I was beyond angry. That stupid mechanic was getting to my head again. I wished I could stop thinking about him. My fingers dug into the sand as tears flowed down my face. If only. I used that phrase too much... Seeing him on the computer has lifted my spirits a considerable amount and yet it wasn't enough. My thoughts were interrupted when the smell of perfume filled my nose and a puff of pink erupted in front of me. I instantly knew who it was.

"Hello Lady Aphrodite." I greeted the woman. She smiled down at me.

"Hello young lady." She beamed, "Some tea and a chat?"

"Umm... Okay." I wasn't quite sure what to think of that but I knew I couldn't argue. She laid a blanket on the sand and our tea magically appeared.

"So... What brings you here?" I asked, looking at her ever changing face.

"I thought I might comfort you a bit. I know this is hard." Her look was genuine yet I still hesitated.

"How would you know what this is like?" I asked though gritted teeth. Her expression didn't change.

"I feel everyone's love. I am the goddess of love after all." She replied.

"Now," She said, moving on. "Let's get you cleaned up." I groaned. This would be torturous. I felt comfortable in my jeans and shirt but again, you can't exactly argue with Aphrodite.

After a long hour of trying on outfits and listening to Aphrodite squeal about different couples I ended up in a short, light pink dress with my hair braided to one side and a rose near my bangs we settled down and drank tea.

"Oh my gods Frazel is so cute! Here, look!" She squealed, showing me some pictures of a couple cuddling and drinking eggnog by a Christmas tree. Then the same couple sitting side by side on a bed among many others.

"You're right, they are cute." I smiled slightly.

"You know Percabeth right?" She asked me. I nodded. She grinned and turned her I-pad toward me, showing a picture of Percy and Annabeth asleep in stables with a glass floor. Surprisingly I cooed along with Aphrodite. The rest of the night was filled with laughing, quiet talks and a whole lot of squeals. You know, Aphrodite isn't all that bad sometimes.
