When Adrien and Marinette almost arrived at Adrien's house, Marinette finally asked a question she had wanted to ask for a while. 'Adrien, why do you want me to meet your father right now?' she asked. Adrien just wanted to show that despite the fact that his father didn't show much love towards him, he had people who did. He wanted his father to know that he was happy with Marinette, but obviously he wasn't going to say that to Marinette. 'I just want to do this right.' he said. 'Because I feel like you are the one for me.'
Marinette blushed and didn't ask more questions. When they arrived at Adrien's house, the gate opened and they went to the front door. Nathalie opened it. 'Welcome Adrien.' she said. 'Hello Nathalie, do you know if my father is at home?' Adrien asked. 'Mr Agreste is at home.'
'Thank you.'
Marinette followed Adrien in the house while they were looking for Adrien's father. 'I know your house is big, but it shouldn't be this hard to find him right?' Marinette asked eventually when they still hadn't found him. 'You're right, I have no idea what he's doing.'

Meanwhile somewhere else in the house a mysterious figure stood in front of an open window. 'Fly away my little akuma and evilize this prey.' he said. A purple butterfly flew through the window. The window closed and the figure transformed, it was Gabriel Agreste. He left the secret room and went back to his normal life.

'Father!' Adrien yelled when he saw his father on the other side of the room. Marinette however was gone. She had just witnessed Gabriel Agreste coming out of the floor via some sort of platform. She thought it was very suspicious. 'Marinette!' Adrien yelled. Marinette immediately ran to Adrien. 'Father, this is Marinette, my girlfriend.' he said. 'Nice to meet you!' Marinette said while she intended to shake Gabriel's hand. Gabriel reluctantly took her hand and shook it. 'So you are his girlfriend? I didn't see this coming.' he said. Marinette, not knowing if he meant it in a good or bad way, had no idea what to say. 'That's the thing with love, you never know when it's going to enter your life.' Adrien said, saving Marinette from the situation. 'As long as you don't bother me it's fine.' Gabriel said. 'I won't, I promise.' Marinette said. 'Good.'
Gabriel walked away so it was just Adrien and Marinette now. 'Can I see your room?' Marinette asked. She had seen his room before, as Ladybug, but she wanted to see it as Marinette as well. 'Sure.' Adrien said. They walked to his room where Marinette immediately got a lot of good memories, just like Adrien. 'Remember that time when you were here as Ladybug and I pretended that I was taking a shower?' Adrien said with a smile. 'Yes, that was embarrassing.'
'I didn't actually take a shower, I just got in via the window to transform and then got out and eventually went back to transform again.' he said. 'Really? I thought you were really taking a shower. This makes it less embarrassing.' Marinette said. 'Good to hear.'
'I didn't know you loved camembert so much.' Marinette said out of nowhere. She saw the pieces of camembert on Adrien's table. 'I don't, they're for Plagg.'
'That's right.' Plagg said. He and Tikki had been in the background for a while because they were still used to hiding. 'Where is Tikki?' Plagg asked. 'Right here.' Tikki answered when she left Marinette's bag. 'Good to see you.'

Gabriel, who had been wandering around the house, heard some weird voices in Adrien's room. He walked to the door and put his ear on it.

'You have no idea how difficult Marinette could make loving you for herself.' Tikki said with a giggle. 'She had a schedule when you were doing what with the exact dates and times.'
'Tikki you're embarrassing me!' Marinette said when she turned red. 'Sorry Marinette.'
'I had no idea you were that obsessed with me.' Adrien said laughing. 'It's fine, don't worry about it.' he said. 'Thanks.'
'I still can't believe that we were in love all this time but we had no idea because of our other personalities.' Adrien said.

This drew Gabriel's attention, he leaned even more to the door.

'I used to watch the Ladyblog all this time, hoping that Alya would find out something about Ladybug and of course I watched the pictures and videos over and over again. Maybe I'm a bit obsessed as well.' Adrien said. 'It's fine, I guess we're even then.' Marinette said with a smile.

Gabriel thought he might have misunderstood Adrien, but he also thought he might've just heard him say that Marinette was Ladybug.

'Hey Marinette?' Adrien said. 'Hmm what?' Marinette said. 'We should do a race like that again sometime.'
'Good idea, don't think I'm going to lose. I'm going to win, just like last time.' Marinette said with a smirk on her face. 'I don't think so, you may have a yo-yo, but I have a stick that can stretch pretty far.'

Gabriel was sure Marinette was Ladybug, but was Adrien Chat Noir? He couldn't believe his ears.

'I should probably get going, it's getting late.' Marinette said. 'I understand.'

Gabriel walked away as soon as he could and after the door opened he acted like he didn't hear a thing.

Adrien walked downstairs with Marinette, not paying attention to his father. 'Bye Marinette.' Adrien said when he gave her a hug. He opened the door. 'Bye Adrien.' Marinette said when she walked outside and eventually blurred in with the traffic of Paris.
