Just last night, Shoto's employees successfully retrieved somewhat of a trail.

His employees got a recording of a call.

And one thing they were sure of was that it was between you and Bakugou.

Unfortunately, he only heard the blondie's voice and not yours so he wasn't able to comprehend just exactly what the both of you were talking about.

But he was sure that you were the other person talking to him since Bakugou mentioned your name.

Shoto was recovering fast like the pro hero he is so he was able to visit the explosive-quirked hero's agency the next morning.

Although even with that, he wasn't able to find the man.

The dual-haired hero clenches his fist, angry.

"Fuck." He curses. "Why was he talking to her?" He spat with venom.

And since he's restricted to drive his own car, he had his assistant to drive for him.

Shoto needed to clear up his thoughts and have a peace of mind for a bit.

Normally it probably would've been better if he had spent quality time of tranquility by the old meeting spot you both shared.

Yet the spot is exclusively just for you and him.

Maybe also your children too but who knows.

Meaning that his driver/assistant shouldn't know where it is.

Until his face lit up.

The café you loved. Yes. That would be the perfect place.

Because if you liked visiting that place, then he was positive he'd like it as well.

Instructing his driver the directions, he felt a part of him calm down a little when he saw the small building.

"I'll be entering on my own. Either you wait outside or inside, just leave a clear distance in between us where I wouldn't see you." He bluntly ordered.

"Yes sir."

"And don't come near me unless I tell you to."

Because the last thing he needs is a bother again.

Having the car parked outside the café, Shoto headed inside.

When he stepped in, he exhaled a big sigh as if letting a part of his troubles go away.

Just the atmosphere of the place and the calm music brought joy to the man.

No wonder the café caught your attention.

Ordering his favorite tea, he waited by a vacant spot, just taking in the inner peace before his tea was served not long after.

There weren't even a lot of people and it was simply wonderful.

Sipping the tea, his face softened in bliss.

Now he was wondering if he could brew you tea some time if he could finally find you.

Just the thought of such brought a smile to his face.

Until his heteromatich eyes laid on two young boys with familiar hair style and color.

It was his children- Shoichi and Shoma.

His eyes widen and his face lit up before he fixed up his appearance.

Bottling up his excitement, he oh so ever calmly walked towards the boys.

"What would it be for you two?" The friendly male cashier smiled.

"Two hot chocolates for take out please." The eldest brought out the money.

"With marshmallows and extra milk in mine!" Shoma grinned.

The cashier chuckled. "Of course. Just for you?"

The youngest nodded, knowing that his brother just wanted a normal cup of hot chocolate.

"Shoichi, can we pleaseee buy a cake..." Shoma whispers.

The other twin grunts. And just before he could reject, Shoto appeared.

"Hello. I'll pay for the kids. Add in an extra cake too- Oh wait, what kind?" He paid for them before Shoichi could.

The twins widen their eyes in surprise.

Until Shoma exclaimed, "I like cheesecake please! Shoichi likes those too!"

"Shoma!" The eldest pinched his brother's cheek.

Shoto simply smiled at them before turning at the cashier. "Two pieces of cheesecake for dine in and another whole one for take out."

"Yes sir."

Shoto bent down and ruffled both of the boys. "You can eat the take out when you get home."

But then the hero noticed Shoichi's guilty look so he lightly booped the boy's nose making Shoma giggle.

"Hey! What was that for?!" The flustered boy blushed in embarassment.

"You don't need to feel guilty. Anyway, come sit beside me?"

Almost immediately did Shoma grinned and lunged to hug his father.

"Okay!" He giggles.

Shoto stopped moving for a moment, still trying to take in the fact that his child was hugging him.

Until Shoichi pulled his brother, detaching himself from the hero before bowing apogetically.

"Sorry sir. He forgot you had an injury." He made sure to look at his brother in the eye when he mentioned their father's wound.

Shoto even forgot the pain of his abdomen when Shoma jumped to hug him.

In fact, he was desperate to hug him again actually.

"S-sorry sir!!"

Shoto frowned. "You don't need to. Come on, let's sit down."

As the twins made themselves comfortable in their shared seat, the hero had to keep his excitement to himself.

"How is school?" He asks like the father he is.

Shoma smiles. "Fun! At least we're able to understand the subjects."

"That's nice to hear. What are you both doing here then?"

"We just wanted hot chocolate. Mommy is working as of now too."

Mommy. Oh my what an adorable name. It even sent an arrow from cupid to hit his heart.

An unexpected nickname for you that Shoto didn't even imagine of.

The dual-haired man clears his throat. "You live with a single parent. Correct?"

The eldest narrowed his eyes yet he knew that if they wouldn't answer, it'd bring more suspicion.

"Yes." He simply replied.

But Shoma just had to add another detail, "But usually uncle helps mommy though!"

Shoto rose a brow, curious. "Uncle..?"

Shoichi silently kicked his brother by the knee making the other whine.

The father frowned.

Must he dare to even consider the possibility, but he was guessing it was Bakugou.

"Then I suppose you're close with this uncle too."

Shoichi simply nodded, not wanting to push this conversation further.

Until their cake came making their eyes twinkle.

The hero subsided the negative feeling for now as he wanted to adore his children.

Their chubby cheeks munching the cheesecake one after another.

He chuckled before grabbing a tissue and wiped a crumb off of Shoichi's lips.

The eldest fumed and blushed furiously. "H-HEY!"

Shoma whined, as if throwing a tantrum. "I want Sir Shoto to do that to me as well!"

"Oi! Idiot. Don't speak out his name out loud." Shoichi hit his twin's head.

(A/N: Bakugou Katsuki influenced him to be this way 🤚)

Shoto lightly laughed as he grabbed Shoma's spoon and scooped a spoonful piece of the cheesecake.

"Here." The father raises his hand while holding the spoon.

Shoma's eyes lit up as he quickly ate the cake before saying how yummy it was.

Shoichi can't help but feel his heart soften too.

"Oh, by the way sir! You did amazing when you defeated your recent opponent. The villain was huuugeee!!!" He threw his hands up in the air before trying to shape the gigantic monster.

"Thank you. I'm sure you'll be able to defeat much bigger ones when you grow up."

'And hopefully I'll be there along with your mother to experience it together.' He thought to himself with hope.

"So how is your wound sir? Shouldn't you be resting?" Shoichi asks, worried.

"It's fine. I recover fast so it won't be a problem. I'll be back in the battlefield much sooner."

"Yeah! You're super cool when you beat up those villains!"

And then Shoma began to rant out all the fights Shoto had that was filmed. Even Shoichi corrected some of the details and added a bit more as well.

In summary, the fact that they remembered details of the past touched Shoto.

He felt all mushy and embarassed but as if he'd show that side to his children.

If anything, he was proud he could be able to flex something worthy to them.

"You both know a lot about me and my battles, I see." Shoto amusingly chuckled.

"Haha! Mom wouldn't stop showing them to us. Not to mention she'd squeal and get excited all the time too!" Shoma laughed, purposefully stating that.

Shoichi mentally facepalmed.

The dual-haired man froze before blushing furiously as he couldn't help but get flustered.

After all, even how many years passed- he still has a big crush on you. Even if you both are dating.

He swore his brain was malfunctioning for a moment while his heart continued to pound.

"Wh-what was that again?"

The youngest giggled. "You know you heard it, sir~"

That was when Shoichi clapped both of his hands as it was time to go back home.

"Oi Shoma. We need to go now." He says since they finished their cake.

Shoto felt sad but he was happy since he was able to talk with his children again.

"Sir, we're genuinely happy to be spending time with you. Take care and we hope you'll recover soon." Shoichi says, holding his twin brother's hand.

"Thanks for the additional take out too!" The youngest raises the box of cheesecake.

That was when Shoto had thought of a brilliant idea.

"Oh. Other than that, let me buy you another one actually." He brings out his wallet and headed to the cashier.

The twins curiously tilted their head yet simply followed their father.

"This is a Y/F/C. Bring it to your mom for me as a token of gratitude for raising you both well." He gave the box to them.

(*Y/F/C - Your Favorite Cake)

Shoichi widened his eyes in surprise while Shoma gasped.

"Y-you don't even know our mom."

"Perhaps so... But I do know she's a single parent who fangirls over me, Pro Hero Shoto." Then he cocked a mischievous smirk. "Maybe you can set me and your mother up in a blind date?"
