    "Are we there yet?" Jayden says as he sighs letting his head loll lazily resting it on the head rest behind him, his adams apple bobbing up and down as he gulps letting out another long drawn out sigh.
    I resisted the urge to bang my head continuously against the steering as Marcus was doing it for me for the last past hour and a half.
    He stopped for only a moment rubbing his sore forehead and looked over at me in confusion.
    "How have you not killed him yet?" He brows scrunch together as he completely disregard s the fact that Jayden is still in the car.
    I shrug my shoulders. "Trust me i have tried." I say as i rhythmically against the steering wheel.
    "You'll never succeed." Jayden says 'under his breath'.
   I stop the car a red light and turn around yo face him bracing my hand on the back of Marcus' seat. "Do you want to test that theory?" I say as i narrow my eyes into dangerous slits.
    He gulps and shakes his head no frantically. "As i thought." I turn back around and and look at the road ahead as the light turns green.
    "But seriously how much longer until we get there we have been driving for forever."
    Marcus rolls his eyes as he pulls out his phone and squints he eyes trying to read something. "If Nick's directions are right then the take the next left and we should be there."
   I almost choke on my own spit. "Nick?"
   "Uh yeah."
   "Isn't that your-"
   "Yup."
   "Why didn't you tell me sooner I would have dressed nicer." I say as I hit him on the back of the head gesturing to my lazily put together outfit.
    "Why?" He says in genuine confusion and I had the urge to hit him again but I think that the first time I hit him I caused some brain damage.
    "Because I would've liked to make a good impression."
    "Am i missing something here?" Marcus turns around and looks at Jayden who simply shrugs his shoulders also confused.
    I rolled my eyes and left the subject. "Is this the left you were talking about." I ask gesturing to dirt path to the left he nods his head.
   "Yeah, turn left here and Nick says to get out of the car and wait."
   "Finally." Jayden says ad he lets out a breath of relief and as we turn I can see Taylor's car not far behind.
    We park and get out of the car and look around for any sign of like but all that is around for miles are the endless seas of green grass and trees along the narrow dirt road going through it.
   "Nick here yet?" I hear Rose's voice as i hear the sound of car doors closing and Hazel,Taylor, and Aaron get out and walk over to the little clump we had made.
   "Yeah or at least close i can sense them." He says a he closes his eyes trying to concentrate.
   "Ew Nick's bringing the whole group." Rose replied as she scrunched he nose in dislike.
    "Yup." He says popping the 'p' at the end while nodding his head.
    "Tell me when they're gone i am waiting in the car." She says as she grabs Aaron hand and practically drags him to the car closing the door after pulling Aaron into the with her.
    "Well they seem to be getting along famously." I say as i walk to Marcus' side as he looks out into the almost empty sea of grass in front of us his brows furrowed like when he thinks.
    "Yeah, sure." He says as he nods his head not making eye contact with me and totally spaced out.
   "Something wrong?"
   He seemed to be brought out of his daze and quickly denied me. "I fine." But if I had learned anything from him in our years together I know that he was never a good liar.
    "Bro, I know you and I can definitely see that there's something up." I say trying to reassure him that he could talk to me.
    "I said I'm fine! Just drop it okay." A silence washes over all us as Marcus looks around at me then at everyone a look of distress crosses his face and he storms further down the dirt path.
    Completely stunned this was the second time since we have seen each that he's lashed out on me and I couldn't understand why I just wanted to help.
    She wasn't the one.
    It was echo I could tell by her quiet calm tone. But what could she m an by she wasn't the one? An was the she she was even referring to?
    "Well Nick she isn't his mate."
     Wait Nick is a girl. I ask is actual disbelief I thought Nick was  a guy this whole time.
    "You aren't that bright are you?"
     Hey I didn't know all the facts and didn't want to exclude that option.
    I can feel echo practically shakes ng her head as she laughs at me causing me to feel even more dumb than I already did. "You poor innocent child learn to observe more carefully."
    I had the urge to ask her what she meant but I felt that I would end up having more questions than answers so    I just stuck with my original ones.
     "You'll see soon enough."
    Resisting the urge to literally rip the hair from my head I moved and watched as Marcus continued to walk out into the distance not looking like he was going towards anything. Maybe this is for the best and maybe ye was right. I guess a lot of things can change in a decade.
    But weirdly even though deep down in the logical pat of my brain i knew that she was right, part of me just couldn't fathom that this person that i had seen almost everyday for my childhood could change so drastically. but then again i didn't know i was a so type of mutant that i thought only existed in fairytale and Greek mythology.
    Moments later i could hear the loud revving of motorcycle engines and the excited yelling of teenagers. we all popped our heads up to this and just a few meters away I could see about five or six people riding on matching black and red motorcycles that were approaching. and above them i could see Marcus flying just above them. which was a shock none the less but it was still amazing how many things that i was completely oblivious until literally a few hours ago
    As they approached i couldn't help but think they looked like one of those bad ass biker gangs from those 80's movies, with matching leather jacket and such.
    As they stopped in front of us Jayden goes to stand next to me I with a protective yet hostile aura. which made my heart skip a beat or two that i am not sure i was mad of happy about.
    The one in the front who i presume to be the leader gets off her bike. After she took off her helmetto be honest i was suprse the Marcus was even able to get her attention to say he least she was drop dead gorgeous and, for a moment, made me want to rethink the team i was playing for. She long black curly hair, with beautiful dark chocolate skin that glowed in the sun, she had carmel colored eyes that stared into the soul, and curves that put mine to shame.
    Even though i was fairly confident in my looks hers was an example when god decides to over achieve.
    She walked up to me after placing her helmet on the handle of her vehicle marcus not to far behind. She eyed me for a moment looking at me up and down as if evaluating me in some way, walking around me as i stood my ground.
    "So this is what you dragged me all the out here for. In her insult which i thought was interesting. "Some sad excuse for a super natural creature."
   Marcus opened his mouth to speak on my behalf but if there anything that he should know is that i can stand up for myself perfectly fine no help needed.
    "In really i should be the one who is offended because after waiting so long for this meeting i am nothing short of disappointment. Maybe for next I'll be sure to expect less. actually hopefully there never is a next time." i stood and waited for her retort. And though it wasn't some of my best she was just testing me to see if i could hold my own a test i had performed on any before but all seemed to fail.
    she squinted her eyes at me and there was and steady silence as i looked at her and she looked at me us both unwavering in our stares.
     Then suddenly a wide smile broke out on her face and she reached out my hand in which i returned along with my smile. "I like this one. she has some fight in her if i have ever seen some. The name's Nicky but you can just call me nick."
     "The names Theresa but you can call me Say if you want." i say in a more calm and friendly tone which was quite surprising since she is probably one of the first people in a while i have taken such a liking to besides Hazel.
    "Well now that all of that is out of the way why don't we hang out or something." I hear Taylor say behind me.
   i give her a look that says 'if your down i'm down' to which she nodded in agreement. now all there was to ask was where to?

HI GUYS i am back and hopefully here to stay. i just got a new keyboard and i am hoping that i can updates out faster and with more content.
for those of you who have been there patiently waiting i would say expect about one to two updates a week i know its not a lot since i have like three stories out but i am going to try to do my best i'm also writing another book but i am sure if i am going to publish or not but i i do i hope you like
