The next morning at Karan's house was filled with the usual breakfast chatter. The dining table was set with a spread of parathas, fruits, and tea. The sun streamed in through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room.

As Karan sipped his tea, his phone buzzed with a new message. He glanced at the screen and a smile spread across his face. The rest of the family, noticing his expression, exchanged curious glances.

(K.D): "Karan, kya baat hai? itne khush lag rahe ho? flirting?"

Karan quickly composed himself, but the smile didn't fade.

Karan: " nhi dad....bas ek message aaya tha ..so bas"

Shilpa: "Koi special message hai kya?  kisi special ladki se

Reva: "Ha..koi toh khas hai

Karan's smile faded

Karan: " aaisa kuch nhi hai....meri life mai ek hi special ladki thi..jo all thanks to u both aab.meri life mai nhi hai" (sternly)

both sisters went quiet 

Tejasswi had sent him a series of pictures showing Kavya attempting to bake a cake. The kitchen was a mess, with flour scattered everywhere and Kavya looking determined but covered in ingredients. The images were both chaotic and  cute  and Karan found himself smiling at the sight of his daughter's efforts.

K.M: "Karan...kaha khoye hai??"

Karan: "Kuch nahi, mummy... aaise hi "

k.d: " kuch toh baat hai...bata"

Karan: "aaisa kuch nhi hai dad...chill...subah subah cid mat bano"

As the family continued their breakfast, Karan occasionally glanced at his phone, his heart warmed by the images of Kavya's baking adventure

At Tejasswi's home 

Kavya was sitting at the kitchen table with a cute pout, her small arms crossed in front of her.

She was staring at the phone screen, where Karan had just posted a new picture.

The photo featured Karan with a little girl who was the same age as Kavya. The girl was playing a role in Karan's movie, and the photo was meant to promote the film.

Tejasswi, noticing Kavya's expression, walked over and sat beside her, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.

Tejasswi: "betu..kya hua? abhi toh cake banate hue happy the aap..aab sad kyu?"

Kavya looked up at her mother with big, expressive eyes, her voice a mix of confusion and sadness.

Kavya: "Mumma, papa ne ek   ladki ke saath photo post ki hai..meri age ki.... Kya wo mujhe pasand nahi karti?"

Tejasswi's heart melted at Kavya's innocent question. She sat down next to her daughter, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.

Tejasswi: "Arey, meri jaan, aisa nahi hai. Woh bachi papa ke film mein ek role play kar rahi hai. Uske saath photo isliye hai kyunki woh film ki promotion ke liye hai."

Kavya's pout deepened, her eyes still fixed on the phone screen.

Kavya: "Lekin mumma...papa itne dur rehete hai..ho sakta hai na ki vo muje bhul jaye"

Tejasswi chuckled softly, taking Kavya's small hands in her own.

Tejasswi: "Nahi, beta. Papa tuje kabhi nahi bhul sakte. Aap dono ke beech koi aur nhi aa sakta..vo bas papa ki movie hai..aur aap papa ki reality."

Kavya seemed to consider this, her frown easing slightly as she looked up at her mother with hopeful eyes.

Kavya: "Sach mein, mumma? Papa mujhe miss kar rahe hain?"

Tejasswi: "Haan, beta. Papa aapko bahut miss kar rahe hain.."

Kavya's face brightened a bit, the reassurance from her mother lifting her spirits. She looked at Tejasswi with a small smile.

Kavya: "Acha mumma, toh papa jaldi ghar aayenge na?"

Tejasswi: "Haan, beta. Papa jaldi ghar aayenge....."

Kavya nodded, her mood lifting as she snuggled closer to Tejasswi. Tejasswi smiled, relieved to see her daughter's sadness fading away.

Tejasswi: "chalo aab....tumhe cookies banane the na...lets make it today"

Kavya's eyes sparkled at the mention of cookies. She clapped her hands excitedly, forgetting about the photo.

Kavya: "Yay! Cookies! Mumma, aap best ho!!!! cookies banane ke baad hum papa ko video call karenge...."

Tejasswi: " Okay madam...." 

both giggled and had a lovely mom-daughter time
