Jacks pov.

I had eaten the veggies on my plate so I shivered and picked at the meat. "Jack you've had enough if you want to stop." Lin said. I nodded and we went back to my room.

"You know when i left on the phone?"
"Yeah?"
"It was mark. And I want to keep quiet about this because he's gonna come visit tomorrow but he's not exactly allowed because your "dangerous" .

I nodded and hugged her. I thought I'd never see mark again. She let go and walked out of the room with a smile. "See you later jacko,"
"Bye lin"
I sigh as she goes. She's super cool.
I thought I'd be alone forever.
I can't wait.

I was sat on my bed in silence because I could barely hear the music they played in the regular ward. That's until I hear my door open. I got exited, expecting to see my boyfriends silly face.
But I didn't.
It was jerad.
He came towards me and I shuffled to the other side of the bed. I seem to have a greater fear for men since I remembered my dad. "Chill freak. You gotta go to lin's office."
He grabbed my wrist and cuffed it to my other. My arms were bear due to the hospitals rules against long sleeves. So he knew that the cuffs were grazing against my cuts. I whimpered.
"Oh shut up and deal with it," great. Don't even get me started on the memories tied to that phrase. That set me off big time. I screamed and pushed him off with my legs. I started to cry on the corner of the room in a ball. My cuffed hands around my legs.
He got quite angry at this. I tried to make myself smaller as my breathing quickened. "Oh my. You are so hard to deal with," then he left. I sniffled as more memories were triggered.

"Just fucking deal with it!!" He screamed into my ear as i lay on the floor taking another beating. I had started to struggle and make noise and he didn't much care for that. He slammed my bedroom door shut as he left. I heard my mum come in from her second job. "I'm hhoomme!" I started to cry again.
"Where's sean?"
"What do I care," dad said narcissisticly. "WHY DO YOU DO THIS DAVID!" She screamed as she ran up the stairs to me. She slammed open my door and i flinched. "Oh my god. Baby it's okay. We'll get away soon. I promise." She calmed me as I cried. My body motionless on the floor.
"THAT LITTLE SHIT'S TO HARD TO DEAL WITH. ONE DAY YOU'LL SEE!!"
I flinched at his shouting but my mum soon calmed me down.

I was only 14.

The world so futile and cold. Never once could I be a kid. Forced to do good in school. I had learned no different. If I fail.
I'm beaten.

Never did I know that a year later the final straw will be tugged and I'd be on the way to meeting the best thing my life will bring.

I was pulled out of my mind by lin. "Shh Shh.  Jack it's okay it's lin. Your okay. Marks here," my head peeped up.
"Yeah. He's waiting in my office. Cmon,"
She took the cuffs off and held my hand as we walked through the regular ward to her office. On the war I saw Allie but she looked scared. I waved but she just walked away. Wowie.
That hurt.
That happened twice again as I was walking. Was I... feared?

Once I got to the office I ran into mark's arms. "H-hey baby. Oh my god. I thought I'd never see you," he wiped my tears and i grabbed his hand and pulled him to my room. He chuckled at my excitement.

Marks pov.

As jack was practically dragging me to his room. I noticed the nasty stares the other patients were giving him, fuck them. He's adorable. He ran to his room, dragging me behind. As soon as he got in he pulled the collar of my shirt and we made out.

What else can I say... we just made out. No dirty touching. Just kissing.
Pure love.

"Hey mark?"
"Wassup?" He looked like he had something to say. "U-uh I just don't like sex. Can we not right now?"
"Baby I know. I wouldn't try anything like that. How's about we cuddle. I brought my laptop for Netflix?"
He smiled his adorable smile and pulled me to the bed. My smile faltered when i saw leather straps on the side bars. I hope they didn't have to use them.

And then we cuddled and watched rick and morty. And for a moment. It all seemed right. I belong with him. He's my one and only.
