Chapter 1

Some info before we start. Merlin and Peter are both eighteen. Arthur is twenty one, and king. I kinda messed with the timelines but who cares aha. Plot convinience!

I stood at my desk and let out a very frustrated sigh. This was my fourth attempt at making a teleportation device small enough to fit into my web shooters. It has worked for Tony, now when he sets off a certain blast he can teleport to wherever he aims. I was hoping to do the same thing but with my webs.

Alas my Parker luck seems to be against me at the moment. I slump back in my chair and rub my hands over my face, slinging the failed attempt onto the ever growing pile. When it collides with the other metal it begins to beep.

Weird, it shouldn't be beeping.

It gives off a faint red light. Red is never a good sign. My spidey senses are going crazy, telling me to run. But since when have I ever listened to them.

I move closer to the machine and lift it up with a pair of tongs kept below my work bench. It is overheating and whirring like crazy. Definitely not good.

"Friday analyse." I call out to the AI and she proceeds to scan it, putting up the specs on a blue hologram. I read through and drop the machine. Something is very very wrong. The quantum processor is going haywire, drawing too much energy from it's realm. I can't turn it off.

"Friday call Tony." I yell starting to panic. How did this go so wrong?

I could hear Tony's footsteps rushing down the stairs, but it was too late. A gash in the space time continuum opened up and sucked me in. I resisted long enough to see Tony's terrified face before blacking out and getting sucked into the void.

What a great way to end a Monday.

"Do you think he will wake up?"

"I don't know Merlin, he has been out for three days now."

I open my eyes and groggily wipe my face, my arm feeling way too heavy. So much so that I can't lift it off my face. I let out a small groan of annoyance and fought my body to sit up.

Hands are by my side in an instant, helping me to sit up fully. When my arm falls I am staring face to face with a pale, ebony haired boy not much older than I. Maybe eighteen years old. His blue eyes are filled with worry yet relief. I suddenly feel bad that I have caused a stranger such pain. Then something clicks.

"Merlin? Where the hell am I? Where's Mr Stark?" I say frantically, trying desperately to lug myself off the bed. I'm held down by the young man who is a lot stronger than he looks.

"Hey hey calm down. You're in Camelot, I'm Merlin and this is my mentor Gaius. You have been out for three days, we found you on a patrol." All this information makes my head want to explode. I'm in Camelot? As in King Arthur and Famous Warlock...

"Merlin! Oh my god your that famous wizard from the Arthur legend. How the hell did I end up here?" I exclaim, partly thinking aloud. Merlin looks at me as if I have lost my mind, which given where I am is a very good possibility.

"Do you want to get me killed? You can't just go shouting that. Anyway how on earth do you even know I am a warlock." He emphasised the word warlock as if wizard was offensive, maybe it is I have no idea. I pick at the hem of a shirt, that's definitely not mine, out of guilt.

"I learnt about it at school in like fourth grade or something." I mumble. Then something else came to mind. "When you found me, was I wearing a red and blue suit?"

Merlin nodded and handed me the messy suit with much curiosity. I slip the mask over my face and allow Karen to scan my retina. A surge of energy rushes through the suit as it powers on. Both males jump back in surprise when Karen starts talking.

"Peter I was unable to contact Mr Stark. It seems as though we are trapped here."

"Great! What's the suit's power at?"

"Sixty percent. I recommend you activate the solar protocol."

Out of the corner of my eye I can see that Merlin and Gaius look terrified of the 'invisible' woman. I give them a small smile, indicating they have nothing to worry about, but their expressions barely falter. Then I realise they cannot see my face and smiling is completely pointless.

"Okay, activate it." Karen beeps and starts to soak up power from the sun rays seeping in from a nearby window. At this rate she will be fully charged in around an hour. Once I set the suit down I turn back around to the two men and begin to give them a much needed explanation.

"So I am from the future, hard to believe but it's true. I may have accidentally trapped myself here with a science project gone wrong. My name is Peter Parker." I held out my hand and Merlin took it slowly, still trying to figure me out. "Its fine, I mean you no harm." He smiles at that and shakes my hand, Gaius doing the same.

"We should probably tell Arthur you are awake. He was the one who found you after all." I stare at Merlin incredulously.

"Arthur as in Arthur Pendragon? King of Camelot Arthur Pendragon?" Merlin once again looks at me like I'm crazy, but with a fond glint in his eye. God I must sound so strange to these people who have lived like this their entire life.

"Yes, the Arthur Pendragon. Although don't act too in awe, his ego's big enough." Merlin received a slap to the back of his head from Gaius at his statement making me laugh. They remind me a lot of Mr Stark and myself.

He signals for me to follow him and we leave the room. We walk through endless corridors of what I expect to be the palace. It is very grand, but not what I expected. Then again, I don't really know what to expect anymore. My eyes are drawn to every minute detail: the tapestries of animals long forgotten, statues of amour holding weapons that shimmer dangerously under the torch light. Everything is so strange it makes my senses want to explode.

We stop outside two very large, ornate doors. Merlin doesn't knock, just barges into the room startling the few knights in there. I hang back, frozen in amazement. There are large stone pillars lining the sides of the room, wooden doors littered behind them. At the back of the room is a large throne-like chair, seated at the head of the enormous banquet table stretching the length of the room. Around it sit five knights, all brandishing swords and stern glares at the intrusion.

Upon seeing Merlin they break out into smiles and lower their weapons. My heart rate spikes as one of them, a knight with short hair and an impressive build, notices me hiding at the door. He shoots me a small smile and turns to look at the head of the table. I follow his gaze letting my eyes rest on who I assume to be King Arthur. Authority exudes from his person, similar to how Cap has an aura of patriotism.

"Arthur there is someone you should meet." Merlin announced gesturing to me, but I am too busy staring at the King to move. We lock eyes for around two minutes, the room completely silent, before Arthur breaks out into a smile.

"I'm glad you're awake." Was all he said. I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. Damn why do I have to be so awkward. He is a king say something.

"Me too." Okay maybe not that. Arthur chuckled, so did some of the other knights. I feel my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. I was never good in front of a crowd, I always steered clear of press conferences with Tony even as Spiderman

"May I ask why you were in the woods?" Arthur asked, looking at me quizzically. Once again the throne room fell silent, and I looked at Merlin as if to say 'What do I do?' He gave me an encouraging smile so I launched into my introduction.

"My name is Peter Parker, aka Spiderman. Basically I was trying to make a portal jumper for my suit, but I messed it up and made a time machine instead. Which now that I think about it is pretty awesome except I can't get back to my time. I'm stuck here until I can figure out how to reverse it."

Everyone has a completely deadpan look on their face. I turn to Merlin to see if I said something wrong, but he just looked at the floor. One of the knights with curly blond hair stood up and unsheathed his sword. He marched up to me and I froze in terror despite my senses screaming at me to move.

"So you're a sorcerer." He questions, boring into me with his cold stare.

"N-no I'm not. Where I'm from only a few people have magic and it's a different kind from this period." That doesn't seem to satisfy the knight as the sword gets closer to me. In a moment of panic I jump back and stick to the wall. Thankfully the ceilings are high with many small alcoves I can hide in.

"Leon stop you're scaring him." Merlin says, standing in front of the knight. Said knight stares up at me with a mix of terror and guilt on his face.

"How are you doing that." Arthur asked, his voice slightly raised.

"I was - um- bitten by a radioactive spider which gave me spider-like abilities." I stuttered, pushing myself further up the wall. There were wooden beams stretching across the ceiling, so I webbed one and pulled myself up as a demonstration.

Merlin looked impressed, whilst the others just looked confused. I'm not surprised, I doubt many people here have abilities like mine. I mean people back home didn't even have abilities like mine.

"So you don't have magic." Arthur asked, no judgment in his voice.

"No. But even if I did that shouldn't change anything. Either way I mean Camelot no harm. Magic, like my powers, are a weapon. Depending on the person who is wielding it, both can do evil or immense good. Where I am from I use my powers to help people in need, just like people use magic here to heal people." I give a discrete nod to Merlin, silently thanking him. Arthur sits on his throne as if I have just destroyed his moral compass.

"I- wow that is very true." Merlin chokes on air and stares at the King.

"You think so?" He manages.

"Well yeah, it's like you have been saying for years. Every magical attack was fuelled by hatred and revenge for my father. Since his passing, the magical attacks have decreased dramatically." I smiled triumphantly, my Parker charm working it's own magic. I know from the legend that Arthur makes magic legal, and I may have been a part of that. I single-handedly changed the course of history. How cool is that!

"Peter you can come down you know." Arthur states with humour in his voice. I laugh a little and lower myself down. A knight with long brown hair pipes up with a small smirk on his face.

"So Spiderman, what else can you do?" I match his smirk and fold my arms across my chest.

"Well I am very strong, so strong in fact I bet I can beat every person in this room." I stare at each knight, daring them to challenge me. Without a word, the long haired knight drags me from the room and leads me outside to a large training area of sorts. There are shining swords on racks lining the field, as well as a couple of benches and training dummies.

For a moment I am taken back home, to the training room in the tower. I imagine Nat and Clint sparring each other, Tony taking bets to see which one will fall first. I imagine Steve at a punching bag, Bucky throwing knives. I have to fight back the nostalgic tears and pull myself back into reality.

"You ready kid." The knight says, throwing me a sword. I take it and plunge it into the ground.

"I don't need this." Mutters ripple through the crowd that had formed, as the knight shrugged and got into a fighting stance. He lunged forward and threw predictable thrusts with the blade. I dodged every single one and ended up behind him. I kicked his knee and he toppled to the ground. I sit on his chest and smile innocently at him.

"I'm Gwaine." He says in slight awe. I laugh and pull him up.

I look out into the crowd with a new found confidence. "Anyone else?" I offer cockily. Arthur steps forward and the crowd erupts. I hear Gwaine bet three tankards of mead (whatever that means) that I will beat Arthur. Everyone around him disagrees.

I'll show them.

"You ready to lose to an eighteen year old." I say with a smirk.

"You can't address me like that." He says with a laugh.

"Sorry. You ready to lose to an eighteen year old my lord." I hear Merlin crack up behind me, only fuelling my ego.

Arthur moves forward, fighting with a grace I was not expecting. It took me longer than Gwaine, and I did have to use my webs at one point, which Arthur thought was cheating. I however said it was clever, to which I almost got impaled by a blunt sword.

The fight ended with Arthur in the same position as Gwaine, my foot on his back. The crowd was a mixture of awe and what I can only describe as 'Surprised pikachu faces.'

"You have skill Peter. You would make a great knight." Arthur complemented, getting up. I tried to smile, but it clearly didn't work as Arthur suddenly turned worried. "What?"

"Oh no it's nothing. Just, I can't stay here. I need to find a way to get back home." I can't keep the tears back. The looks of worry become too much and my senses start to spiral. The sun becomes ten times brighter, and I can hear every insect in the grass. I was going into sensory overload in a place I barely knew. With no medication to stop it.

"Peter you okay?" Merlin's voice is like a foghorn in my ear, but I know he is whispering.

"No - too bright - head hurts." My knees give way and I curl into a ball on the floor, tucking my head into my knees. Despite the efforts to get me up, I stay rooted to the grass.

Eventually I pass out from the pain.

Long one to begin with! This is pretty much exactly the same as the first part of my one shot, but I will be adding more to the story as I felt I didn't do it justice before.

Until next time!
