Chapter 3: Destiny.
{Palan}
I watched Xiao Bao prepare cocktails for the customers and was glad to hear the disgruntled thoughts towards me right now. This was probably the first time in my life that I enjoyed being judged.
"Damn Original... how pissing off his smell is. Little Bao smells all over him."
"What were they doing in the back room? That man reeks of horny Alpha."
"They're together? But that's forbidden! Even if you're an Original... What an asshole, using his power to break the law."
"Arrogant bastard. First he said those two were a disgrace to our species, and now... Now all of Bao is in his nasty scent. They clearly weren't just talking in there."
I just sat behind the bar and drank my drink, keeping my eyes on him.
📲DZYND.
A text came on my phone, I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at the screen.
📩< Did you find your baby Bao?"> King
✉️<Yes.> Palan
📩<You're feeling better, right? > King.
✉️<Yes. How do you know, King? > Palan.
📩<Haha...I won't tell you, you'll find out soon enough, brother.> King.
✉️<You're an asshole, P.> Palan.
I texted back and forth with my brother, almost keeping my eyes on Bao. No matter how hard I tried to concentrate to read the thoughts in his little head, I failed. I can hear the voices of everyone in the bar and even outside the bar, but what Bao is thinking, I can't. Is it something wrong with me or with him?
I just sat there and watched him. Every move he made, every gesture, every little thing I saw them all. The way he brushes his hair out of his eyes with one hand with his fingers slightly spread apart, the way he holds the shaker, the way he tastes the cocktail from his hand before serving it to the customer and the sweet smile he gives.
I was curious about several questions, but one of the most important was why when I met him for the first time, I could hardly smell him, and now here he is, standing 2 meters away from me and I can smell his seductive scent.
"It's okay... This Original isn't going to sit here every night. Then I can get this little guy in the back room too, hehe..."
I finished the last sip of Rob Roy and set the glass on the coaster. Bao immediately walked over to me and picked up the glass, removing it from the stand.
- Starting tomorrow... You don't work here anymore, Nong. You're fired," I told him in Thai and the glass from his hand fell to the floor, shattering.
- Xiao Bao, did you hurt yourself? - I immediately asked worriedly and saw his eyes glisten with tears.
I quickly walked around the counter and saw the glass splattered on the floor at Bao's feet. The young man looked up at me and it seemed those shards on the floor pierced my heart as I saw the tears welling up in his big eyes, ready to burst from his lashes at any second.
- The bar is closing. You have five minutes to finish your drinks and leave! - I announced sternly and loudly to the patrons.
Oh... What thoughts in my direction I was now hearing from them, but I didn't care. I only cared about the boy who was about to burst into tears and was looking at the splinters on the floor.
Three minutes later, the bar was empty. I went to lock the front door from the inside and turned around to see Bao still standing in the same spot. I walked over to him and, so that Bao wouldn't melt the glass on his shoes, lifted him up, about to set him down on the bar. Xiao Bao automatically wrapped his arms around my neck in fear of falling as I lifted his body. I placed him on the counter a little farther away from the broken glass, but his hands still remained on my neck. I felt light sobs on my shoulder.
- Po... Why, Master? Did I make a bad Rob Roy? Why? - He sobbed quietly and then I realized that he was upset about work.
- Oh... Xiao Bao... Shh, shh, shh... Don't cry," I pulled him against me, gently stroking his back, which only made his sobs louder.
- I didn't fire you because you weren't doing a good job. It was because I can't go to Taipei every night to look after you. I guess you don't want to spend almost seven hours on an airplane every day for this job," I explained, and his sobs became quieter, probably because he was thinking about what I meant.
It was very difficult for me. I didn't know what he was thinking or what I should say to comfort him. I had never cared about anyone's feelings before. Yes and I could hear their thoughts so I knew what I should talk about. And I couldn't get inside that head. And it was weird and scary and intriguing at the same time.
- Whine... What's seven hours on an airplane? - he asked, sobbing incomprehensibly.
- You can't stay at the hotel anymore. I will compensate you according to the contract. If you have any business left in Taipei you have until 12:30 to finish it. At 1:50 p.m., you fly with me to Bangkok. And that's out of the question," I told him what I thought and felt as I continued to hug him.
"Why do I like hugging him so much?" - I thought, standing between his legs as his head rested on my shoulder and his arms wrapped around my neck.
I could smell his almost dreamy scent, it had a slight sourness to it now, but still just as tantalizingly pleasant. Bao put his hands on my shoulders, moving away from me, but I didn't want to let him go. His eyes were reddened with tears, which he hastily wiped on his sleeve.
- I'm sorry, I don't usually act like this. I don't know what came over me," he said quietly, taking his hands off my shoulders, but I still held his waist.
- Don't apologize, Bao. Consider it an early release today. Are you hungry? Let's go eat and talk," I realized that this stubborn boy hadn't eaten anything while he was working, and I was hungry.
Without waiting for an answer I pressed him against me, pulling him down from the counter and taking a couple of steps away from the glass I put him on the floor. His cheeks turned pink and he nodded, embarrassed. I took his wrist and headed for the doors, the waiters caught us on the way out of the bar.
- Clean up the bar. It won't be open again tonight. I'll let the manager know in the morning to look for a new bartender," I said without looking at the three waiters.
"What? Why a new bartender? What about Bao?"
"Oh, man. And with Bao, we could go off to relax while we worked. Now you can't run off to chat with your girlfriend."
"Why are Xiao Bao's eyes red? Did he hurt him? Why did he fire him? Bao is the best bartender we've ever had!
I didn't turn to them and just led Bao into the restaurant. I could hear the thoughts of the employees who were surprised that I was holding the bartender's hand in a too intimate way. Instead of letting go of his hand, I took his palm in mine and walked to the restaurant with a satisfied smile. I looked over at the boy, he had his head down, apparently to hide his red cheeks. Bao looked so cute at that moment that I smiled involuntarily. And then I caught myself thinking that I hadn't smiled like that in a long time. Probably... the last time was before Grandma died.
We were the only customers at this time, and no wonder - who would go to eat at almost 3 a.m. in a restaurant when it's easier to order room service?
Setting Bao down at the table, I sat across from him. He didn't look up, probably because he was embarrassed. His cheeks and ears were red. He put his hands on the table and rubbed his hands together.
"Oooh...you're so cute when you're so shy." - I thought and waved for the waiter to take my order.
I ordered beef steak with sweet and sour sauce, oyster noodle soup, and pork ribs with garlic and chili peppers.
- I'll have the usual salad, Chen, thank you,'' Bao said softly.
- Chen, bring all the same things you brought me, and a salad," I added quickly, because I realized that I couldn't eat enough salad alone.
Bao looked up at me and only tried to open his mouth as I asked: - Are you allergic to any of the things I ordered?
The boy shook his head.
- Chen, bring what I ordered. And hurry up," I decided to hurry the waiter up so Bao wouldn't say anything else.
"Why did the hotel owner come to eat with the bartender?" - Chen thought and quickly withdrew.
- But..." Bao only tried to open his cute little mouth to resent me when I put my index finger to his lips and he fell silent.
Oh... his lips are so soft and warm. The memory of the kiss in the back room immediately came to mind....
"Damn...keep it together Palan...it's just a finger on his lips..." - I thought as I looked into his beautiful dark eyes.
He jerked his head away from my finger and I tucked my hand under the table, trying to control my excitement before the waiter returned.
- Dinner's on me, Bao. My treat. Consider it a farewell dinner at this place," I replied, trying to figure out what he was thinking.
- I haven't said I agree to go with you yet, Mr. Palan," he said, looking straight into my eyes.
- What can I do to make you agree Xiao Bao? - I couldn't read his mind, but I could ask him.
- I..." he hesitated.
- I'll go with you, but on one condition," he said seriously, and it interested me.
No one had ever spoken to me like that before. As if I wasn't the Original Alpha, but an ordinary human equal to him.
"That's interesting... what can he come up with that? Come on kid, surprise me," I thought and smiled when I saw his serious expression.
- Tell me," I smiled and leaned back in my chair and looked him in the eyes.
- You have a lot of hotels in Taipei, right? - He asked and I nodded.
- I want... I want you to give my uncle a job. With the money from my severance pay, you'll buy him a condo near your hotel. You can give him any job you want," he said it like he really cared about the man.
And then I remembered my grandmother's fairy tale: {The prince couldn't leave the boy and took him to live in his castle. He was afraid someone might hurt him. The prince liked the smell of this person so much that he wanted to smell it every day. The boy agreed to go with the Prince, but on the condition that the Prince would help his friend}.
I froze...it was...like deja vu.
- Your order, Mr. Palan," Chen snapped me out of my thoughts as he brought the food.
"How sexy Mr. Palan is...I wish I was in that brat's shoes right now." - Chen arranged the plates on the table, alternately glancing at me and Bao.
I didn't like that he called Bao a brat, so I decided to put him in his place.
- If you move in with me, I'll do it," I said, and the plate of salad fell from Chen's hands onto the table in front of Bao.
The height was small, but the sound was loud and Bao flinched.
- Why are you being so clumsy? - I turned to Chen showing him my displeasure.
- 'I'm sorry, master,' he said quietly.
"I didn't mishear? Mr. Palan said that Bao is moving in with him? But... he's a human! What the fuck? What is it about this Bao that everyone likes him so much? Mr. Chan let him live in a hotel and eat for free, and now Mr. Palan is asking him to live with him?" - But in his mind, Chen's outrage was almost screaming.
Chan quickly left after sensing my displeasure. I heard him already discussing it with the other waiters, but I didn't care.
- Mr. Chan told me that you're an orphan from an orphanage. So where did Uncle come from? - I was really curious because I couldn't hear his thoughts.
- Uncle Liwei helped me when I... when I didn't get into university and had nowhere to go, he looked after me and helped me find a job. Uncle was kicked out of the house by his son when the factory he worked in went bankrupt. I want to thank him for his kindness and support," he told me, and I could see in his eyes that he wasn't lying.
- Okay. I want to meet and talk to him," I replied and the boy smiled and started eating.
I watched how much pleasure Bao ate and it made me feel warm. I ate too, and it seemed tastier than usual. After I finished eating, I walked Xiao Bao to his room and we agreed to meet in the morning at 10 o'clock to go to his uncle Liwei's place together.
I went up to my room, took a shower and lay in bed, wondering what I was doing... I pulled out my phone and called my brother.
📞- Hey Nong. It's 4am there, why are you awake? - King asked.
- I just got out of the shower. Tell me King, am I crazy? - I asked my brother, to which I heard laughter on my phone.
📞- What did you do? I'm not a psychic, I can't read minds," King guffawed as I pondered what he should say.
- I...offered Bao to go to Bangkok with me..." I said, realizing how absurd my decision might seem to my brother.
📞- Is he an Omega? Or is he a Beta? - King asked, and then I hesitated, not knowing if I should answer that question.
- He's... human, King," I decided not to hide it because he would find out anyway.
📞- WHAT? Wait... WHAT?! A person? A normal human? Wow... - King was surprised and even went silent, stopping his poking.
- What you heard, King. He's ... not exactly ordinary, bro. I... can't hear what he's thinking," I immediately answered him and we both fell silent digesting the information.
📞- Wait... that can't be. Normal people don't have any powers. Now I want to see and touch it even more! - King interrupted the silence when he realized what we were talking about.
King's ability is to see the past and very rarely the future through touch. He can't choose what he sees, which makes him angry sometimes.
📞- Honey, Honey! When will we be able to fly to Bangkok? - King covered the phone with his hand and shouted loudly walking down the stairs.
📞- Don't yell, King. I can hear you just fine. We have a shareholders meeting this week and next week we can fly out for a week by the weekend, why? - I could hear Alice's voice somewhere in the distance.
📞- Did you hear that? We'll fly out in a week. Honey, I'll tell you after I talk to you," King seemed really eager to see Bao.
- You don't think I'm crazy? I want to live with a guy I've seen twice, King! And with a simple man too... Oh... what's wrong with me? - I wasn't just asking my brother, I was asking myself.
📞- Oh... Nong, you're thinking too much. There are some things we can't control. I think you should get some sleep. Come on, go already," King tried to cheer me up.
- Yes, we agreed with Bao to meet at ten in the morning. See you later, P," I said and hung up the phone.
***Morning***
In the morning, I woke up before the right time by half an hour. I took a shower and then it hit me... I realized that I was in such a hurry to go to Taipei yesterday that I had completely forgotten about a change of clothes. Good thing there was a shopping mall across the street from the hotel. I went into the mall and just bought myself a new t-shirt and jeans, immediately changing into it in the fitting room so I wouldn't waste time. When I got back to the hotel, the time was without 5 minutes to 10, and Xiao Bao was already waiting for me in the hotel lobby. He was wearing a simple blue t-shirt and jeans that emphasized his narrow waist. He seemed surprised to see me wearing exactly the same clothes and even the same color.
"This is weird..." - I thought and smiled and walked over to Bao.
We took a cab to Taipei Bridge, Bao asked us to stop in front of the bridge. We got out of the cab and walked down under the bridge. There I saw a middle-aged man. I realized he was homeless, that's why Xiao Bao asked to buy an apartment with his severance pay. The man sat and watched the flow of the river with a smile.
"Every morning, I see the city waking up. People are rushing to work. Some are sleep-deprived, some are tired from work, and some are very excited. Students and school children are hurrying not to be late for classes. The fact that I can see this is good. I wonder... Is Jao taking care of my house or did he just sell it for his selfish wife? Oh... what? Xiao Bao? Why is he here? We just saw each other yesterday. Who's that with him?" - When he thought of Bao, I realized it was Liwei.
- Uncle! Good morning, Uncle!" Bao smiled broadly and waved at him.
He didn't care if the people walking on the waterfront thought badly of him or looked at him with disdain. Bao quickened his step and I followed him leisurely. The man stood up and examined me curiously. When we got closer, I sensed that he was Beta.
- Xiao Bao, don't run! Why are you here? - The man asked, taking Bao's hand.
- Uncle, I have good news! Oh, yes. Uncle Liwei, this is Mr. Palan. Mr. Palan, this is Uncle Liwei I told you about," the boy was as excited as if he had won millions in the lottery as he introduced us to each other.
We nodded to each other, but my gaze never took my eyes off the man's hand holding Bao's. I knew with my head that this man wouldn't do anything bad to him, but the mere thought of Bao smelling like someone else made me upset. Naturally, the pheromones were giving me away. The man shifted his gaze to me and let go of Bao.
"Original? Kid, what have you gotten yourself into? And why is he looking at me like I'm touching his wife?" - Liwei thought and looked back and forth at me and Bao.
- 'Uncle... Mr. Palan is offering you a job and a place to live,' Xiao Bao said excitedly and turned to me, waiting for confirmation.
- Xiao Bao is telling the truth, Mr. Liwei. I am willing to hire you and provide you with a condo close to work. Bao asked me to do it and I figured I could do it,'' I answered honestly, because basically... that's part of the truth.
"What's going on here? Since when does the Original go for a human boy? Or... is this the man Bao was dreaming about?" - the man thought, and I was surprised....
"I... dreamed Bao?" - Why did the knowledge of this make my heart start beating so fast?
- Sir... I'm an accountant by training, but the factory I used to work in went bankrupt. I'd be happy to take any job," Liwei said, as if he felt guilty that I had to hire a homeless man.
- Mr. Liwei... in one of my hotels, the accountant is going on maternity leave in a week and I was thinking of leaving it up to the manager to find a replacement, but now I'm offering you the position. But there's a catch-- this hotel isn't in Taipei. It's in Xinbei. I'll pay for you to move to Xinbei if you agree," I remembered, because the manager of the hotel in Xinbei had called me the day before yesterday.
- But... - the man looked around himself and I realized he was concerned about his appearance and lack of decent clothes.
- 'Uncle, I'll buy you some clothes and necessities for your apartment. While I was working at the hotel, I was saving most of my tips in case I decided to go to university on a fee basis. But... it doesn't matter now, Uncle Liwei. I don't think I'll spend too much money on your clothes. But let this be my gift to you for everything you've done for me. Don't refuse,'' Xiao said it in a way that even an idiot would have realized it was goodbye.
"Why was working? And why does it feel like a goodbye? Why is Mr. Palan being so nice to me, it's not like he even knows me. Something's not right here..." - The thoughts in the man's mind were confused.
- Xiao Bao, why do you sound like you're saying goodbye to me? - Liwei asked and Bao looked at me.
- Well... I'm leaving the city, uncle. I don't know when I'll be able to visit you yet. So I want you to live the life you deserve. And Mr. Palan has graciously agreed to my request," And that's when I realized what a liar Bao is.
"Leaving... With him? Really... Xiao Bao's spiritual partner is a Primordial Alpha? Ahahahahah.... The universe really does have a great sense of humor... Now I can see why Bao was dreaming about this man who was snapping at others and getting angry over little things." - Liwei's thoughts threw me into shock, as if I had been struck by lightning.
"Spiritual partner...? Bao ... my spiritual partner?" - I almost said it out loud, but I stopped myself in time.
- You made the right decision, Xiao Bao. I think it's fate, son. I'd like to call you when I get off work, but you don't have a phone... and neither do I," Liwei said with a smile and looked at the boy.
- Mr. Liwei, I don't think we should waste time and go to the store to get clothes and phones. Bao, you don't need to spend your money, I'll pay for everything for Uncle Liwei myself," I decided that this was a small part of what I could do for this man who had just given me awareness and understanding to all my actions and feelings.
- Xiao Bao, have you packed your things yet? I'm asking because I need to decide whether or not I need to go back to the hotel before my flight? - I asked as we walked up to the road to decide where to call a cab: closer to the mall to the hotel or closer to the airport.
- I... My stuff is barely there. A couple of t-shirts, jeans and pants. The rest is not mine," Bao answered modestly.
Hearing that, I caught a cab and the three of us headed to a shopping center near the airport. The first thing we did was to go to the store and buy clothes for Liwei to change into now. Then went to get cell phones for both of us. Bao and Liwei exchanged numbers and Line-IDs.
I took them to the suit store and myself, while they picked out suits to try on, called the manager of W&W and the hotel in Xinbei. Afterward, I came back to help them pick out business clothes for Liwei.
When we were done shopping, Bao could be said to have shoved a few thousand baht into Liwei's hands, who was struggling to hold back the tears in his eyes. He kept thinking that if his own son had been even half as good as Bao, he wouldn't have become a vagrant.
- I called the W&W Hotel. The room where Bao was staying is now yours until I settle the Xinbei lodging issue. I'll send for you when you're ready to move. In the meantime, you'll stay at the hotel. Take your documents and resume with you, when the hotel manager in Xinbei calls you, I'll leave your phone number with her," I said and caught a cab for Liwei to the hotel, paying for it right away.
I stood beside Bao, who looked at the departing car with a smile.
- Thank you, Kun Palan," he turned to me and said in Thai.
- Come on, we have to fly out in half an hour," I replied in Thai, raising my hand to hail a cab.
Fifteen minutes later we were already at the airport, heading to my plane. We boarded and sat in the seats opposite each other. I watched him, he was such a naive kid. He seemed nervous about the flight.
- You've never been on an airplane before, right? - I asked and Bao nodded.
I took his hand, feeling a small shiver. I lightly stroked his hand with my thumb, trying to calm Bao down. He raised his head and looked at me. When our gazes met, he stopped trembling and his sweet scent began to fill the cabin, arousing me again....
Our scents began to mingle again, making me want this little boy even more, who a moment ago had been trembling like a leaf in the wind, and now the flames of lust were flaring in his dark eyes. I couldn't read his mind and that ignorance fueled my interest in him.
The seat belt sign went out. I heard the sound of the belt being unbuckled and a moment later this sweet boy rested his knees on the armrests of my chair and lowered his seductive ass into my lap. It was such an erotic gesture that I just admired it.
👄Kiss...
{Bao.}
- Xiao Bao, did you hurt yourself? - I heard a question, but I didn't answer, trying to hold back my tears.
I couldn't even move because I was afraid I would burst into tears in front of the bar patrons. I raised my head and looked at the man who had just dismissed me. Mr. Palan was approaching me.
- The bar is closing. You have five minutes to finish your drinks and leave! - he announced sternly and loudly, even though the time was only 2 o'clock.
I don't know how much time passed while I stared into his chocolate eyes, trying my best to hold back the tears. He stepped away from me and I heard the sound of the door closing. The man walked over to me and I felt his strong arms around my waist and the way my body was lifted. I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, afraid I would fall. But the warmth of his body and the inexplicable feeling of safety enveloped me again, and I cried, resting my head on his strong shoulder.
- Po... Why, Master? Did I make a bad Rob Roy? Why? - I sobbed quietly, trying to understand the reasons for my dismissal.
- Oh... Xiao Bao... Shh... Don't cry,'' he cradled me against him, gently stroking my back.
His affectionate and caring movements only made me even more sensitive and I sobbed even harder.
- I didn't fire you because you weren't doing a good job. It's because I can't go to Taipei every night to look after you. I guess you don't want to spend almost seven hours on an airplane every day for this job either," he said.
"Why does he have to fly to Taipei to look after me? Why would he do that?" - my brain was trying to process what was said, but the mush in my head about the layoff made me not think clearly.
- Whine... What 7 hours on an airplane? - I asked incomprehensibly, and my sobs became quieter because of his strong and gentle embrace.
- You can't stay at the hotel anymore. I will compensate you according to the contract. If you have any business left in Taipei you have until 12:30 to finish it. At 1:50, you fly with me to Bangkok. And that's out of the question," his words stunned me and I didn't know what to say because his arms were still around me and my heart seemed to jump out of my chest.
I put my hands on his shoulders, pulling back to wipe the tears from my face on my sleeve. I didn't want him to notice how my heart was beating traitorously fast.
- I'm sorry, I don't usually act like this. I don't know what came over me," I said quietly, taking my hands off his strong shoulders, but he still held my waist.
- Don't apologize, Bao. Consider it an early release today. Are you hungry? Let's go eat and talk at the same time," the man was showing me care that I had never received before, and it was confusing me.
As I pondered my emotions and what to say, my body was back in his strong arms. He picked me up and our bodies were too close again, causing a wave of heat to rush through my body. The man took a couple steps and set me on the floor. It wasn't until I looked down that I realized he had moved me away from the glass. I could feel myself blushing all the way down to my ears and all I could do now was nod, agreeing to eat with him. His warm hand held my wrist, and my gaze never left it.
- Clean up the bar. It won't be open again tonight. I'll tell the manager in the morning to look for a new bartender," he said, and I looked up to see my waiter friends looking at me with a puzzled look.
He led me into the restaurant without even turning to the people he'd just given the order to. Suddenly his hand slid down my arm and our palms made contact, his long fingers gripping my hand tightly, sending a herd of goosebumps through my body. I looked up at him and he was walking with a satisfied smile. My cheeks were burning and I decided to keep my head down so the people around me wouldn't notice my red eyes and cheeks.
I exhaled when I saw that we were the only customers in the restaurant. I didn't want Mr. Palan to be thought badly of when I saw him leading me by the hand into the restaurant. After work, I usually go to the restaurant, order a salad and only then go to bed.
He pulled out a chair for me, and I sat down immediately, while Mr. Palan sat across from me. I could still feel the warmth of his hand on mine, so I didn't look up, but rubbed my hands together, wanting to hold on to that pleasant sensation longer. Mr. Palan placed his order and looked at me, waiting.
- I'll have the usual salad, Chen, thank you," I said quietly because I was afraid that if I spoke louder, my voice would shake.
- Chen, bring all the same things you brought me, well the salad," he immediately decided to change the order.
I looked up, trying to say that it was too much, but Mr. Palan asked: - Are you allergic to anything I ordered?
I shook my head.
- Chen, bring what I ordered. And make it quick," he seemed to be trying to get the waiter out of here as quickly as possible.
- But... - I still decided to explain that I wouldn't eat so much, but his long finger touched my lips and I forgot what I wanted to say....
It was like being struck by lightning and I immediately remembered those hands holding me in the back room, rubbing my hair during a dizzying kiss...
"Damn... that was my first kiss... and it was... magical." - I thought and felt a tingling sensation in my lower abdomen and I knew for sure it was arousal.
I jerked my head away from his finger and he tucked his hand under the table as I sat there trying to contain my rapidly beating heart.
- Dinner's on me, Bao. My treat. Consider it a farewell dinner at this place," he said, as if he didn't know what to talk about.
- I haven't said I agree to go with you yet, Mr. Palan," I pretended to be indignant, raising my head and looking into his chocolate eyes.
- What can I do to make you agree Xiao Bao? - He asked with a cute smile.
- I... - I thought about what I could ask, since my stupid heart was in agreement a second after the proposal.
- I'll go with you, but on one condition," I gathered all my will into a fist and made the most serious expression I could muster in this situation, trying to fight the excitement.
- Tell me," he leaned back in his chair, smiling, his chocolate eyes looking at me as if expecting me to do something crazy.
- You have a lot of hotels in Taipei, right? - I asked, and he nodded immediately.
- I want... I want you to give my uncle a job. With the money from my severance pay, you'll buy him a condo near your hotel. You can give him any job you want," I decided that if I left Taipei, Uncle Liwei would be left alone with no one to help him.
I wanted to thank him for the warmth and support he gave me, for this man was very dear to me. After I said that, Mr. Palan seemed to think about something.
- Your order, Mr. Palan," Chen placed a bowl of soup in front of him, arranging the rest on the table.
- If you move in with me, I'll do it," he said and the plate of salad fell from Chen's hands to the table right in front of me.
It was an unexpected response and it was an unexpected plate falling on the table. I flinched at the sharp sound.
- Why are you being so clumsy? - Mr. Palan asked calmly, but I sensed irritation in his voice.
- I'm sorry, sir,'' Chen said quietly.
Chen quickly left after arranging all the plates on the table.
- Mr. Chan told me that you are an orphan from an orphanage. So where is uncle from? - Mr. Palan asked and I could see genuine curiosity in his gestures and intonation.
- Uncle Levey helped me when I... when I didn't get into university and had nowhere to go, he looked after me and helped me with finding a job. Uncle was kicked out of the house by his son when the factory he worked in went bankrupt. I want to thank him for his kindness and support," I didn't lie because Uncle Leavey's future depended on it.
- Okay. I want to meet and talk to him," he answered, and I smiled happily as I ate, because I was hungry.
It was really delicious, and strangely enough, I was able to fit in everything Mr. Palan had ordered and even the salad. I could feel him looking at me and in those moments my cheeks were burning. After finishing my meal, Mr. Palan walked me to my room and we agreed to meet in the morning at 10 o'clock to go to his Uncle Liwei's place together.
I didn't understand why a man like him was sitting and eating in a restaurant with a boy like me? I'm a simple man with no mother, no father, no home. I'm just a bartender, of which there are dozens in his hotels. So why would he fly here and want to take me with him?
I smiled at him opening the door to the room and he smiled back at me. I closed the door entering the room and exhaled....
"Oh... Why do I want to be around him so badly? Have I fallen in love?" - I thought, sinking to the floor with my back against the front door and resting my head against my knees.
A memory of Ina and his Alpha immediately popped into my head. But it couldn't be that my spirit partner was the Original Alpha, could it? I sat and thought about it for a while, until I felt like my head was going to explode from these thoughts.
"I think it's time to go to bed." - I thought and got up and took a shower before going to bed.
***Morning***
When I woke up this morning, I was even a little upset that I hadn't dreamt about Mr. Palan. I had gotten so used to seeing him in my dreams over the days that I felt like I missed him. After brushing my teeth and taking a shower, I pulled my clothes out of the closet - a blue t-shirt and jeans. Even though I had a great tip every night and could buy myself anything from clothes, I was saving up in hopes of going to university in a year to pay tuition. I kept some money to buy groceries for Uncle Leavey and put the rest in a bank account once a week. I took my passport, bankbook and the rest of my cash from the table and looked at my watch. It was 9:50 and I pocketed everything and went out into the hotel lobby to wait for Mr. Palan. Five minutes later I saw Mr. Palan walking through the hotel doors.....
"This can't be an ordinary coincidence..." - I thought as I saw him wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.
Mr. Palan approached me with a smile that made my knees shake.
We took a cab to Taipei Bridge and I asked to stop in front of the bridge. We got out of the cab and walked down under the bridge. Uncle Liwei, as always, was sitting there looking at the river and the hurrying people.
- Uncle! Good morning, Uncle!" I smiled broadly and waved at him.
I ran up to him with a very happy smile.
- 'Xiao Bao, don't run! Why are you here? - He asked and took my hand.
I told Uncle Liwei that Mr. Palan would give him a job and a place to live, introducing them to each other. They talked a bit about what Uncle used to work and Mr. Palan suggested Uncle move to Xinbei to work there as an accountant. Uncle Liwei looked around himself and I realized that he was self-conscious about the way he looked.
- Uncle, I'll buy you some clothes and necessities for your apartment. While I was working at the hotel, I was saving most of my tips in case I decided to go to university on a tuition basis. But... it doesn't matter now, Uncle Liwei. I don't think I'll spend too much money on your clothes. But let this be my gift to you for everything you've done for me. Don't refuse," I decided to spend my cash on him, even though I didn't want to say goodbye to him like this, but I couldn't resist.
- Xiao Bao, why do you sound like you're saying goodbye to me? - Liwei asked and I looked at Mr. Palan realizing that I really wanted to leave with him.
- Well...I'm leaving town, Uncle. I don't know when I'll be able to visit you yet. So I want you to live the life you deserve. And Mr. Palan has graciously agreed to my request - I told him part of the truth to hide my feelings for this Alpha.
- You made the right decision, Xiao Bao. I think it's fate, son. I wish I could call you when I get off work, but you don't have a phone... and neither do I," Liwei said with a smile and looked at me.
When I heard the word fate, I realized what my uncle was talking about. I think it was too obvious: the Firstborn Alpha is kindly fulfilling a simple man's request. I wondered about it myself - but I had only one answer: he and I were attracted to each other, unable to resist it. When he was around me I felt safe. Not to mention that in his arms I was like an obedient kitten, ready to purr at the top of my lungs for his gentle touch.
When we decided on the route, we went to the mall to buy clothes for my uncle. First we bought him a simple t-shirt and pants, and then we went to pick out work suits.
Mr. Palan helped us with genuine enthusiasm, which couldn't help but make me smile. When we were done, Mr. Palan said that Uncle could stay in my room until he settled his accommodation in Xinbei. We put Uncle in the cab and I watched the departing car with a smile.
- Thank you, Khun Palan," I told him in Thai because I realized that was the language I would be speaking now.
- Come on, we have to leave in half an hour," he replied in Thai, raising his hand to hail a cab.
Fifteen minutes later we were already at the airport, heading to the private jet. We boarded and sat in the seats opposite each other. I had never flown before and was very apprehensive. I was a little shaken up.
- You've never been on an airplane before, right? - He asked me and I nodded.
Suddenly he took my hand, gently running his finger along the back of my palm. I lifted my head and our gazes met. I was drowning in those sweet chocolate eyes, feeling the shivers replaced with goosebumps of excitement.
He kept stroking my hand, keeping his gaze on me, sparks of desire sparkling in his bottomless eyes. I could smell his growing scent, and it excited me more and more with each breath.
The seatbelt sign went out and I unbuckled my seatbelt and quickly sat on Mr. Palan's lap, putting my knees on the armrests of the chair so that only my ass was touching his legs. He just stared at me as if waiting. My gaze was caught by his soft lips and now I was the one who couldn't hold back and kissed him. His arms immediately wrapped around my waist pulling me even closer to him.
Oh... those soft lips that beckoned me... I sucked and nibbled on them as Palan's hands roamed down my back, moving down to my ass. My body reacted to his every move - and arousal came in wave after wave.
"Damn... if this keeps up... I'm going to get hit by this tsunami named Palan." - I thought, but at that moment his hands slid under my ass, lifting me up in his arms.
In surprise, I bit down harder on his lower lip, tasting blood in my mouth.
