Battle of the Gods Pt 2

Beerus's P.OV.

At the moment, Goku struggled to push back my Hakai blast with his own Kamehameha. I could feel it, he was doing all he could to push it back. I couldn't help but smirk. It would seem he's finally at the limit of his power, and all I wanted to do was crush him while I could. Even so, a part of me felt disappointed that this was coming to an end so soon.

"So this is it....is this really the limit?" Goku said through gritted teeth, his voice strained The Hakai blast pushed closer and closer towards the Saiyan, and I thought for sure it would hit him. However, he gave a loud roar and forced it back towards me, making my eyes widen. He still had this much energy?! Dammit....

I growled and continued to push the blast back, feeling a dark aura surround my body. It became too much for the two blasts, and it started to form a yellow, electric blast. I could tell right away it was unstable, and who knows what would happen if it exploded. But I didn't care....I just wanted to defeat Goku.

"I must say, you've done much more than I expected, Saiyan! But this battle is coming to it's end! I'd say it's time for you to cut your losses and give up!" I stated. Goku glared at me, the fierce determination in his eyes piercing through me.

"NEVER!! I'll never back down, no matter what!" he cried. The two of us continued to push even harder, trying hard to overpower the other. The ball of energy started to shake and tremble violently, sparks shooting off it. Just when it seemed like it was going to explode....something red shot between us, and suddenly the ball of energy disappeared from sight. Goku and I froze, dumbfounded.

"What the....what just happened?!" Goku said.

I glanced to my side, eyes widening in shock. The red being we saw....was coming from Zira's powerful red aura. Her white hair flowed around her as she held the ball of energy in her hands, struggling to keep it maintained. I growled, clenching my fists tightly.

"HEY! What the hell do you think you're doing?! We're in the middle of a fight here!" I snapped. "Zira, let that go! It's too powerful to hold! It's too dangerous!" Goku quickly said, seemingly panicking. However, the Saiyan woman ignored us, and kept the ball of energy at bay. Eventually, she closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. A red aura now surrounded the ball of energy, and started to change into an fiery, orange color. Then, within another few seconds, the energy finally disappeared, vanishing into thin air. Goku and I gawked in shock, our jaws simulataneously dropping.

Did she just....did she just do that?! How....how could she do that?! That was the power of not one god, but two gods she just eliminated! Hardly any mortals can even handle it the way she did, much less make it dispense peacefully like she did. I was about to bombard her with questions I demanded to be answered, but flinched upon seeing her harsh glare at us.

"What the hell are you two doing?! Don't you realize that if you keep this up, you're not only going to get yourselves killed, but also destroy the entire universe?!" she snapped. Goku blinked, seemingly surprised.

"Huh? What are you-"

"Don't tell me you haven't noticed! Your collisions and energy blasts are so powerful and unstable, that they've been causing ripples of power throughout the universe! If this keeps up, you'll end up shattering the universe!" Zira stated. Goku's eyes widened, and he looked to his hands. "Holy crap....I didn't realize I was that powerful! That's so awesome!" he cried, his expression lighting up like a child.

"*sigh* Goku, right now, that's not the point...." Zira said, placing a hand on her forehead. I again growled, pointing at her angrily.

"Shut up! Look, I don't care about some stupid ripples of power or whatever, no one dares to interrupt a god's battle! So if you've got any brains left in that tiny skull of yours, you'll leave! And be thankful I'm letting you leave with your life in tact-"

"And you're lucky you haven't caused any damage to our universe yet," Zira snapped back at me, "It doesn't matter how badly you two wanna fight each other! You need to think about the other lives you're putting at risk, including your own! This fighting needs to stop!" I folded my ears back, baring my teeth. Why this stupid little....who the hell does she think she it?! Bossing around a god like that?! I should put her in her place-

"Hey, how did you even manage to stop that ball of energy anyway? That was a lot of power, and you're only in your Super Saiyan form." Goku asked. Zira blinked, seemingly taken aback by his question. But she eventually sighed, looking to her own hand.

"My emotions....they're causing my power to skyrocket. It's probably because I was so close to transforming into my final form." she said. I blinked, my anger quickly replaced with curiosity. Her final form....I didn't realize she had one. But even if she did, there's no way it could be of the same level of a god. If any other mortal tried to catch that energy ball, they would've been obliterated. So what exactly is this form....?

"You have a final form?! No way, it must be really strong then! Can we see it?!" Goku asked excitedly.

"What?! No, you can't see it! That level of power is dangerous! I can barely control it!" Zira stated. "Aw come on, please! You got me all curious now! Please!" the Saiyan begged, hands clasped together.

"No! It's not happening!" Zira stated.

"Please!"

"No!"

"Pretty please!"

"No...."

"PLEASE-"

"Goku, I won't-"

"I want to see it too." Both Saiyans looked at me in shock. I narrowed my eyes and crossed my arms across my chest, tail swaying calmly from side to side. "No matter what level of power you're on, a mortal shouldn't have been able to make that energy disappear without being destroyed. Yet you managed to do it almost effortlessly. I wanna see exactly what kind of form can handle it." I stated. Zira's eyes widened, seeming hesitant. She glanced down at her necklace, tracing the gem with her fingertips. Finally she sighed in defeat.

"....fine. But I'm not going to stay in that form for long." she stated. Suddenly she ripped off the necklace, and tossed it to Goku. He blinked and caught it. Then his eyes widened.

"Whoa, now I can sense your power level....it feels really strong!"

"I won't wear my necklace while I'm in this form, just so you guys can understand how dangerous it is." Zira replied. Hearing such words only further intrigued me. Zira took a deep breath, and held her arms out to her side. Within a few moments, the red aura around her body started to change color, to a dark purple. Suddenly, her body was enveloped in darkness, and the only thing that could be made out was her slim figure. I was taken aback by the bizarre transformation sequence. I've never seen such a thing like this before....

The blackness started to crack; first from her stomach, then her legs, her arms, and finally her eyes. A piercing bright red light shined brightly through her eyes, and felt a shiver go down my spine. I'd never seen such a look before....

Then, as if she was breaking out of a shell, all the black shattered around her, revealing her new form. Her snow white hair was now a light pink color, and strange, purple stripes covered her body. They were on her arms, her stomach, her neck, and even a couple were now on her cheeks. The only thing that remained the same were her red piercing eyes, watching us silently for our reaction. Goku gasped, eyes widening even more than before. He looked to the necklace he held, then back at Zira.

"Wait, hold on, this thing was hiding your energy, right? But then, why....why can't I sense your energy now?!"

I clenched my fists, feeling a sweat drop stream down the side of my face. I opened my mouth to say the words, but could barely believe them myself....

"....that's because she's developed the powers of a god herself."

Zira blinked, looking to her arm curiously. "Oh? Is that what this power level is called? I only knew it was dangerous. I never realized it was quite that divine." she replied calmly. "No way, but....but how?! I thought you needed that ritual to become a Super Saiyan God!" Goku cried. "It would seem, somehow, she managed to obtain that power on her own. But to do something like that would require a massive amount of training." I stated. Zira sighed, dropping her arm to her side.

"There. You've seen it. Are you satisfied? Now listen, you need to stop this senseless fighting! All you're gonna do it hurt everyone around you!" she stated. Despite seeing it for myself. I thought seeing this form would answer my clouded mind, but I've only been rewarded with more questions. For now though, however, I decided to push those questions aside, feeling a wide smirk form on my face.

"So then....it'd seem I have a new opponent worthy of facing me." That's when Zira's eyes widened, and she looked to me.

"What?! No, I'm not going to fight anyone! I told you, this power is too dangerous! Besides, if what you're saying is true, then if we fight we'll destroy the universe! I won't do that!" she stated. "Aw come on! Do you know how rare it is for me to come across a worthy opponent like yourself?! It's like dangling a piece of candy in front of me, and then no giving it to me! You can't just tease me like that! It's too delicious to resist!" I stated angrily. Zira blinked.

"....I think that metaphor sounds worse than you think-"

"Dammit, just fight me already!" I snapped. "Yeah, me too! I wanna chance to fight as well!" Goku said excitedly. Zira sighed in annoyance, crossing her arms across her chest.

"....look, how about this," she said, causing Goku and I to perk up, "If I can land one attack on both of you, then we all stop this stupid, reckless fighting! We all return to Earth and try to enjoy the rest of the party peacefully. But, if I can't hit either of you, then I'll give you your real fight. Does that sound fair?" she asked. Goku and I looked to each other. I for one, didn't like the sound of this deal. But, seeing the determined look on Goku's face, I knew he already made his decision. I sighed.

"Fine then. But you realize that's gonna be easier said than done?" I said, a cocky smile spreading on my face.

"I guess we'll see. So, who should I attack first then?" Zira asked. Goku chuckled, getting into his fighting stance.

"I'm going first! No question about it!" he stated. Zira's eyes slowly moved to his figure. She didn't seem happy to be doing this at all, but even so, she turned to face him. However, she didn't do a fighting stance like he did.

"Let me know when you're ready," she glanced at me briefly, "both of you."

I blinked, caught off guard by her words. What did she mean by that....?

"Okay, I'm all set! Give me your best-" It happened faster than the blink of an eye. In just seconds, she was behind him, her eyes giving a rather dark look. Goku barely had enough time to have a panicked expression on his face before she chopped at the back of his neck swiftly. He gasped out, his eyes rolling into the back of his eyes before he went limp, his God form immediately fading away. That's when I felt a knot in my stomach, and briefly, I felt an emotion I hadn't felt in years....

Fear

"How did she-"

I blink once, and she's gone. My heart sank, and I barely had time to glance behind me. Her dark eyes met mine briefly. Then came the sharp pain in the back of my neck. All I could do was gasp out before my own vision became clouded into darkness, and I lost consciousness....
