The wind whispered as it tickled the trees of the forest. Kyoya Tategami looked up as the trees wavered, glaring at the darkening sky.

"Might as well get home, Tess'll freak if I come home after dark," He murmured, thinking of the brunette.

Crack.

Kyoya whipped around, his frosty blue eyes scanning the trees. "Whose's there?" He demanded, pulling out his launcher.

Suddenly, something dark blue and black darted out of the shadows and tackled him to the ground. Kyoya's hiss was muffled as something clamped over his mouth.

The Leone user's eyes were covered, and he felt someone pin him against the tree.

"What the hell..?" Kyoya growled as the hand over his mouth was removed. He see couldn't see, but could tell there were two people in the area.

"Who are you?" A male voice to his right asked. "And where are we?"

"Hey, Tess, have you seen Kyoya?" Nile entered the room, looking over at where she was playing Othello with her cousin.

"He went on a walk in the woods 'bout an hour ago." She said without looking up as she placed down a black piece and began flipping Una's white ones.

Thunder boomed outside as rain started coming down, and hard. Tess looked up, her eyes narrowing.

"I guess he'll be back soon. Lions hate to be wet, after all." Una reasoned.

"I guess."

Kyoya twisted, trying to get the thing covering his sight off. "We're in Japan, you fool. What else?" He snarled.

The person who spoke before spoke again. "So we're not in Sinnoh, then?"

"Course we're not! What is that, anyways?"

"Release your grip, Lucario." The stranger ordered, and someone let go of Kyoya.

Kyoya blinked rapidly as his sight adjusted. Before him wasn't a person, it was a creature.

It kinda looked like a mix of a jackal and human. Two pointy blue eyes pricked up from its head, with a stripe in the middle of the two. The stripe extended to its snout, where it split right and left. The creature's eyes were red, blazing red. Down it's neck it had what looked like a beige shirt, with black "sleeves".

It's arms were blue, until its wrist, where it turned black. The back of the paw had a spike on it. Behind it's head were two...black thingys.(I have no idea how to describe them xD) It seemed to be wearing blue trousers, but it was actually its body. A blue crooked tail twitched.

Kyoya stared in shock at the creature, realizing it was one who had gagged him and such. "What the...?"

"Have you not seen a Lucario before?" Someone asked, and Kyoya's head jerked.

A man in a blue trenchcoat stood in the shadows. A blue hat topped his wild spikey midnight blue hair, and amber eyes peered out from under it.

"No, I haven't." Kyoya squirmed, looking at the bonds that tied him to a tree.

The man shook his head. "What is this...Japan...?"

Kyoya's jaw fell open. "You don't know what Japan is?"

"No. Unless it's a new region, I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Riley." The creature said, its mouth not moving. "We aren't in the Pokemon regions anymore."

Pokemon?

Didn't Tess have a bunch of Pokemon cards?

The man, which Kyoya assumed was Riley, approached the Leone user. He fell silent, closing his eyes.

"You have a very fierce aura. But I sense you have no idea what a Pokemon is." Riley opened his amber eyes.

"Nope." Kyoya jerked. "Mind ripping this bonds...?"

"Oh, yes. Lucario, if you please?" The creature's paw moved quickly, and the ropes fell to the ground.

Kyoya rubbed his wrists as the creature stepped back. "I must ask, but who are you?"

"The name's Kyoya Tategami. You?"

"I'm Riley, the Aura reader and Lucario trainer. And this is my partner, Lucario."

"Shouldn't Kyoya have come back by now?" Tsubasa joined the two girls staring out the window.

"Dunno. He's just that way." Tess sighed, staring out the window.

"Tess! What was that?" Una jabbed a finger out the window, pointing at a flash of blue that streaked across the sky, then faded.

Tess stared at it for a moment, then swallowed. "Personally? I don't know."

Kyoya lowered his hand and stared at the defeated pokemon on the ground. "What is that?"

"A Gabite. Not a big fan of them myself." Riley answered, looking at the fallen creature. "Now, where were we about you telling me of your...what did you call it? Bladebey?"

"Beyblade."

Lucario lowered its paw, clearly interested.

"First of all, what did Lucario just do?" Kyoya stared at it.

"One of it's greatest moves. Aura Sphere." Kyoya tilted his head, remembering the orb of blue, sizzling, crackling energy that appeared in Lucario's paws, and lit up the sky as it hit its target.

Una shoved her hands in her pockets, following her cousin. Yu, Tsubasa, Nile, Tess, and Una had went off to find the missing green haired blader.

"Find anything?" She called, and Tess pushed away a stray branch in front of her.

"Nothing y-Whoa!" Tess stared at the defeated pokemon before them. "It's a Luxio!"

"A what-COOOOOL!"cYu ran to the injured creature. "But why is it hurt?"

"Someone came this way and defeated it." Tess said darkly, then brightened. "That light before it was blue, and..." She frowned, thinking. "Some kinda water move...or..."

Her eyes traveled to the sky. "Or Aura Sphere."

"I believe this is where we depart. I have learned about your type of battling, and enjoyed it, Kyoya Tategami. Thank you." Riley turned to the Leone user, who was looking at the swirling portal in front of him.

"Whatever."

Riley chuckled. "I can tell you're always like this. It was a pleasure meeting you. Lucario!" He called to the black and blue pokemon, but it didn't move.

"What?" Kyoya joined it, glancing at where it's gaze traveled.

"Kyoya!" Una cried gleefully, coming to a stop, panting.

Kyoya's blue eyes skimmed over Nile, Tsubasa, and Yu, who was helping a Luxio walk. They landed on Tess, who was staring at the pokemon next to him.

Tess was speechless...at least for a second.

"OHHMIGGGEEEEEEEERD ITSAFRICKINLUCARIO!!!" She yelled, running up, then staring at it.

Lucario smiled, sensing the girl's love for Pokemon, then offered its paw to shake.

Riley joined Kyoya, turning to him. "But now, Lucario and I really must go."He turned, motioning for the creature to following him. The two stepped into the portal, and their features swirled away, then disappeared althougher.

Yu squealed as the Luxio disappeared in a flash of white light.

"Well, you have some explaining to do." Una commented, looking pointedly at Kyoya.

"I'll tell ya later."

I was playing my White 2 in the car eariler today, and thought of this. I mean, why not? Riley's cool, and so is his pokemon. This s based off my Diamond game, which I'm champion in, so yeah...oh yeah. RILEY THANKS FOR THE EGG THAT LATER HATCHED INTO A RIOLU, THEN I EVOLVED IT INTO ONE OF THE BEST POKEMON EVERA.

Crossover of Pokemon and Beyblade. Why not? And this is titled "Aura's Footsteps" because both Riley and Lucario can read auras :3
