'Marinette!' Alya yelled. 'Ultimate power!' Hawkmoth said happily. 'Father don't do this, please!' Adrien yelled. Hawkmoth looked surprised that Adrien knew, but after all it would only make sense since it was his house and his office. 'Wait you mean he is Gabriel Agreste?' Alya said shocked. 'Yes.' Adrien answered sadly. Alya's eyes widened, she dropped her jaw. 'You're kidding me.'
'So had a nice chat I hope? You will be destroyed.' Hawkmoth said with a grim on his face. 'I'm sorry Adrien, I tried to keep this a secret but... Trixx transform me!' Alya said. She transformed into Volpina (or rena rouge). 'What?!' both Adrien and Hawkmoth said surprised. Volpina took her flute and stood determined in front of Hawkmoth. Volpina had the power of illusions, flying and superstrenght. She came closer to Hawkmoth who used his stick as a weapon. Butterfly and fox crossed their blades. Volpina didn't have the fighting skills Hawkmoth had, but she did have her strenght and she used it. She forced Hawkmoth to go to a corner of the room. 'I demand you give me those miraculouses.' Volpina said. 'Never!' Hawkmoth said when he slipped past Volpina. Adrien was watching everything in disbelief. His father had been the one who caused so much trouble? He lived together with his greatest enemy, his dad. He felt even further apart from him than he already did. He wanted to help Volpina, but without his miraculous he didn't have much to offer her, he'd only be in the way. Marinette, he suddenly thought. He ran to her and kneeled next to her. 'Are you alright?' he asked, but Marinette was unconscious so she couldn't answer. Adrien took her in his arms and went back to his father's office. Volpina could handle it on her own, at least for now. Adrien put Marinette on his bed and went back to Hawkmoth's lair as soon as he could. Volpina had in the meantime gotten Chat Noir's ring back because he dropped it when she did an attack. She had been faster than him and taken it. 'Adrien!' she yelled when he entered the room. 'Take this!'
She threw the ring to him. Adrien caught it and immediately put it on his finger. Plagg appeared. 'There you are.' Plagg said. 'No time for jokes, Plagg claws out!' Adrien said. He transformed into Chat Noir and went to Volpina to help her. 'Where is his miraculous?' Volpina asked. 'I don't know, just try to take whatever you can get.' Chat Noir said. And that's how they both began to strip Hawkmoth of whatever he had on him. He didn't like it. Eventually they took something and Hawkmoth transformed back to Gabriel. 'You disappoint me.' Chat Noir said. 'I finally know why you've neglected me. You were obsessed with power, so much that you'd steal for it and neglect me, your own son! How could you do this!?'
'It's not that difficult, after I heard about the miraculouses and especially the ring and the earrings, I knew I had to get them into my possession and use their power.' Gabriel said. 'For what!?' Chat Noir yelled. 'That's none of your business.'
'It is!'

Volpina put her hand on Chat Noir's shoulder. 'It's alright, he'll talk eventually when we hand him over to the police.' she said. Chat Noir didn't respond. Volpina took Gabriel Agreste. He struggled but she was stronger. 'Are you coming with me?' she asked. 'I think I'll go check on Marinette.' Chat Noir said. 'I hope they'll believe me when I say that Gabriel is Hawkmoth since they've never seen me before.' Volpina said. 'I'm sure they will, you'll see.'
'Thanks.' Volpina said when she flew out of the window. Chat Noir ran to his room to see if Marinette was alright. She had woken up and looked at Chat Noir as if she was trying to remember who he was. 'Why are you transformed and why am I on your bed?' Marinette said. 'It's a long story. Basically you were akumatized, stole my miraculous and then went to my house because apparently my father is Hawkmoth and he stole your miraculous as well.'
'Stop right there.' Marinette said while trying to take in all of that. She felt her ears but noticed her earrings were gone. 'My earrings.' she said. 'Here they are.' Chat Noir said while giving her her earrings. She put them in immediately and Tikki appeared. Se sighed in relief. 'Did you say that you father is Hawkmoth?' Marinette asked. 'Yes. It does explain a lot.'
'That's horrible.'
'But Alya stole his miraculous so he isn't Hawkmoth anymore.' Chat Noir said. 'Wait did you say Alya?'
'Yes, Alya found out that I was Chat Noir and followed you to my house. When we were in Hawkmoth's lair, I was completely powerless. Alya revealed that she's a superhero called Volpina. She had a miraculous but I had never seen Volpina before. She overpowered Hawkmoth. Because of her we were able to defeat Hawkmoth.'
'Alya would be a pretty good heroine.' Marinette said with a smile. 'She knows about you, but does she know about me as well?'
'No she doesn't.'
'Good. I'm sure she'll keep your identity a secret.' Marinette said. 'I know we can trust Alya.'
