Karan's father, who had been watching his son carefully, decided to address something that had been on his mind for a while 

K.D:  "Karan, ek baat batao. Tum itni frequently US jaate ho. Koi khas wajah hai?"

Karan paused, taking a moment before answering. He knew this question was bound to come up eventually. 

Keeping his expression neutral, he replied

Karan:  " Papa. Ek business deal chal rahi hai wahan....bas isiliye."

k.d: ha toh vo online bhi ho sakta hai na.....

karan: nhi vo....new venture hai na toh personally jana acha hota hai

k.d: okay...par phir itna saman kyu le jaa raha hai? vaha hongi na  teri cheeze.....khamakha extra paise dena padhta hai tuje...aur aate wakt khali bag leke aata hai

karan: come on dad....itna kamata hu toh ye extra mai kya hi ho jayega....konsa ismai paise bachake muje lal killa banwana hai

k.d: par...

karan: mummy...samjhao na aapne pati ko....khana toh khane de

k.m: aap shant rahiye na..bache ho khana toh khane dijiye....

After some time

Karan came in living room with his bags

k.m: Arey, Karan! Tumne apni medicines pack ki hain na?

Karan smiled, knowing where this was headed. 

karan: "Haan, Mummy, sab pack kar liya," he replied patiently.

k.m: "And you're sure you have enough warm clothes? Wahan thand rahegi toh kya hoga??  

karan's dad: jam jayega vo...(joking)

karan's mom glared him

karan : "Mummy chill..mai thik rahunga.....dont worry ...,"  

He chuckled, amused by her motherly concerns.

 k.d: "Karan, tumhari Mummy ka ye daily drama hai. Tum bas jao aur apna kaam karo. Hum sab yahin hain." 

k.m: "Tum sab milke mujhe chidhate ho,"

 she said, pretending to be upset, but the smile on her face gave her away. 

k.m: "Jaldi aana Karan,  aur call karte rehena ...vakt pe khana kha le...soo jana time pe..zyada stress mat lena..."

Karan gave his mother a quick hug.

K.m:  "Mummy, main bilkul thik rahunga. aap bilkul tension mat lo."

Harsh and Preet, who had been watching all this with wide eyes, suddenly ran up to Karan, each grabbing one of his legs.

Harsh:  " maamu, aap wapas kab aaoge?" 

karan: "Jaldi aa jaunga," 

Karan assured him, crouching down to their level. "Aur tum dono ke liye bohot saare gifts bhi launga."

Preet asked, his little face serious. : "Promise?" 

Karan: "Pakka promise," He  said, holding out his pinky finger, which both boys eagerly linked with theirs.

karan saw shilpa and reva and then hugged his jijus ignoring his sisters and went in the car to the airport.

The plane touched down smoothly at the bustling airport in the US,.. Karan Kundrra gathered his belongings, his excitement was on cloud nine .

He booked a cab for himself and was now impatient waiting for it

The sound of a car pulling up broke his reverie, and Karan looked up to see a sleek cab coming to a stop in front of him. He quickly gathered his luggage and approached the driver.

Karan slid into the back seat, his excitement almost too much to contain. 

His mind buzzed with thoughts of the reunion. He pictured the happy faces, the hugs, and the conversations that would soon fill the air. It was these moments, away from the pressures of his career and daily life, that he cherished the most.

Finally, the cab approached the address, and Karan's heart skipped a beat. The familiar surroundings came into view, and he felt a rush of joy knowing he was just moments away from seeing his beloved family. 

As the cab came to a stop in front of the house, Karan took a deep breath. 

He paid the driver, grabbed his bags, and stepped out of the cab. The sight of the house in front of him brought a wide smile to his face. 

He could already imagine the warm welcome that awaited him inside.

With a sense of elation, Karan walked up to the door, his heart pounding with joy. He rang the doorbell, the sound echoing in the quiet early morning

Almost immediately, the door swung open, and there stood ................
