The hero couldn't help but smile.

He was holding the young boy's right hand while Shoichi held his brother's left.

"I enjoyed our time together too." Shoto truthfully replied.

'These will be new memories to cherish.' He thinks to himself.

Shoichi also gave a foxy smile. "I'm sorry if we bothered your schedule. You're already busy as it is."

One of his workers laughed. "Well he is a rising hero!"

"No doubt about it! Thank you for the figurine too, hehe." The younger twin chuckled.

"Then we should get going Mr. Shoto. Stay safe." Shoichi excused.

"Aww~ That early? Alright then. Thank you Mr. Shoto!"

Both the twins knew it was time to leave as they noticed the location they were at is near their home.

"I see. That's unfortunate.." Shoto mumbles before speaking louder, "Are you sure you both will be safe on your own?"

The two nodded in sync. "Mhm!"

Despite what the twins said, Shoto still sent three spies to stalk them.

Just to be sure. You know hehe.

But to without doubt, the spies didn't went unknown to nature.

While the two continued to walk side by side, holding hands, nature itself offered to help.

"I wonder what's up with these kids." Spy #1 said to the handheld radio from a building in the right.

Spy #2 responded from the left building while following the twins, "They do look like him, don't you think?"

"No shit." Spy #3 replied, low key walking from behind the twins in the streets.

"Do you think he may have a wife? Oh! Maybe they're his kids!" #1 said.

#2 scoffed. "Nah. That couldn't be it- HOLY SHIT-"

The spy was met with bugs crawling all around him.

This caught both the other two spies off guard as they widen their eyes.

"#2!"

"aHHHHH WHAT THE HELL-"

Purposefully, bugs turned off the device to avoid communication.

Hearing the awful reception sound, the other two spies cringed.

"#3, watch out. This may be the cause of a quirk- O M F G . "

The next thing spy #1 knew, birds flocked around them.

Bird poop started falling from the sky out of no where as different kinds of birds violently pecked them.

"WHAT KIND OF GROSS PIECE OF DISGUSTING YUCKY THING--"

And like before, a bird aggressively turned the device off.

Spy #3 groaned as a shiver ran down his spine.

"Oh no.."

Magically, a stampede of ferocious barking dogs appeared, showing off their sharp teeth and vicious eyes.

"ASLQDHAALXJPA WHY DOGS-"

Sure they could have used their quirks, but they are in a secret mission after all.

So if word goes out that Shoto's employees were doing a mess, they were sure to get scolded.

And worse part? After the horrifying experience, a small cloud that heavily rained only on top of the spies followed them around.

At least they have their own personal sad cloud though!

Shoto was taken a back when he saw small nimbus clouds above his workers.

After hearing their reports, he simply nodded and excused them for a day off as they deserved it.

But when he did hear the awful events, it was positive that the user's quirk was related to nature.

And it was also obvious that the user is the guardian of both the twins.

".. A nature quirk.. Just like hers.." Shoto murmured to himself, staring in space.

Both the boys looked like him.

Both the boys gave an impression similar like yours too.

Knock knock.

Todoroki scowled as he properly sat on his chair. "Yes?"

"Your father, former hero Endeavor, would like to speak with you."

And just when he felt happier after spending time with the twins.

Way to ruin the mood.

"Tell him I'm busy." He spat.

"Shoto." A deep voice from the other side of the door was heard. "I heard you went out to the mall earlier. So I assume you are not as busy."

"Ah.." He mumbled. "Fine. Come in."

Opening the door, Endeavor let himself in before closing it.

"What?" The dual-haired man glared at his father.

His father frowned. "Shoto. I told you time and time again, I really am sorry. I was unforgivable in the past and I'm trying to learn from it."

This would frequently happen actually.

Enji Todoroki wasn't a clueless man. And he have for sure noticed his mistakes in the past.

Becoming #1 that time when he replaced the Symbol of Peace was a sudden shock.

Not only to him but to everyone as well.

He knew that keeping up with the high expectations of society would be difficult. And it truly was.

So he started to correct his mistakes starting with his family.

Shoto accepted him as the hero, Endeavor, since he noticed his efforts.

"Well saying sorry isn't going to bring her back, now would it?" The heteromatich-eyed man's voice stained anger.

Although as a father? Not quite.

He understood how his father wanted to reunite back with his family.

But how would Enji help Shoto reunite with you?

After all, as the dual-haired hero didn't know he became a father, the only reason that he had left to why you disappeared was because of Endeavor.

The older man frowned and tried to mind the tone of his voice as he became a bit angry.

So he replied with a firm voice,

"She left without a trace in her own accord. I simply told her to end your relationship with her-"

"AND THAT'S THE POINT!" Shoto stands up, slamming his hands onto his desk.

Endeavor wasnt't fazed but he momentarily felt goosebumps.

Shoto grits his teeth, trying to calm himself down.

"Ever saw the movie, where the girl was sick so she wanted to spend her remaining moments with her lover.."

(A/N: I'm talking about I want to eat your Pancreas and I know they never became lovers in the literal movie but let's just say they were hehe. And if you know other movies with the same concept, that's cool too!)

"Y/N and I watched the movie together. And you know what she said? She said she'd rather break up with the boy so that he won't suffer remembering his girlfriend after she'd die.."

"She's that considerate.. To bravely cut ties with the people she cares about so they don't need to worry about her. So they don't need to suffer, remembering her."

"But in this case she's alive dad, she's out there somewhere dealing with some unknown bullshit by herself! She's that type of person! So if you ever say one more damn time that she left because she didn't love me then you're wrong.. she left because she thinks I'd be better off without her. But look where I am now! I can't go ONE day without getting insane if she's fine or not!"

Endeavor's face dropped.

"I.. I apologize.."

The fact that the man knew how deep Shoto's infatuation towards you even before made him guilty.

His son never talked about anyone the way he talks about you.

Back at the day when he didn't take his responsibility as a father seriously, he knew he had anger issues.

And you were once his hindrance.

Not anymore though. You were the one thing Enji needed to find.

In order to save his son.

He wanted to see him smile again. And he does that mostly to you. Always to you.

"Shoto, unlike before, I support both you and L/N. But it has been 8 years. Don't you think it's gone too-"

"I don't care how complicated this gets. I need her so I'll find." Shoto firmly replied.

Enji widen his eyes at the strong determination he felt from his son.

"I will love her as long as the sun burns in the sky, as long as the moon shines its light into the dark night, until the raging blue oceans becomes calm and run dry. I will love her until the end of time. So there are no limits when it comes to her."

"... I see."

And he has always been true to his words.

A/N:
Like Bakugou, I know that Enji is improving as a father and as a husband in the manga. So the events about the reader's breakup with Shoto happened before Enji wanted to be kinder or when he realized how he should've treated his family.

So basically what I'm trying to say is, I'm not putting Endeavor in a difficult spot bc he's trying his best to be a good dad/husband, Shoto just hates him in this fanfic bc he thinks Endeavor is the reason why you left:DD
