. flashback .
"I can explain..."
Your voice quivered, body trembling as you faced the she-devil also known as your mom.
In her hand was the positive pregnancy test you took just earlier.
You held back your breath. You were prepared for this. You were yet it was still scary.
"Mother."
"Disgrace."
Venom seethed through her teeth. Her blood boiling like adding fuel to fire.
Resenment. Disappointment. You saw them in her face-her sharp eyes which are similar with that of daggers.
"You slut. I wish you were never born."
You were used to this. Yet it still sucked-especially hearing that from your mother.
With a heavy heart, you sealed your lips shut, not wanting to go further with the conversation.
"What is it with teenagers! And this irritating generation of children!" Then she proceeded to talk nothing but bullshit.
"I intend to leave and handle this by my own mother." You spoke lowly in a whisper, afraid to get hit by her.,
She scoffed and rolled your eyes at you whilst you silently walked passed by her to reach your room.
You brought out the already packed and prepared bag. After all, you anticipated this moment.
Even after getting into UA, your mother was displeased with the scores and achievements you got.
You always knew it'd end like this anyway.
You just didn't expect you'd be the one leaving first.
And you also didn't expect it wouldn't be with Shoto, but with a child-children rather, in your stomach.
She groaned, rubbing her forehead. "I wish I should've aborted you."
You clenched your jaw. If there's anything you want to become in this world, it is to be a better mother than the woman who brought you into this world.
You at least wanted to say your thanks to her for giving birth to you-since because of that, you met Shoto.
You walked to the door, not looking back. "I'll be off mother. Thank you for everything, stay well."
She simply scoffed before returning to speak and complain to herself again.
. . .
Sitting on a bench by the park, you cried silently to yourself.
You didn't even thought this through. The burden you carried weighed heavily in your arms and heart.
You shouldn't call Shoto-or any of his relatives about this as well.
Because if you do, their reputation would disperse.
"Calm down, Y/N. It'll be fine. For now, just survive." You talked to yourself, head aching.
"Y/N?" Until someone called your name, catching your attention.
You looked up and saw Katsuki's parents, Masaru and Mitsuki, the parents you never had.
Since you spent most of your childhood with Katsuki, it was bound that you'd be close with his parents too.
Seeing your puffy swollen eyes, worry washed over Mitsuki and Masaru.
"Y/N! What happened?" The brunet man knelt in front of you while his wife sat beside you.
Wiping your tears and sniffing, you managed to smile at them.
"N-no, it's fine! How are you both?"
"We should be asking you that!" Mitsuki hugged you loosely.
Feeling the warmth of affection they gave, you unknowingly closed your eyes for a moment.
It was this very feeling that never failed to comfort you whenever you felt down.
They knew about the tension of your household. It took a while for you to open it up to them but they were patient and understanding.
Even if you don't tell them about a sensitive topic, they'd respect you and stay silent yet still continue to stay by your side, giving comfort and warmth.
Maybe... they can help. Was what you thought to yourself.
"Um... Mitsuki, Masaru-san, I want to talk to you about something." You slowly opened your eyes, calming down.
"Go on." Masaru gently smiled as Mitsuki slowly pulled you away from the hug.
"My classmate..." You hesitated. "Is pregnant..."
Both were taken a back for a moment before quickly hiding it. They knew where this was going.
"I see... Does the father know?" Mitsuki softly asked.
You shook your head. "The father... wants to be a pro hero. And my friend thinks she'd ruin it..."
"How about this girl's parents? Or the father's side-do they know?"
Once again, you shook your head.
They silently nodded before Mitsuki spoke, "See Y/N, there are a few decisions your friend has to consider."
Masaru agreed. "Firstly, it's either she wants to drop out of school and take care of herself along with the child or abort and-"
"No..! I want to keep the child-" You stopped your sentence in realization, placing your hand on your lips.
They looked at you worriedly while you looked away, nervously.
"I-I meant my friend! She s-said abortion is the last thing she'd do and that..."
Suddendly, tears fell from your eyes again.
"Y/N..." Mitsuki immediately hugged you while Masaru had to hold back from tearing up.
Crying once more, you planted your face into your palms as Mitsuki let you lean into her shoulder.
"I-I'm scared... I don't know what to do. I don't what will happen. But I have to do this... or else Shoto won't become a hero!" You cried.
"You've been through so much Y/N..." Masaru turned to look at his wife who wore a heavy look.
So Mistuki cupped your cheeks, making you look at them with red swollen eyes.
"Y/N, if you can't do this by your own, let us help." She gently suggested.
You instantly shook your head, not wanting to share the burden. "No! I don't want to-"
Masaru cut you off. "Y/N, we already see you as our daughter. And I'm sure Katsuki will hate us for not helping you too."
"No... Katsuki will be disgusted..." You looked away in shame.
"What? Oh honey, that brat could go screaming for days why he thinks of you as his precious friend." Mitsuki chuckled, rolling her eyes.
"Um... Can we just leave Katsuki alone in this? He's busy becoming a hero."
Mitsuki pursed her lips but nodded. "Alright then. We'll respect your decision. But I advice you to tell the brat soon, maybe once he becomes a hero. Or he wouldn't stay put at all."
You nodded. "Thank you... so so much. I know I must sound pathetic and shameless, asking for help right now."
"Don't think that way Y/N. We cherish you." Masaru petted your head.
The blonde woman then began to daydream. "Your children will be so adorable! They better be twins."
You smiled and lightly laughed at them in return. "You both are the parents I always wished I had."
Both chuckled before Mitsuki winked at you. "What do you mean? I thought we were your parents all along!"
. end .
Shoto flipped through the pages of an album he stumbled upon.
It was an album you kept with photos of the twins growing up.
Originally, he was supposed to be helping you pack for when you all would move to the new house.
Though he was distracted in awe and curiousity as he continued to flip through the photographs.
That was when he noticed a blonde woman and a brown-haired man with glasses. To which he thought were oddly familiar.
"Flower?" He called out your call name making you turn to look at him.
"Yeah?"
"Who are these? They don't look like your parents..." Shoto gestured towards a picture in the album.
"You're not even helping me pack." You playfully punched his shoulder, chuckling.
"I just wanted to see what the twins looked like before." Shoto puckered his lips.
Your eyes laid on Mitsuki and Masaru who were in the photo.
"Ah, they're Katsuki's parents. They helped me through a lot." You wore a warm smile.
Shoto looked surprised before he showed a frown. "Looks like you really trust the Bakugou's, seeing how close you all are."
"They're like family to me Sho."
He sighed, looking bothered. "You really should've told me before... Besides, how were you able to cover our children's finances?"
"I borrowed money from Katsuki's parents. Though I was able to return it back as soon as I got a job!"
Even though the Bakugou's never wanted you to pay back, you declined their offer and cleared your debts anyway.
"What job?"
"I get paid very well, actually. I work under Katsuki's agency-"
You stopped midway when you felt Shoto burning holes on the side of your face.
"Oi, why are you glaring at me like that." You narrowed your eyes back at him.
Shadow loomed over his face whilst he looked away in envy. "Nothing..." He murmured.
You cupped his cheeks making him turn to look at you cutely.
"You jealous?" You joked.
But to your surprise, he nodded before you bursted into fits of giggles.
He scowled. "I'm serious, I missed out a little bit of their childhood. I want to learn diapers and milk bottles too..."
You continued to laugh. "And how do you think we should solve that?"
The dual-haired man narrowed his eyes at you before his light bulb enlightened.
"Actually, I may have something in mind."
"Oh yeah?"
That was when you were taken a back when you felt his hands reach your back.
His eyes twinkled. "We should make another child."
