Mystery/thriller, doing justice to these themes, this piece of work succeeds to leave you stunned and craving for more.

About the story

I absolutely venerate the plot and how the author victoriously passes to encapsulate the readers deep into the story. In a way that after every chapter the reader's excitement level would augment further by a greater percentage.

Solitary from the exposition itself I was hooked to the story.
I love how she began the story, that just within a few paras, one would get a complete character sketch of Jason and Vera. That was a rigorous thing to do but the author slays it here.

The "murder" sequence of Jason was displayed so well that one could feel the bouquet of emotions going through Vera. The scene was a challenging one but the author manoeuvred it so well, carrying every minute detail flawlessly for them to be envisioned by the readers.

On top, the way she effortlessly succeeds to portray the drive of emotions Vera go through after that horrific incident is definitely testimonial.

My perception

One aspect that solely belongs to this work is how pretentiously new characters were introduced in this work, further making the scenario more gripping for the readers.

And of course, it's staggering ending that left me wide-eyed and kind of vexed too. I mean let's be honest who doesn't want a happy satisfying ending but I guess the author more of wanted to leave the readers with bated breaths.
Well, that didn't fail to contribute to making the story more remarkable either.

Ps. My favourite character in this was the Secret keeper, people who read the story will get, why.

Certainly, I could say that this story merits a lot more uprise.
I would personally encourage you guys to check out her work. Not particularly this book but all of her works are worth reading.
