'My father will have a trial next week.' Adrien said to Marinette the next day. 'They want me, Chat Noir, Ladybug and Volpina to testify.'
'How are you going to testify twice?' Marinette asked. 'I was hoping you and Alya would be able to cover for me when I'm going to transform.' Adrien said. 'But you're going to be in a room filled with people whose job it is to be suspicious, don't you think that's dangerous?'
'It's hard enough for me to testify against my father once, but twice? Nevertheless I was asked to do so and I will.'
'I'll have your back.' Marinette said. 'Thanks.'

A week later Gabriel's trial was held. 'Gabriel Agreste, also known as Hakwmoth, has committed crimes against Paris by causing uproar.' the judge said. 'Any comments on this?'
'No.' Gabriel answered. 'The first witness will testify, Adrien Agreste.'

Adrien cleared his throat while everyone was looking at him. His father in disgust. 'My father, Gabriel Agreste, has neglected me ever since my mother disappeared. I have never known why and what he was doing, I just thought he was busy with business. One day when I was home, an akumatized victim showed up at my home. It was Ladybug.' Adrien started. After he finished his testimony he excused himself and left the room. Quickly he transformed and came back while Ladybug was testifying. Silently Chat Noir joined them. Volpina testified and eventually he did too, trying not to say things he had said as Adrien. Eventually Gabriel spoke. 'Before you're going to judge me, there's something you should know.' he said. 'Chat Noir is my son!' he yelled. Everyone looked at Chat Noir who was trying not to turn red. 'This must be a mistake!' Ladybug yelled. 'He's not!'
'Enough!' the judge yelled. 'This is not relevant.'
'I know the identities of Ladybug and Volpina as well.' Gabriel said. 'This trial is over.' the judge said while hitting the desk with a wooden hammer.

The trial ended and the three superheroes had a meeting on the rooftop. 'If this gets out we'll have a major problem.' Volpina said. 'Have you seen the amount of journalists in the room?'
'I know.' Chat Noir said. 'Maybe we could ask Alya to put on her Ladyblog that Chat Noir is not Adrien Agreste.' Ladybug proposed, pretending like she didn't know about Volpina. 'Good idea.' Volpina said. 'You think that's going to work?' Chat Noir asked. 'I mean, I'm famous, even if people don't believe that I'm Chat Noir, they're going to want to believe it.'
'Well you would be the handsome superhero every girl dreams of.' Ladybug said. Directly after that she turned red. 'Oops shouldn't have said that.' she whispered. 'Don't you think I figured it out already?' Volpina asked with a big smile. 'I know it's you Marinette.'
'I'm sorry for not telling you Alya.' Ladybug said, not hiding the fact that she knew her identity anymore. 'It's fine girl, I finally understand why you didn't tell me.' Volpina said. 'Thank you for understanding.'
'Shall we have a meeting as ourselves tomorrow in the park at 1 PM?' Chat Noir proposed. 'Sure.' Ladybug and Volpina said. They all left and went to their homes.

What they didn't know was that one journalist had been listening the entire time and had recorded it. This journalist knew were he was going the next day.

At 12:45 the next day, Adrien left his house. He found out that Nino had been waiting around the corner. 'Hey there.' Nino said. 'Why are you waiting here?' Adrien asked. 'Oh I don't know, maybe I just thought this was the only way to ever talk to you again.'
'What do you mean?' Adrien said surprised by his friend's attitude. 'You're gone a lot and you don't tell me where you go to, you hang out a lot with Marinette and Alya but shut me out and most of all, you're not talking to me anymore. I miss that man, I'm just wondering why you're doing all this.' Nino said. 'I know it's hard with your dad and all, but I'm here to support you, as your friend.'
The penny fell for Adrien, he had completely neglected Nino. As a neglected child he should've known better. 'I'm so sorry Nino. I didn't mean to.' Adrien said. 'I know you didn't. I do know that you're going to the park with Alya and Marinette today so let me tag along please.'
Adrien, not wanting to reject Nino's proposal, said yes.

They walked to the park together. 'Trixx you're so cute!' Marinette yelled. 'Who's Trixx?' Nino asked when he was close enough. 'Eh...' Marinette said, too surprised to come up with an excuse. 'Marinette and I were just doing a roleplay game.' Alya said. 'Of which fandom?' Nino asked. 'We just created our own characters, Marinette is Tikki and Adrien is Plagg.' Alya said. 'I want a name too.'
'We'll think about it.' Adrien said. When Nino turned his head, Marinette and Alya made gestures like "why?", "what are we going to do?" and "what did you do?". Adrien gestured back that he didn't know, but Nino noticed. 'What are you doing?' he asked. 'Nothing.' Adrien answered. 'Alright then. I think I'm gonna go, cya later.' Nino said. He walked away and Adrien, Marinette and Alya waited until he was out of sight. 'Now we can talk.' Alya said.
