For the first one, you mean Cyan. Yes, he is a water spirit. But he's a Wingly as well.

A water spirit is a person whose soul has bonded with water and has reformed to give him a second chance. But being a wingly, he also was transformed into an older form. So in reality, he's actually Senior Green's age but he has everything that says he's the Sharea Dexters' age.

As for the other question... I will say this. I will only answer 2 questions from it. Any other questions you have to actually ask. There's... at least 7 that I was able to find. You have to get the rest because I will not give you all of them. I answer, not find questions and answers. Keep up. (Glares at the requester)

1: What is so significant about the group?

They are all spirits. Or a form of them.

Cedar: Spirit/Sprite
Cyan: Spirit/Wingly
Arctic: Spirit/Familiar/Brownie
Moonstone: Myling
Sang-E-Maryam: Familiar/Satori/Yatunit

2: What exactly did Cyan do to achieve the scare upon Red?

Simple. He did a multi step process.

A: He removed all solid/non-ghosty objects from his hands.
B: He turned into his ghost form and floated through the walls and floor to the kitchen.
C: He turned his ghost voice on and whispered to Red.
D: He turned into his True Water form and made Red miss his attack.
E: After a brief chant, he turned back into his ghost form and returned to his room before going solid.
