Setsuko had no idea how long she had been down in the basement. Her sense of time had really warped thanks to the fact that there were absolutely no windows letting in any outside light, her only sense of time was when they would be given food by the creep.

Though, he hadn't just been sliding in food. He's given each of them new clothes, he even gave Setsuko a wig which she refused to put on and provided feminine hygiene products. It wasn't an ideal situation to be in, but at least they wouldn't be leaving blood wherever they sat when shark week came- if they were there that long that is which she hoped to anything watching over her that she wasn't.

In the time she had been there, Setsuko had taken out her contacts and taken off her binder, there was no use in hiding now that he had gotten her, plus finally being able to let the girls free made her feel a bit better even after being cooped up in the room with Nakamura and Chidori.

Speaking of which, the two other girls were sitting on the bed, quietly eating the ramen that the creep had provided them.

Setsuko was sitting up against the wall, stirring the ramen with a plastic fork. She's tried a few times to escape, slipping her foot in the crack of the door before it closed, she just ended up with a stubbed toe and no ramen that night, or morning, or whatever time of day it had been for that. Kicking him in the crusty jewels- she should have figured it wouldn't work if she couldn't even get her foot through, and her most recent attempt of kicking, or body slamming the door down. That bruise wasn't going to be fading away any time soon.

He hadn't interacted with her as much, which came off as odd as he knew she was the real Momoko. She understood why he didn't let the other two go- they knew where he was and could compromise his whole... kidnapping thing going on. She was just glad he hadn't evolved to murder. So, for the past however long, the three of them had been quietly trying to formulate a plan. But, with everything, there's been little to no success coming up with a solid plan.

"Maybe, we all jump him, someone pins him down, and I run my heel into his dick." Setsuko said, stabbing the instant ramen that she was holding in her hand.

"I don't think that'll work. There's barely any time for us to get through that door. Plus I think I saw that he had a gun." Chidori said.

"Right... yeah I guess I don't feel like getting shot." She lifted the ramen cup to her lips and tilted it back, wincing as a burning sensation filled her mouth. "Hot, hot hot!" She shouted, then an idea came to her. "Girls, I think I have a plan."

It took five nurses to get Kojiro back in his hospital bed. The police had come earlier that morning to tell him of the situation with Setsuko and for the next half hour he had tried to leave the hospital room, even going as far as starting to rip the IV out of his arm, luckily the nurses stopped him from doing so.

"I can assure you the search is in good hands, Mr. Akemi." One of the officers said. "The private police force from the Ootori family are working alongside the Tokyo police. This man has shown an infatuation with your sister so it's not likely that he will harm her."

"Yeah not likely he could kill her, but what else could he be doing to her?" Kojiro asked, blinking back the tears that were building up in the corners of his eyes. "I can't just lay here while my little sister is out there, being put through who knows what!"

"Everything is being handled by the police. I promise your sister will be in safe hands before you know it." The officer said, placing a reassuring hand on the man's shoulder.

Kojiro looked at him, his eyes red but but with something blazing within them. "She'd better be."

It's been three days. A whole 72 hours since Setsuko was missing. Kyoya splashed some water on his face and looked at himself in the mirror. He didn't think he could ever look this bad. There were dark circles under his eyes, his hair was disheveled and greasy and stuck to the sides of his face. When he slid on his glasses, he could clearly see the smudges on the frames that he had yet to clean off.

He was an absolute mess.

Of course, not sleeping or leaving his room for two days straight could do that to someone.

His phone buzzed and he reached for it, looking at the small screen on the front to see the contact. Tamaki. He felt his heart drop, he kept thinking that Setsuko would miraculously call him, telling him she had beat the stalker up, or set fire to wherever she was and freed herself. He grabbed a towel and started to dry off his face as he looked at the message.

Tamaki:

Kyoya! Come out!

He was here, of course he was.

Kyoya:

Fine.

He slid on his glasses and stepped outside of his bathroom, seeing Tamaki and the rest of the host club standing in his bathroom. All of them looked tired, Tamaki's shirt was inside out, the twin's hadn't even bothered to part their hair on separate sides making it almost impossible to tell them apart, Honey was sitting on Mori's shoulders, stifling a yawn, Mori looked the same as always except for faint dark circles under his eyes. Haruhi also had dark circles under her eyes. It seemed the kidnapping had taken a toll on all of the hosts.

"Wow, you look like shit, Senpai." The twins said.

Kyoya scowled, a dark gloom surrounding him and making the twins slide away and hide behind Mori, "What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy?"

"We brought you this! A home cooked meal made by our darling Haruhi!" Tamaki exclaimed.

"I don't need it." Kyoya said, walking past the group and to his desk, where papers were sprawled out in an organized mess.

"You're not going to find her on an empty stomach, senpai." Haruhi said, placing the bento box on Kyoya's desk. "Besides, what would Itsuki say if she saw you in this state?"

Kyoya looked at the bento an image of Setsuko appearing in his head, "Don't be a dumbass, or I will burn down your house." The ghost of a smile appeared on his lips, and he pinched the bridge of his nose, "Fine. I'll eat. But nothing more."

***

Setsuko lightly tapped the back of her head against the wall. She had already talked through her plan with the other two girls, all they needed was dinner, or lunch, or breakfast to put it to motion.

The waiting was the worst part.

"I hear him." Nakamura said from her spot neat the door, and just as she said Setsuko could hear some footsteps. She glanced over at Chidori who was sitting over on the bed with the pillow in hand and nodded. It was time for their escape.

The door creaked open in the silent room, "Eat up, my beautiful maidens. Especially you, Setsuko~" He slid in the tray of steaming cup of noodles. Before the door shut, Nakamura grabbed one of the cups and threw the contents out the crack of the door, a high pitched scream from the other side of the door signaled the other two to start moving.

Nakamura kicked the door open wide and ran past the screaming man, Chidori and Setsuko followed after her. Setsuko lunged forwards and tackled the man, keeping him down on the ground as Chidori hooked the pillowcase over his head, using a hair tie that she had around her wrist to secure it.

Setsuko was quick in hopping off of him once the case was secure and her and Chidori ran after Nakamura.

They ran through a staircase leading upstairs and emerged out into what she could only assume was his dining room and kitchen, which was, surprisingly clean for someone like him. Luckily for them, there was a sliding glass door leading out into his back yard right next to the kitchen. Without stopping the three girls ran to the door and slid it open before running out into his back yard and towards the back fence. The cool night air washing over the three of them as they left the house. Just as Setsuko was about to get to the other side of the fence, someone grabbed onto her ankle.

"Setsuko! Get back here! You're supposed to be mine! We're supposed to be together!" The man said, his ratty features being lit up by the moonlight. Shaggy blond hair pulled back into a rat tail, a lanky body, a chin and neck of dark stubble, and wide, crazed eyes to match the crazed smile on his face.

Setsuko gritted her teeth before she turned towards the fence, "You deserve to rot in hell." She said before she kicked the man in the face and pushed herself over the other side of the fence, joining the other two, hearing the deranged screams of the man from the other side of the fence.

"What now?" Chidori asked, looking at the other two girls.

"We fucking run, that's what." Setsuko shouted, darting off with the other two girls.

Behind his house there was what looked to be a stretch of sidewalk and grass. To their left there was a road with cars passing by evert so often. Without a word, the three of them ran towards the road, someone would see them over there.

They were almost at the road she Setsuko was tackled to the ground, hands grabbing her wrists and holding her down. "You're not going anywhere, dear." The man said.

"Akemi!" Chidori shouted, and Setsuko looked up to see the two of them looking back at her with their eyes wide in horror.

"Go!" Setsuko shouted. "It's more important that you two get to the police!"

The two girls glanced at each other and turned, once again running towards the road.

"You know, I'm almost glad those other two are gone." The man said, his face close enough for Setsuko to smell his breath.

"Fuck you." Setsuko uttered.

"I'd love that."

Setsuko gritted her teeth and rammed her head upwards, feeling it come into contact with the man's face. He let out a shout and pulled back slightly, but not completely. Before Setsuko could act, his grip tightened and he leaned forwards, his mouth right next to his ear.

"You're not getting away that easily, sweetheart." He whispered, sending chills down her spine. He pulled back and grabbed her hair, pulling her head back and making her grunt in pain, "Now, are you going to come back with me willingly or am I going to have to do it by force?"

Setsuko gritted her teeth, her scalp aching from him pulling so hard. Wait. He was pulling her hair. Her other arm was free. She pressed her free arm against the ground and used all her might to turn herself around. She felt a few strands of hair her pulled from her head as she turned, but she was successful in her attempt and was laying on her back, directly facing her kidnapper.

**If you are sensitive towards attempted SA/ descriptive violence please skip this portion**

She shifted her body to punch him in the gut, but her fist was met with his own hand, his grip almost crushing her fingers beneath it. "Looks like you did some of the work for me. You know what, I don't think I can wait until we get home, sweetheart." He moved the fist he was holding in his hand above Setsuko's head, bringing her other arm up and holding the two in place by her wrists.

"The hell do you mean by-" Setsuko let out a gasp as a cold hand slithered to her waist and slipped under her hoodie, slowly trailing up towards her chest. Upon realizing what was happening, Setsuko let out a scream and started kicking, her legs were free, and she was going to make that his problem.

His mouth covered hers to muffle her screams, but he was unable to restrain her legs, and just as his hand found its destination, her knee found hers, it wasn't as soft as she expected but considering the situation it made sense. He suddenly pulled back and let out a shout of pain as both his hands darted to his crotch.

Taking this chance, Setsuko pulled herself away and got onto her feet. She took a step back as he got onto his knees and looked up at her, a chilling expression on his face. He was grinning, but at the same time tears were falling down his cheeks. "Please, Setsuko, darling, sweetie, princess, come back to me. We both know who you belong to. You're not stupid, right?"

Setsuko didn't grace him with a verbal response, all she did was reel her leg back and kick him in the gut, forcing him to the ground again. Before he could get up, she raised her leg and stomped down on his head, one, two, three times. She could see some blood dripping down from where her foot had made contact, staining the grass under his head. By the time she stopped and stepped away, the only sign of life from him was the faint rise and fall with each of his breaths. It's what he deserved, no, he deserved much worse.

**The worst of it is over. It is safe to read :)**

Setsuko felt sick looking down at the man, and every muscle in her body screamed for her to get away, and she wasn't about to ignore all the signals she was receiving. She took a few steps back before she turned and ran towards the road, leaving the man lying alone in the grass. The breeze chilled her face, even more so thanks to the tears she hadn't known escaped from her eyes. Her feet pressed hard against the pavement as she ran, she didn't know where the hell she was or where she was going, but anywhere away from him was where she wanted to be. Her lungs were burning, and she had a stitch in her side but if her idol training had taught her anything it was endurance, and so, she continued running, putting one foot in front of the other. Further ahead, she saw flashing red, white, and blue lights.

"Akemi!" A voice called up and Setsuko looked ahead of her to see Nakamura stepping out of a cop car and running up to her, placing her hands on Setsuko's shoulders and stopping the girl from ramming straight into her. "Thank the gods you got away!"

"I wasn't about to let him have his way." Setsuko breathed out, trying to keep the shaking from her voice.

"Where is he?" One of the officers asked as she stepped out of the police car and walked up to Setsuko.

"He's... back there. I hurt him pretty badly, so he hopefully won't wake up for a bit." Setsuko said, feeling a twinge of guilt for a second before she forced it down. After what he did, he deserved worse.

The officer nodded and started walking back where Setsuko had come from. The second officer placed his hand on Setsuko's shoulder, making her flinch away before he pulled back. "Come on, let's get you to the station."

She was led over to a second cop car and got in with Nakamura beside her. The ride to the station was quiet, causing Setsuko to retreat into her thoughts, specifically how everyone was probably reacting from her kidnapping. Kuwata was probably blaming himself like the dumbass he is, and her brother, god, she could see him now, trying to find her himself and refusing to rest as nurses were put on watch to make sure he didn't run off by himself. She sighed and shook her head, it was nice having a protective brother, but thought about her more often than her wellbeing than his own.

Thinking of the dumbass blond made Setsuko's mind wonder to the host club. How were they reacting? She had claimed that they'd do anything to rescue a maiden in trouble, but to her knowledge they didn't know she was a maiden. Well, maybe she should just tell them now, it wasn't like she had to hide it anymore or anything.

But did she really want to be treated the way they treated Haruhi? She really didn't see the appeal in their pick-up lines, and if they fawned over her like they do Haruhi she'd loose her temper faster than Honey eats cake. Though a few punches might fix their attitudes if they really did decide to treat her that way. Another thing that came with them finding out would be her position as a host. As annoying as it was, she had started to actually enjoy being part of the club, and if she were kicked out after these last few months...

Suddenly the door opened, and Setsuko was broken out of her thoughts, looking out the open car door and seeing a lit-up police station right outside.

"Let's get you inside." The officer said with a warm smile.

Setsuko hesitated for a second before she nodded and stepped out of the car, both her and Nakamura following behind him into the station. Once inside, the two of them were led into a back room that had a table in the middle and some kid's toys packed back in the corner. Sitting at the table was Chidori, who looked up when the three of them stepped into the room.

"You're okay!" She exclaimed, getting up and walking over to Setsuko and wrapping her arms around her. "I'm so sorry I just ran, I should have stayed and helped you." She said, her body trembling as she held back tears.

Setsuko bit her inner cheek before reaching up and patting Chidori on the back, "I was the one who told you to run, remember? Don't apologize, geez."

"I'm just glad we're all safe." Chidori said as she pulled away.

"So are we." An officer said, walking into the room. "Hello. I'm Officer Miura. Is it okay if I ask you a few questions?"

"If I can get some coffee, I'll answer anything." Setsuko said, the other two girls nodding in agreement.

***

The questions Miura asked weren't anything surprising. Each of them had been separated into three different rooms and questioned separately- most likely so their statements didn't get affected by any of the other girls- not that they needed to fake their statements after what had happened.

Setsuko didn't know what the other two had said, but she told them exactly what had happened, from being kidnapped from her dressing room by the 'janitor', which she now knew had been the stalker in disguise, to waking up in the windowless room, to making the plan and escaping. She had told them about her past with the stalker as well. That he's been following her for a few months at least and has broken into her house and stolen some of her items. After they got her statement, they thanked her and took her to another room, where a medic was waiting to make sure she wasn't suffering from anything life-threatening. After the checkup, the medic cleared her of anything life threatening, but left a card for a therapist, and let the officers take her back to the room with the table, where the two other girls were waiting.

The three of them sat in a tired silence as they each nursed their cups of coffee. It tasted like shit but after what Setsuko had been through it was the best fucking coffee she ever had.

"Girls, there are some people here for you." An officer said and Setsuko perked up, and her gaze moved from blankly gazing into her coffee to the entrance of the station, where a familiar group of people were standing, the Host Club, and Kuwata. They all looked frenzied, tired, and messy. Setsuko never thought she'd ever seen them look anything other than pristine. Well, other than Kuwata, she's seen him look even worse on some occasions. Along with them, there were two other couples, Setsuko watched as two women ran over to Nakamura and wrapped their arms around her, and a man and woman rushed to Chidori, doing the same.

She got up from where she was sitting and walked out of the room to stand in front of them group, all of them looking at her and her looking at all of them.

She cracked a grin as she looked at them, "God, you all look like shit."

"Akemi, please." Kuwata said, giving her a tired look.

"You're no better." Hikaru scoffed.

"Hikaru! Don't be rude!" Tamaki exclaimed.

Setsuko chuckled, "I will steal your kneecaps, Hiakru. But before that I need to go to bed, in an actual bed."

"We've got all we need from you. If there's anything more, we'll call you." Miura said, "Go home, you deserve a good rest."

The three girls glanced at each other and nodded, yeah, it was time to go home.

In the limo, Setsuko sat between Kyoya and Mori, Tamaki was on the other side

***

"You can't go out and fight any more boys, now, you hear me! I'll let the beach slide because I'm just that generous-"

"Senpai, will you shut up?" Hikaru asked though a yawn. "She's not even listening to you."

"What, of course she is-" He cut off and looked towards Setsuko, his eyes widening at what he was seeing.

Setsuko had fallen asleep and was leaning against Kyoya's shoulder. The latter had also fallen asleep, his head was tilted towards hers, his glasses slightly askew on his face.

"They look cute together." Honey said, Mori nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, they kinda do." Haruhi agreed.

Tamaki was still for a second before he let out a sigh and crossed his arms, and just like that the limo fell into a soft silence.
