Summary: The (L/N) family were indebted to Karlheinz Sakamaki. And (M/N) was offered to Karlheinz Sakamaki to appease his family's debt. But Karlheinz had no use of (M/N), though his sons took a liking to (M/N) and weren't willing to share. Now Karlheinz had a solution to the problem, which was playing a game of hide n' seek and whoever found (M/N) could claim him as their prize. If no one found (M/N), then (M/N) was free to go home.

Chapter One

He was a sacrifice, a sacrificial lamb.

As a child, (M/N) met the Sakamaki family, but he hadn't seen them ever since. After all, (M/N) was deterred by the rumors surrounding the Sakamaki family, especially the ones about Karlheinz Sakamaki. Nevertheless, (M/N)'s father continued to do business with Karlheinz Sakamaki, though racking up a debt without means of paying it off. "Are you upset with him, your father?" Karlheinz asked, his golden eyes luminescent, piercing (M/N)'s teary (E/C) ones. "My darling boys feel the same way about me. You see, I wasn't around when they were young. And so, I suppose that they resent me for that."

Without hesitation, (M/N) looked away, (E/C) eyes taking in the countryside scenery as the carriage rode onward. Even so, (M/N) was upset, his life uprooted because a business deal went wrong. Also, (M/N) was now property, just a collateral in illegal business contracts. "Of course, I'm upset. But I'm sure my parents will do everything in their power to bring me home," (M/N) admitted, wiping the tears, rolling down his (S/C) cheeks. "At least, I won't be so alone at your home. Your sons will keep me company, won't they?"

Of course, (M/N) expected that, still circumstances weren't in his favor. However, (M/N) will endure, until his parents can act. So, (M/N) had hope, to keep him going for the remainder of his stay at the Sakamaki mansion. "You and your parents have a good relationship, then. But I'm afraid it'll be a long time before you can return home," Karlheinz acknowledged, lips curling upward, unsettling (M/N) with his smirk. "You won't be stuck with an old man like me. My sons will tend to you, of course. I'll warn you right now that they're demanding, darling brats of mine."

XOXO

He was wary of the Sakamaki brothers.

In the parlor, (M/N) sipped a glass of wine, his host off briefing the occupants of Sakamaki mansion. However, (M/N) heard apparent arguing, but couldn't distinguish the cause of it. Ultimately, (M/N) assumed himself, as an abrupt arrival without warning beforehand is impolite. "I hope I haven't kept you waiting for far too long. My boys and I have a hard time communicating," Karlheinz chuckled, sitting in an armchair, with his sons gathered behind him. "Don't worry, (M/N). They haven't forgotten you. They're very eager to catch up with you. They're just not willing to share you."

Instantly, (M/N) raised an eyebrow, just before looking away. Obviously, (M/N) was taken aback, though wondered what was going on. However, (M/N) was completely clueless, especially because he hadn't ever been good friends with the Sakamaki brothers to warrant such a reaction from them. "I'm sorry, Mr. Sakamaki. But I don't understand. And I think I might be missing something here," (M/N) challenged, suspicion settling in, not liking the stares he was receiving. "It's not my father you're dealing with. And frankly, I don't appreciate being kept in the dark about matters concerning me. By now, I fully expect you to know why."

Suddenly, (M/N) stood up, with his noble upbringing shining through. Though, (M/N) couldn't threaten them, not when this wasn't about vampiric politics. But, (M/N) remained guarded around them, so he could defend himself. "It's quite simple, really. My boys are fond of you, except there is only one of you," Karlheinz claimed, sighing tiredly, shaking his head. "I purpose a game of hide n' seek. My boys seek and you hide. The one who finds you can claim you as their prize. But if you aren't found, then you're free to go home. Since I have no use for you, I don't really care what becomes of you."

XOXO

He played along as asked of him.

Immediately, (M/N) hid inside a bedroom, the Sakamaki brothers counting. Then, (M/N) tried escaping, except the windows wouldn't budge. So, (M/N) looked around, however a phone wasn't in sight. "Are you ready, (M/N)?" Karlheinz snickered, his voice echoing, hauntingly lingering. "My boys certainly are."

Unfortunately, (M/N) saw someone, though they weren't a vampire. Ultimately, (M/N) subdued her, his hand held over her mouth. Afterwards, (M/N) tugged her, to the open balcony. "Silence, human girl!" (M/N) snarled, the rain pelting, giving him an advantage. "If I lose because of you, I won't hesitate to end you."

Hesitantly, (M/N) peered down, (E/C) eyes widening as one of the triplet brothers walked around with a candelabra. Obviously, (M/N) mindfully crouched, but spied through the railings of the balcony. Though, (M/N) couldn't jump, as the courtyard was a risky playing field. "Where are you, (M/N)?" Karlheinz sneered, teasingly taunting (M/N), perhaps mocking (M/N) as well. "You're right, (M/N). You're not your father. You're making this quite a challenge. If you were my son, I would proudly embrace your talents with open arms. It's only a matter of time, when I'll absorb your family into mine as you do come from the second oldest vampiric clan."

A/N: What do you think? Leave me your thoughts.
