Morning sunlight beamed through the mansion, making everything look even grander and golden. 

The Kundrra mansion was a buzzing fairground —

flowers, lights, music, and a thousand voices shouting orders. 

Reva and Shilpa, though still a little distant emotionally, were running around helping the decorators with flowers, checking on the caterers, and scolding random workers with full  to be nanad- bua energy. 

Harsh and Preet  were literally chasing kids around the hall ...( typical kids)

Suddenly... all heads turned 

Because KARAN KUNDRRA — the groom-to-be — was walking down the grand staircase.

Decked up in a royal deep blue sherwani, hair perfectly set, that cocky lazy smile on his face — pure royalty. 

It was like time slowed down. 

Karan's Mom (eyes shining with unshed tears, smiling warmly): "Arre meri nazar na lage mere Putar  ko!" 

She immediately took out her little nazar utarna ka nimbu-mirchi combo  and started doing serious Indian mom-style nazaar utaarna ceremony around Karan.

Karan (laughing):"mom...sachi?? ye sab kya hai??"

Mom (ignoring him, lovingly): "Shaadi ke din sab nazar lagti hai! Aur tu aaj itne saalon baad itna khush dikh raha hai beta... Nazar utarna toh banta hai!" 

Meanwhile, in a corner,

Reva and Shilpa watched everything quietly.

Their hearts were still heavy, but even they couldn't deny it —

Karan's happiness was radiating like sunshine. 

Reva (softly, to Shilpa):"Dekha? Kitna khush hai ye... saalon baad." 

Shilpa (nodding, little misty-eyed): "Haan... yeh khushi ka asli wajah woh dono  hain... Teju aur Kavya."

They exchanged a small bittersweet smile, finally starting to see the truth they'd been too angry to accept.

Teju's house - decorated as a lightening lamp . 

Teju was in her room  in a royal blue lehenga. She stood in front of the mirror, her makeup artist doing the final touches.

But what was more chaotic?

Kavya, the tiny diva, was sitting on the couch in a mini version of the same blue lehenga — just like mumma. 

 She had insisted on wearing it because, according to her, "Mumma and I should match, right?" 

( GUYS...JUST IMAGINE..THIS IN REALLLLL 😭😭😭😭😭)

Teju (grinning at her):"Okay, okay, but just don't trip over it"

Kavya (hands on her hips like a mini boss):"Mumma..... I'm a pro at wearing lehengas!" 

 She spins around dramatically, making Teju laugh.

Teju (laughing, pulling her hair in a playful mom manner):"Pro, huh? Let's see about that, kiddo!" 

Just then, Teju's mom walked in with a mischievous smile on her face, ready to shower some love on her daughter and granddaughter. 

Teju's Mom : "Arre, naazar na lag jaaye iss maa-beti ko!!!!"

Kavya (with a cheeky smile and pulling her nani closer): "Aaise nhi nani....aaise bolo..nazar na lage...naani ko, mumma ko aur baby ko"

She pulled Teju's mom in, making everyone laugh as Kavya confidently did a nazaar utarna gesture over them both. 

Teju (rolling her eyes): " aare meri daadi amma..aab tu nazar utaregi hamara??"

Teju's Mom (laughing, pinching Teju's cheek):"Well, teri beti tuj pe hi gayi hai..drama queen ki drama princess"

Kavya (in full drama mode):" Naani, don't worry! Naazar kisiko nahi lagega, it's all good now." 

Teju smiled, leaning down to kiss Kavya's forehead. 

Her heart warmed at how much Kavya had grown up in the last few years, both as her daughter and as the little bundle of joy that always found a way to make everything fun.

Kavya (hitting Teju with a pillow playfully):" Mumma..aab chalo bhi papa ke pass....i am missing himmm"

Teju (laughing and fixing her lehenga):" ha ha baby..chalte hai..."

Kunddra mansion

The house was buzzing with excitement. The decorations were in place, the guests were arriving, and the air was filled with anticipation for the sagai.

Kavya, wearing her mini royal blue lehenga, was running around excitedly, her eyes twinkling with joy. 

She couldn't wait to see everyone and show off how she and her mumma were matching in the same outfit! 

As she saw Karan and the others arriving, she couldn't hold back her excitement and ran straight into his arms. Karan, always ready to catch her, effortlessly lifted her up, twirling her around.

Kavya (giggling, holding onto Karan's neck): "Papa! See! Mumma and I are wearing the same lehenga!" 

Karan (with a loving grin, looking at both Teju and Kavya): "My princess and my queen are looking amazing." 

He winked at Teju, making her blush slightly. 

Teju, looking stunning in her own royal blue lehenga, couldn't help but smile at the sight of Kavya and Karan's sweet moment. 

The sagai ceremony had begun, and the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. 

Karan's eyes locked onto hers, his grin widening as he held out the ring. It was beautiful, sparkling with the promise of a future together.

Karan (grinning):" aab toh phas gayi aap mere sathhh"

As Karan slid the ring onto Teju's finger, a playful laugh escaped him.

Karan (teasing):" perfect..just like our relationship"

Everyone watched with amusement as Karan and Teju exchanged rings, but it was far from a simple, graceful moment. They were laughing, teasing each other, and completely enjoying the chaos that came with it.

The engagement ceremony had just ended, and the guests were mingling, chatting, and congratulating the happy couple. But as always, there were some whispers and judgments behind closed doors.

A group of aunties, who had been eyeing Teju and Karan's relationship from the very beginning, had gathered in a corner. Their whispering soon turned into loud murmurs as they talked about the unanswered questions they had about Kavya's parentage.

Aunty 1 (with a skeptical look): "Do you think Karan is really Kavya's biological father? I mean, she could be Teju's daughter with someone else. Ye sab chupa kar kyu rakha inhone phir?" 

Aunty 2 (nodding along): "Exactly! kuch toh gadbad hogi hi na.... If Kavya really is Karan's daughter, why is there no proof?" 

Aunty 3 (whispering): "Maybe Teju is hiding something....Aab sach kisse hi pata hai?" 

Teju had overheard these murmurs from across the room. Her eyes were immediately filled with tears as she heard their hurtful words. She didn't expect this kind of doubt from people who had always seemed so supportive.

She turned towards Karan, looking for some reassurance, but before she could say anything, Karan was already about to step in, his jaw clenched with anger. 

But just as Karan was about to march over and give them a piece of his mind, Reva and Shilpa walked in at the perfect moment, overhearing everything.

Reva (looking directly at the aunties, voice unwavering):" aunty..pls...Teju aaisi ladki nhi hai...okay? vo itni kabil hai ki apni beti ko khud se akele parvarish de sakti hai"

Shilpa (joining in, her voice just as confident):" agar vo keheti hai ki Kavya..karan aur uski beti hai..toh hai...na hi hume koi DNA test chahiye..or na hi koi aur proof..so pls.."

Reva: " aab sagai ke liye aayi hai..vo hogayi...aab aap jana chahti hai jaa sakti hai nhi toh yaha chup chap baith ke...enjoy kijiye na...thanku"

Karan and Teju saw them with smiles....

reva: " aab aab ..tum dono senti mat ho..sagai hai..enjoy karo.."

karan hugged his sisters after so long..

karan: " thanku so much.....thanku samaj ne ke  liye"

all smiled seeing their bond..even pratik hugged teju....

Kavya innocently saw all and then huffed .......

kavya: "huhhhhh"( dramatic)

karan: " princess ki hoya?"

kavya: " papa..ye galat hai.."

karan: " kya galat hai?"

kavya: " aapki bhi do do sisters..hai...mumma ka bhi ek brother hai..mera hi koi sister ya brother kyu nhi hai?? muje bhi chahiye..abhi ek abhi..."

teju and karan were full red like tomatoes..

Karan's dad ( teased) : " doll..dont worry..ye shaadi ho jane de..uske baa.d.i am sure..ek saal ke andar..tera bhai ya behen aa hi jayega..haina karan?"

karan: " vo..vo.."

teju's mom: " ha beta.....tere mumma papa hai na.....tu na unhe roz ye baat yaad dilate rehena ..okay?"

teju: " aai....kya aap bhi.."

kavya saw tejran like a commander....

kavya: " batao na mumma papa...muje mera bhai ya behen kab milega??"

teju: " um..vo..muje kal ke haldi ka preparations karne hai.."

( she rushed out)

kavya saw karan..

karan( took his phone out): " hello ha...ha..aaya..abhi aaya ..aa hi raha hu" - he left  out..

kavya huffed ...

kavya: " huh...raat ko vapis puchungiiii

and all laughed
