A line I despise 

 With comforting lies 

 From heavenly spies 

 From death is derived 

 A line I despise, 

 "She's in a better place" 

 Hallowed angels in virgins white, 

 have stepped through, into the night!

 Heavenly gates have opened wide 

 In the name of all that's right 

 And swimming through pain 

 and children maimed, 

 Catholic beasts, self-confessed 

 And evil saints, ever digressed 

 Have stolen the soul of a woman harmed 

 Who loving life, was by God charmed, 

 Tearing her up, piece by piece 

 Her soul un-threads, like an aging fleece. 

 And as we watch, this greatest loss 

 A man nearby, clutches his cross 

 And stepping betwixt 

 The faithful transfixed 

 He leaning in, whispers to me 

 ...This, my son, is how it's meant, to be. 

 And there I stand, caked in pain 

 Awaiting a lifetime's, corporeal strain 

 Then sighing I say: 

 "Her life's drained away, 

 And without your story, 

 Of heavenly glory, 

 And misty souls, abandoned astray, 

 Drowning just off, of god's white sand bay; 

 I can sit here, and keep her alive 

 And loving the truth, to immortality strive"
