Zira

Zira's P.O.V.

"Here, have some tea." the blue haired woman said happily, handing me a small white cup. I blinked, snapping out of my trance and shyly accepting the cup. "Oh, uh, thank you." I said. The aroma was surprisingly enticing, definitely not a flavor I recognized. I took a second to inhale the scent before taking a test sip. I immediately winced, not expecting it to be so flavorless. It was as if it barely lingered in the beverage.

"Are you sure you're okay? That was kinda a nasty crash back there." the main in the orange g replied, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. I shook my head.

"I'm okay, really. I just wasn't expecting to crash like that."

Everything happened so fast. One minute, I'm flying past a planet called Earth, just drifting through space in my small shuttle. The next minute, an asteroid strikes the shuttle's thruster and causes me to crash. And now my rescuers had brought me to this strange city, in a building called Capsule Corp. Now I sat quietly on their couch in what I assumed was their living room, being looked at curiously by a few people.

"How could you let an asteroid hit your shuttle like that? You realize you could've been killed." the shorter man spoke harshly. It seemed like his words were suppose to cut into me, but they didn't phase me that much.

"I apologize. But for some reason, it didn't appear on my radar. It's possible there was a problem with it." I admitted. I didn't really look at the shuttle very carefully before leaving the space station. It's possible it had many problems with it, especially since it's so old.

"Well what matters is that you're not hurt. It's good to see you're okay, miss....uh, what's your name again?" the blue haired woman asked. I perked up.

"Oh, I apologize, I haven't been around people in so many years, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Zira. It's a pleasure to meet you all." I said. The blue haired woman smiled. "Glad to meet ya too. I'm Bulma, and this would be my husband, Vegeta." she stated, referring to the short man. "And I'm Goku! Nice to meet ya!" the man in the orange gi stated with a goofy smile. My eyes widened, surprised to hear both names.

"Vegeta? Hold on....as in Prince Vegeta? Of planet Vegeta?" I asked. All three of them looked at me surprised, but shortly Vegeta smirked.

"Of course. Who else would dare take such a title?" he stated matter of factly. Wow, so King Vegeta must've had a son. How fascinating. Although, I don't understand why he's here on Earth and not with his father.

"So then, you're a Saiyan? All of you?" I asked, looking around the room. Bulma shook her head. "Not me. Goku and Vegeta are. But I'm something called a human, originating from here on Earth." she stated. I see. That would make sense why I sense immense power levels from both Vegeta and Goku, but not from Bulma. "Are there more Saiyans that live here?" I asked.

"I'm afraid not. Well, I mean, there's my two sons, and Vegeta's son. But their both half Saiyan and half human. The two of us are the only full blooded Saiyans." Goku explained. I couldn't help but be even more puzzled. Why would two Saiyans stray from their home planet, and live their lives here? Not that this seems like a bad planet. In fact, it seems quite peaceful. Surprisngly, I didn't see any signs of the Frieza Force here.

"....and the Frieza Force hasn't conquered this planet then?"

That's when they really looked at me strangely, as if they hadn't even heard of it. Or at least, that it shouldn't be a concern. "Uh, you do realize those guys were taken out years ago. They don't bother anyone anymore." Goku stated. My eyes widened, and I looked down at my tea cup, my surprised expression reflecting off the beverage. So then, my planet is free from his grasp. That's wonderful! I wonder though....does that mean Lord Frieza has perished? That's the only explanation if the empire really is no longer a threat. It's too bad....he had the potential to change....

"I think it's time we asked a few questions about you." Vegeta's stern tone snapped me out of my thoughts. He crossed his arms across his chest and took a few steps towards me, eyeing me suspicously.

"Just who exactly are you? Where did you come from? And how could you not know the fate of the Frieza Force?" he demanded. Despite his tone, I calmly looked up at him.

"Oh, again, I apologize. I suppose I should put some things into context. You see, I'm from Planet Vegeta as well. I'm very much a full blooded Saiyan." I stated. Vegeta suddenly gasped, eyes widening. Goku straight up jumped in surprise.

"WHAT?! Hold on, you're a Saiyan?! Really?!" he cried. I nodded. "That's correct. Although, during my time, at least half of my life went on while King Cold still ruled the planet. It wasn't until I was about 12 that his son, Frieza took over. But shortly after, I....I was removed from my home planet." I explained.

"Whoa. Okay then.....what happened next?" Bulma asked, now just as intrigued as the other Saiyans. I looked down, eyes narrowing. Briefly, some of my memories started to flash in my head.....making me visibly tremble.

"....well, the short version is that I was kept in a lab for awhile. I didn't escape till I was 28. After that, I found a nearby space station, and went under a frozen slumber in a chamber pod. And I remained in slumber for 30 years." I stated.

"30 YEARS?!" Goku and Bulma cried.

"Yes. So, you see, I have no idea what history has taken place in the galaxy for the past 30 years. I had no idea that the Frieza Force was taken down. It was only a couple weeks ago that I awoke from my slumber, due to the space station's power core being damaged. Since then, I've kinda just been drifting through space." I replied. All three of them remained silent, taking in my story. I sighed. I understood this was a lot to process. I gave them the time they needed, taking a few more sips of my tea. The strange flavor was starting to taste better, given the chance to linger on my tastebuds.

"....then, do you know about our planet? About it's fate?" Vegeta asked slowly. He suddenly eyed me very carefully, watching my reaction. I blinked, puzzled, but shook my head.

"No, I don't. However, if the Frieza Force really has been taken down, then I imagine our fellow Saiyans are living very peaceful lives now." I stated. Vegeta gawked at this, his jaw dropping. He seemed almost frozen in place. I hardly noticed however, and continued to speak, smiling happily.

"It's been a very long time....I imagine my family is very carefree right now. They no longer have to live in fear. I wonder how much the planet has changed these few decades? I bet my sisters are so big now...." I said. I failed to realize the sad expressions the three had. They were quite conflicted, unsure of what to say. After an awkward moment, Goku suddenly spoke up.

"....do you, uh, ever plan on going back to Planet Vegeta?" Vegeta glared at him in shock, as if mentally shouting he was a fool. However, I nodded.

"Of course. I imagine my family is very worried about me. Although, that time won't come for quite awhile. I have some....personal issues I need to solve through first." I stated. Again, there was only silence. That was until Bulma spoke up with a smile.

"Well, uh, if you'd like, you're free to stay with us here on Earth!" she quickly piped up. I looked at her surprised, pushing some hair back. "Oh, uh, that's very sweet of you to say, but I'm not sure....I don't think I should. I don't want to be a burden-"

"Don't be ridiculous! We'd be happy to have you here! You can stay in our guest bedroom for as long as you'd like!" she stated. "Yeah, come on, it's better than just drifting through space endlessly right? Besides, I'm sure you'll like Earth! There's lots of neat things here! What do ya say?" he stated. I looked at him unsure, placing a hand on my chin. This planet did seem peaceful and beautiful. And everyone here was certainly nice....I could see the light in their souls.

"....okay. As long as you're sure." I said.

"Great! Trunks! Goten!" Bulma called. Suddenly two small boys entered through the balcony entrance, looking at her curiously. "What's up, Mom?" the purple boy asked. "Show Zira here to the guest room. She'll be staying with us for awhile." she stated.

"Okay, no problem!" the purple haired boy stated. The boy who looked like Goku came up to me and took my hand. "Come on! It's this way!" he stated. I chuckled and stood up from the couch, following the two boys down a nearby hallway.

Once the three were out of the room, Bulma sighed.

"I don't believe this....that poor girl...."

"Well, what do we do?" Vegeta stated harshly, clenching his fists. "Here she is, speaking of a thriving Planet Vegeta that doesn't exist! What are we waiting for?! There's no way we can keep this from her!" he stated. Despite his words, he didn't believe them himself. Telling her the truth meant crushing what seemed like the only thing she had left in her life. That's a burden no one wants to bare. Goku sighed.

"....I don't like lying one bit. But, I mean, maybe we don't have to tell her. Not yet anyway. Maybe she doesn't need to know till....I guess when the timing is right." he admitted. He wasn't sure what else to do. This was a very strange and touchy situation. He didn't know how to handle it. Vegeta clenched his fists even tighter, never feeling more conflicted in his whole life. However, he eventually sighed in defeat.

"....if this is really what we're doing, we need to tell the others."
