sprinted towards the location.

"Ah!"

As you fell towards the ground, you felt a hissing pain on your knee.

Shouldn't have been too fast but you couldn't help it. It was for Shoto.

'Y/N!'
'She's hurt!'
'Can you handle it, Y/N?'

"No no, I-I'm fine!" You sniffed.

You hissed at the pain, slightly tearing up at the wound on your knee.

It would be difficult to run now but you needed to see him.

Limping towards the meadow, you saw him sitting under a tree with his head on his knees that were pressed to his chest.

You frowned, instantly forgetting about your wound.

Walking silently, you sat down beside him. "Sho-kun?"

Startled, he shot his head up to see you.

His eyes were filled with tears and his cheeks were wet while his lips were chapped.

Your heart ached before you immediately hugged him. "Sho-kun! Don't worry me like that!"

"L-L/N.." He blushed, hugging you back.

"How are you? I've really missed you, you know!" You whined.

Shoto blushed even more before shyly mumbling, "I-I missed you a lot too.. Like really much."

You smiled and let go from the hug but held his hand. "You should've went to my house.. Mom rarely stays there and you know my dad's working hours."

"I didn't want to bother you is all.." He looked away.

But as soon as he did, only then did he notice the wound on your knee that made his eyes widen.

"You're not a bother to me at all Sho! If anything-"

"L/N! What happened to your knee?! Did that woman hurt you?!" He leaned onto you, almost making your foreheads touch.

You shook your head. "No no! I tripped on my way here."

Shoto's face still looked sad but guilt added to it. "Oh..."

"I wanted to cheer you up as soon as possible so I had to run!" You balled your fists in determination.

Shoto blushed, looking at you with soft eyes. "For me?"

"Of course. Always and anything for you." You showed a bright smile.

Heart racing, he looked away before mumbling, "Y-you're super clumsy. No wonder I have to be with you all the time."

Was his way of saying that he'd never leave your side.

You hummed in agreement. "Yup! I'll stay right here beside you if that would put a smile on your face!"

But you shook your head, fighting back a tear and the urge to hug him right then and there.

So you ran away from the cafe and took another detour back to your house.

The wind grunted, frustrated how you both were so close yet so far.

The wind was almost at 100%.

Either way, the element didn't break the promise entirely.

On the other hand, Shoto felt shivers run down his spine.

As if someone had called his name.

The hero looked around but saw no one of familiarity in his sight.

So he shrugged, subsiding the feeling of disappointment that you didn't visit the cafe.

Yes. He knew you visited the cafe usually so he made sure to have someone stay as look out.

Sighing, it's another day of missing you for him.

Shoto returned to his agency, disappointed.

It has yet again, been another day of not seeing you.

Entering the building, someone instantly called for his attention.

"Todoroki-kun!"

He turned his head to see his two close and beloved friends.

"Iida, Midoriya. What brings you hear?" He asks.

"We've just gained new information about L/N-chan..!" The green-haired whispered-yelled.

Just by the mention of your name, they completely stole his full attention.

Startled, Shoto widen his eyes and raised his tone in excitement. "What is it?"

The twinkle in their friend's eyes made them very glad.

It were moments like these when life would suddendly enlighten on Todoroki's face.

This wasn't the first- but times when one would mention you, the man would give his full attention towards the topic.

The fact that he'd only give a damn about you and only you made them understand that you truly are special.

Moreover that, they know how big of an impact you have been to their friend's life, hence is why they are more than dedicated to help find you.

"Indeed it is! But it's more about her parents." Iida said.

Shoto's breath hitched.

Come to think of it, he haven't seen your mother in a long time too.

"Let's continue this topic at my office."

He also tried to search for your mother and she'd pick up her phone.

But whenever the hero would bring up your name, she'd quickly and nervously divert the topic.

So he assumed that your mother helped hiding you.

Or so he thought.

"What?" He spat, growling while leaning on his office's wall, crossed arms.

Midoriya and Iida pursed their lips, lightly tense of the pressure that Shoto's eerie aura was giving.

The freckled boy gulped. "L/N's mother fled the country. According to the information we gained, a spy overheard her talking badly about L/N."

Shoto slammed his table, making a small crack appear.

Midoriya squeaked in surprise while Iida flinched.

"Fucking slut." He growled darkly.

Such vulgar words came out from Shoto's lips.

"Todoroki-kun!"
"Words!"

Their scolds went mute to the dual-haired hero.

He very well knew about your family background since he has been with you ever since you both were young.

How your mother cheated on a good man like your father before and after he sadly passed away.

The bitch even had the fucking audacity to shamelessly get a boyfriend that wouldn't last for more than two weeks because she'd change frequently.

It frustrated him a lot.

"I've had enough of her. I will make her pay. Mark my words on that." He swore, words tainted with anger.

"Scary.." Midoriya sweatdropped.

"Before that! There's something else extremely important that you should know!" Iida exclaimed.

Shoto rose a brow. "What could be of more importance than the fact that a shameless clown left her daughter by her own?"

"Ah.. Well, if you'd think about it- Why would she leave the country when transferring to another place sounds cheaper?" Midoriya intelligently pointed out.

Raising his head, the mismatched-eyed man looked at them in curiosity and realization.

"Oh.."

"It's a factor that is very much worthy to consider Todoroki." Iida fixed his eyeglasses.

By the seriousness in their voices, Shoto felt slightly nervous.

"Is it really that important?"

They both nodded without hesitation.

"One more thing, you still love L/N-san, don't you?" Iida rests his hand on top of Shoto's shoulder.

"Of course." He answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"But would you stay with her throughout anything? No matter how shocking or difficult it is?"

Shoto furrowed his eyes. "Is that even a question?"

So then Midoriya and Iida nodded to each other.

The blue-haired took in a deep breath.

"Todoroki.. You're a father."
