Chapter 25: Pain

Sucky Chapter, I'm sorry, but I hope you guys liked it... :/

Agent Wolfe's POV

Sitting on the table, his eyes looking at the same evidence board, pictures, notes, everything that he had found. But the one thing he couldn't wrap his head around was Ayden Hill, the 19 year old boy's picture looking right back at him. It was unknown if the young inmate had escaped or was, well, taken. Many believed that he had escaped with help from someone outside, but as Agent Wolfe started looking at the pictures, he was starting to think differently. Blinking, he stood up from the desk, walking over to the board and taking Ayden's picture in his hands, his eyes going over the notes they had placed under his name. Hearing a door open, Charles lifted his head up, seeing who was coming in, only to see it was his partner, two coffee cups in hand.

"Still looking at that thing?" He said, a smile creeping across his face that made Agent Wolfe wonder why the boy wasn't married yet.

"Have been for the last three hours." He said, placing the picture back on the board, taking the coffee cup Agent Spark offered.

Jeff Spark was a young man that was close to reaching his thirties, his eyes a bright blue and his hair a nice dark brown. Thanks to Agent Spark being assigned as his partner, Agent Wolfe had another set of eyes and mind to help him with this case that was already making world news.

"So, what you up to this time? Looking towards the boy?" Agent Spark asked, taking a light sip of his coffee as he stood by the table, watching as Agent Wolfe set his coffee down, looking at the large brown board.

"None of this adding up, I don't think Hill broke out, I think something else is going on that he just can't see and Skyler and other the teens might have been dragged into it." He said, tapping a Missing person picture of Heath, his eyes scanning over things, before they stopped, Agent Wolfe snapping his fingers.

"Does Ayden Hill have any family?" He asked, turning his head to see Agent Spark quickly move towards a box, going through a few files, mumbling 'Hill" a few times before he stopped, pulling out a folder.

Opening it, Agent Wolfe watched as Agent Spark looked over the file, before tapping something and looking up at Agent Wolfe.

"Nothing is listed about a mother, but it has his father's name, Ryan Hill." He said, Agent Wolfe moved over to him and taking the folder, flipping it around so he could see for himself, reading over it before he quickly went over to the desk, sitting down and typing the father's name into the jail system.

"Nothing but a few speeding tickets, one that he forgot to pay for but there is nothing that sticks out-wait" Agent Wolfe said, leaning in close, his eyes looking at a name that came up.

"Chase Hill, looks like your friend as a younger brother, with a lot of time served." He said, clicking on the name and pulling the records up, Agent Spark leaning in, reading out loud.

"2 years in juvey for robbery, he must of gotten the judge's soft side for only doing two years." He said, seeing that this young man was more a of the trouble maker then Ayden.

"It's like a junior of the devil, I swear, he's smiling in his picture." Agent Spark pointed out.

Hushing him, Agent Wolfe read over more of his time, his eyebrows raising. "He was released just last year, and from what I can tell, he hasn't been in trouble since, well, that we know of." He said, standing up and pushing the chair back, waiting as the printer printed out the picture of the young boy.

"Have police looking for him, if we find him, I'm sure we'll find Skyler and the others." He said, walking over to the board and pinning the picture of Chase Hill in the center, taking a step back.

"I have a feeling that this bee hive is just starting to stir up."

Skyler's POV

Everything felt, well, numb, I tried to move something, but I couldn't feel anything, only coldness. It was like a large blanket that won't get off. The more I tried to move, that was when I started to feel the pain, it was like fire getting oxygen and growing. Whimpering, I started to hear mumbling, sounding like someone talking or making sounds, but I couldn't make it out. Trying to bring my hand up to place it on my head, I cried out when the pain lit up like a match, something that I had never felt before.

"Wake up." A voice whispered as I felt something cold touch me, lightly rocking me back and forth.

I winced as I tried to move my arm, only getting another flash of pain making me whimper. Slowly, I opened my eyelids, a bright light greeting me, causing me to wince, closing my eyelids once again.

"Wake up." The voice whisper lightly again, but this time, closer to my ear, it's breath feeling warm.

Again, I opened my eyes, everything a dancing blur as I blinked a few times, finally seeing a set of eyes looking down at me, mixed with green and blue. As everything started to clear, sounds started to pick up, what sounded like chains moving back and forth.

As I looked at the eyes, I quickly remembered them belonging to the boy; How long ago was that again? Swallowing, I watched as his eyes moved to look at something, mind following his to stop at my right arm, a large black brace in casing my elbow and down, my middle finger and one right of it held in what looked like a brace type thing for fingers. A shadow soon appeared over me, my weak eyes moving to see it was a man, a gun strapped to his belt on his left, his eyes looking down towards me before they moved over to the boy.

"Are you done?" He asked, the boy's bottom lip moving, but he only nodded, before standing up and stepping off to the side, the man slowly bent down, his large arms picking me up. But as he did so, a cry escaped my lips as my hurt arm was pressed against his chest hard, the boy moving forward only to take a step back when the man gave him a 'I dare you' look. Whimpering, I opened my eyes a little when I felt like we were moving, hearing weak muffled protest from behind, the man holding me blocked me from seeing who it was as he took me upstairs, the boy come right behind him.

When we got upstairs, the light that appeared caused me to wince, making me to turn my head away, ignoring the fact that I just placed my face into a stranger's chest. Slowly, I opened my eyes again, looking around the place, then it hit me, the room, it was just like Mr. Hill's living room, and it was.

"South." The man said making me look at the boy as he lifted his head up, his eyes just beautiful.

"Go to your master and ask him if he wants to give her pain killers or not." He said, and the boy, or South only moved his eyes over to me before he was gone in a blink of an eye.

"Now, let's get you upstairs." the man mumbled, heading towards the stairs. If I didn't feel so weak and tired, I would of put up a fight, but it felt like every muscle in my body was dead, leaving me in the man's arms as he made his way up the stairs, humming to himself quietly, ignore the fact I was starting to fall asleep in his arms. Reaching up stairs, he walked over to one of the doors that was opened, walking in and taking me over to the bed that was in the center, the same bed that Will was once in, but now air sat on the bed, waiting for me, making me wonder what they did with him.

Softly, he set be down, my bad arm resting on my stomach as I felt my body sink into the bed, my eyes coming suddenly heavy. As I looked up at the man, his figure coming a dancing blur, I notice how he looked over his shoulder towards someone, his voice ruff, but soft at some parts.

"If Mr. Hill wishes that. Just go get her food and water that she needs to have or she's not going to make it, she's already looking at me like I'm a donut." He said, making me move my eyes to see who was by the door, only to see a figure walking out of the room. I was pulled from looking at the door when hands were lightly placed on me, moving me a little until they were gone, the sound metal hitting metal before I felt something metal touching me, making me glance over to the see the man locking something around my ankles before he took a step back, looking over me before he nodded his head and walked away, leaving me in the room alone, feeling like I gotten hit by a bus.

This was going to be one long road of pain.

"Skyler?" A soft voice spoke, something slight rocking me back and forth causing me to open my eyes and meet a set of green looking at me.

I had tried to stay awake, but after what felt like an hour, no one came and the bed seemed like it was just calling my name, so well, I decided to curl up and fall asleep, and now I was looking up at the boy that so far, I had heard everyone calling him South, his eyes soft, his lips formed into a tiny smile.

I blinked a few times as I looked at him, taking everything in, his eyes were soft, his hair nearly passing his slim shoulders. He must of notice me spacing because he cleared his throat, making me shake my head and look by the bed to see a tray of food. I looked back at him, my eyes looking down to see him holding three pills out to me, his eyes towards the door.

"These will help with the pain, make you a little dizzy, but it will help." He said, sliding them into my hands and looking at me. I looked down at the piles, before looking at him, only getting a nod before he looked back towards the door.

Slowly, I slipped the pills into my mouth, dry swallowing them the best I could, coughing a little. "Thanks.." I mumbled, seeing him quickly stand up, taking a bowl of what I had to guess was tomato soup, and hand if off to me.

"I'm sure you can feed yourself, right?" He asked, his eyes meeting mine as our heads touching, only for me to break that warm contact and pull way, the bowl in my hands. I looked down at the soup, the dark red color staining the inside of the white bowl.

Slowly, I took the spoon, taking a little of the tomato soup and putting it in my mouth, the flavor so strong it caused me to cough before recovering. The boy raising an eyebrow, watching me set the soup off the side, my eyes moving to my arm, the black brace swallowing my hand.

"Did he do this?" I whispered, his eyes looking at my arm.

"You mean Master?" He said, my eyes flickering towards him.

Before I could say anything, I watched as he quickly got to his feet just as the last person on earth I wanted to see walked in, a smile across his face as he looked at me. I'm sure if looks could kill, Mr. Hill would be dead.

"Aw, it's good to see you awake. South? Please take what food she had not eaten and leave, I need some alone time with our guest." Mr. Hill said, the boy only nodding his head and he grabbed the tray, looking towards me on last time before he left the room.

"I see you have noticed your arm." Mr. Hill said, folding his arms behind his back and smiling.

I didn't speak, I only turned my head away, my left hand lightly moving to hold my right, this got a sigh from Mr. Hill before I heard him move closer. "Let me guess, not going to speak either? Just like that other boy, what was his name again?" He mumbled before I lightly jumped when he snapped his fingers. "Heath, that's his name, that boy sure does love to cause himself just more fun." He said, getting me to look at him, my eyes burning as they tried to fight the tears.

"What have you done with them?" I said, watching as he chuckled. Did he find this funny?

"Oh Skyler, I sure have missed you, but your lovely attitude has changed, that's for sure." He said, my left hand moving up to brush the first tear that was inches from running down my face. "How about I just show you where he is, along with Will that I'm sure you are also wondering about. Keene!" He called out.

Turning my head towards the door, I watched as a man walked through the door, his muscular shoulders making my stomach flip. He looked towards Mr. Hill who looked at me, giving him orders. "Follow behind Miss. Oaks here and make sure she doesn't try anything, I'm sure she's wants to see her friends and not any more darkness." He said, before walking out of the room, Keene only looking at me, waiting for me to go behind.

I watched as Keene walked over and unlocked the chains from around my ankles, before taking a step back. Slowly, I got up, keeping my eyes on Keene, only for him to look back. As I went to take my first step, a wave of dizziness hit me, causing me to stumble forward, Keene quickly moved forward and catching me, my left hand digging into his arm as I felt my right arm light up with pain.

"Take it easy." He spoke softly, leading me towards the door, keeping his hands on me just to make sure he won't have to explain himself to Mr. Hill about me blacking out.

"I can walk." I breathed, taking his arm off of my body and using the wall as my support as I stepped out into the hall, wincing when I bumped my arm against the wall, looking up to see Mr. Hill tapping his foot across the hall, standing and waiting for me. Man, I really should of eaten more of that soup.

When I got to Mr. Hill, I could hear muffled words coming from the other side of the wall, along with what sounded like chains hitting chains. Glancing over to Mr. Hill, I gagged as he smiled at me, reaching over and unlocking the door before opening it and stepping in. I followed behind before I stopped dead in my tracks, feeling my stomach leap into my throat as I saw who was in here.

Chained and gagged, Will looked at me, his eyes wide as he saw me, before he bit down on the cloth and started to shake his head back and forth, tugging at the chains locked onto his wrist and ankles, before his light blues looked at me. But that wasn't the only thing that made me feel like the air was taken from me. Heath looked right at me, his eyes looking like they were frozen as he just looked, his mouth free of any gag, only his hands chained together in front of him, leaving him to sit in the corner of the large room.

"Heath?" I breathed, a light sob escaping my throat. My mind reminding how he ended up here.

"I'm so sorry..." I said, seeing tears line his eyes as he looked away, blinking hard as he brought his hands up and rubbed his eyes.

Quickly, I turned my full body towards Mr. Hill, bring my hand up only for Keene to quickly grab it, stopping me from hitting the monster. Tears slipping. "Miss Oaks, you should be happy I didn't kill him, he could be dead right now, thanks to you so I would erase thinking of hitting me if you want him to stay alive." He said, taking me chin into his hand and forcing me to look at him, his other thumb tracing the lines of wet tears that were falling.

"Keene here is going to take you back to your room, get some good sleep, you'll need it." He said, letting go of my chin, Keene took my left arm and pulled me out of the room, leading me back to the room.

"Please, sit down." He said, and I did so, the tears just falling as he locked the chains back on, before using his hand and brushing the tears away, making me look at him.

"Luv, smile, it's what this place needs." He said, before he stood up and walked out of the room, looking at me one last time before he pulled the door shut, and when I know the door was shut for sure, I broke down.

I pulled myself into a ball, sobbing. This was all my fault, this was my fault.
