Like every school day, my father came to wake me up,

He then went to prepare breakfast.

"Sora you have to wake up now or you'll be late.

I put on whatever came to my hand, a black hoodie and black jeans. I went to the kitchen and looked at my phone again.8h11. Someone knocked on the door. I opened the door and went to search for my bag without looking to see who it was.
"Hey Sora !
-Yeah, hi...where is it ?
-You should look before opening the door. I could've been a killer or a kidnapper.
-Yeah of course...wait maybe it's in there...
-Hey are you listening to me ?
-Yeah...AH! HERE IT IS ! Now I need my shoes...
-Hey you listen when I'm talking Sora !

-SORA! TAKE OFF THAT SHITTY HOODIE AND PUT SOME NORMAL CLOTHES FOR ONCE !!

I took my bag, grabbed Haru's hand and ran out of the apartment. Once we were far enough, I checked the time.8h17.

"Hey Timetable, what do we have this morning ?
-We have English, maths, French and history. And stop calling me that.
-Thanks, Timetable." Said he while smirking. So I punched him on the shoulder.He faked a pained face and said,

"Owe that really hurt! You have so much strength!! I beg you, don't hurt me anymore!!

-What ? Really ? Are you pouting ?"

After sometime I took out my phone and once again checked the time.8h29. I grabbed Haru's hand and began running.

"Shit !! We're going to be late !!
-No sweari- Whoa there ! Calm down!"

We were in front of the gates. That's a good thing. But it is 8h56. That's a bad thing. We're late.

"What do we do now ?
-Why not climb the gates ?
- I'll call on the monitor.
-You know how it always end when you do.
*biiiiiip* *biiiiiip* *biiii-
-Yes ?
-Hi, Could open the gates please ?
-Why would I do that ?
-Um...Well because we have to attend to our classes and we're outside the school so we need you to open the gates please.

I could feel her smirk through the monitor. I don't know why but she's always been so mean to me. I wonder if I did something wrong.

"Why ?!
-Next time try not to be late, Hahaha!

-Told ya. My idea's better than yours.

-I'll help you.

I climbed just fine but when I looked down from the top of the gates, I wasn't so confident anymore. Haru was already on the other side.

"That's pretty high...
-It's okay, You can do it! I'll catch you!!
-But what if you can't catch me cause I'm too heavy and I end up hurting you and you be able to use your arm or leg anymore ! Who knows I might even kill you !!
-C'mon man ! I caught things way heavier than you!! Jump !!
-I CAN'T!!

-It's too high...a-and I'm scared of heights..."

I whispered the last part. He looked at me a little suprised and then seemed to think. He suddenly looked up and asked me,

"Are you still scared of spiders ?
-Why...?
-Cause there's one right next to you !
-WHAT- AAHHH!!"

I wanted to get away from here but while doing soI fell off the gates. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact and pain to came. But I didn't feel pain, instead I felt something slightly touching my butt and my back. So I slowly opened my eyes to see Haru's smiling face.

"See, I told you I would catch you.
- . . . .
-What is it ?
-YOU SCARED ME, YOU FUCKING LIAR !!! LET ME GO!!
-Yeah sorry."

I kept shouting at him. I wasn't really mad. It's just that when he caught me, he accidentally touched my butt. And now I can feel myself blushing. I stopped once we got in the school building. We were heading for the principal because Haru kept saying he needed to tell him something important. He wouldn't tell me what.
Once we got there, we were about to knock on the door but someone opened it. The reception woman came out of the principal's office.

"It's too late...hehehe...
-Go fuck yourself, motherfucker!
-Don't say that, Haru.
-Yeah, whatever. But it's true thought. She's a real bitch.
-Haru!
-Yeah I know. But I'm not sorry.
-Come in."

We both got startled when the principal called us in. We entered the room.

"Good morning, sir.
-Good morning, boys. So why were you late this time ?
-Well you see, the that reception bitc- um I mean woman-
-Miss.Chiyo.
-Yeah that's it! She wouldn't let us in and she even insulted Sora-
-So ?

I elbowed him to make him stop.

"Excuse us, Mr.Viber, we shouldn't have bothered you for such trivial things.
-IT'S NOT A TRI-MNNGGH!"

I put my hand over his mouth and turned back my attention to the principal with a smile. He looked at me and said,

"Well as long as it doesn't happen anymore.
-We promise, it won't happen anymore. Excuse us but we must go to our class.
-You can go.
-Thank you, sir."

I walked out with my hand still on his mouth and closed the door with my free hand. We kept walking this way until we were far enough. I took my hand off his mouth and wiped it on a tissue. I had to bear his licking all the way here. Yuck !

"Why did you lick my hand ?!
-If you didn't put it on my mouth, I wouldn't have licked it.
-But it's your fault if I did it 1
-My fault ?! Where the fuck is it my fault ?!
-You wouldn't shut up!
-Hey ! I was trying to help you there!!
-I never asked for your help!!"

It seemed like Haru was going to explode but then he took a big deep breath while closing his eyes. He opened them again and looked at me, to my surprise, calmly. He put both of his hands on my shoulders and held me tightly. He looked deep in my eyes and told me firmly yet gently,

"Even if you don't ask for it or claim you don't need it, I'll always help you.I'll always be here for you. Wherever you are. Whenever you need me. And whatever the cost. Got it ?
-Uhh...
-Hey, why are you crying ? Did I make you cry ?!
-N-No it's just that I...I'm sorry for saying this!
- It's okay don't worry !"

He smiled at me and hugged me. I hugged him back. We both looked in each others' eyes. Our faces were getting closer and closer when-

"See I told you that dickhead was gay!
-That bastard, look what he's doing to Haru!!
-It's sexual assault! I'll call the police!
- WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU ?!
- But this faggot was going to-
-What did you call him, shithead ?
-Um I mean Sora was going to kiss you so-
-So what"

Haru narrowed his eyes menacingly. He took the boy by his collar and punched him. I stood there not knowing what to do as that boy was getting beat up by Haru.

"You know, you didn't have to beat him up that much.
-But he insulted you and I didn't beat him up 'that much'.
-We had to call an ambulance !
-He'll be okay.
-I hope so.
-What kind of person are you for worrying over a bully ?
-I'm not worried for him. I'm worried for you. I don't want you to get in trouble because of me.

It was the end of the day. Haru had beaten up that boy so hard that he fainted from blood loss. We called an ambulance but no one dared to say what happened. So we just said that we found him like this. Haru was walking me home, as always.

"Ah...um...Haru ?
-Hmm?
-I wanted to thank you.
-For?
-For standing up for me.
-Oh that ! It's okay, you don't need to thank me!! And remember If you need me, I'm always here !
-Okay, thank you Haru! See you tomorrow!
-See ya!"

I waved at him until I couldn't see him anymore. I smiled to myself, thinking back at what he said. From that day, I knew I could count on him, forever.
Little did I know how wrong I was.

I wrote a...ummm...let's call it a "prologue"!! I don't know if in my other book I did more than 1000 words...in this chapter I did 1603 words without this Author Note. With the Note it makes 1675 words!
