Author's POV 

You were at your home alone. Jungkook and Taehyung had gone out for work. It had been a few days, almost a week, since you had seen Chae-yeon. Even though you had laughed at how she was tricked by Jungkook but you had a bad feeling that she will do something. Your conscious never let you rest about how uncomfortable you felt with the feeling of anxiety always lurking around you of Jungkook being safe. You had an instinct that Chae-yeon will make something happen really, really bad. Well, your deep thoughts were interrupted by the door bell ringing. 

You opened the door. And immediately you regretted it. It wasn't Chae-yeon or Jeong-Woo or Mee-Rae. But...

Hwang Hyung-Jae.

Flashback* 

You were walking through the hallway of your high school. Reaching to your locker, you opened it to stuff it with unwanted things and taking books for next class. But you saw a letter ,

"Hey Y/N, meet me at the rooftop after school.

~ HJ."

As soon as read the initials HJ, a smile formed on your face. Your crush wanting to meet YOU. Could the day be any better ?

You went to meet him at the roof top. He was standing near the metal bars that surrounded the terrace. He, to you, was looking beautiful standing there and singing with breeze softly hitting your body.

The beautiful lyrics were soothing and relaxing your nervousness and calming the breezy atmosphere. 

"Hyung-jae... " you softly called over to him.

"Oh.. Y/N." he turned around to see you with a bag on your shoulders and a few books in hand. 

"Hey... I wanted to tell you something." he said making your dropped head rise up to meet his brown orbs.

"I..I..I just wanted to say that, *sigh* I like you a lot. Since the first you entered the school."

"Thank you. I.. I l-like you t-too." you said with a shy smile but fireworks bursting inside your heart.

"Here, take this book. Do write in here a little about yourself and what do you feel about me. Hm? " he said handing you a book.

"Ok.." 

"Give it over to me in a few days because I wanna read what the person I admire the most thinks about me." he said as he walked leaving you flustered. You were literally blushing red and wanted to scream.

"Just wait till I destroy you completely. Y/N" he said to himself while having a creepy smirk on his face. (I want to slap that smirk off. )

But after that day you never returned to school. You never knew about Hyung-Jae's plan and still thought that he liked you. Therefore, you kept the book till date. You felt bad for not being able to answer again but little did you know that it was the best thing that could have happened.

*Flashback end. 

"Hi Y/N.." said the man standing in front of you.

"You ?" 

"Yes, me. Long time no see, right ?"

"Hmm.." you nodded.

"Uh.. It maybe awkward to ask. But do you still have the book I gave you ?"

"To be honest, yes, I do." as soon as you said that his face lit up.

"I'll get it." but you were stopped in your tracks as he held your wrist. 

"I need something else as well." you looked at him confused as he left your hand. 

"You.." he whispered giving you chills in your spine. 

"I...I..I am married." you said showing your wedding ring.

"Uh..ah.. I know. Then at least let me treat you dinner." he said sounding a little disappointed. 

"Ok." 

"Then see you at 8 in XXX restaurant. Bye."

"Bye." You said waving to his back. You knew something was wrong. He wasn't the same as he used to be. His tone was different from what you knew. It sounded a little bit ....

But you shrugged them off to tell him. Jungkook. You needed to tell him that you were going. But none of them picked up the call. Neither Jungkook nor Taehyung. So, you just informed one of the doorkeepers. (Why is Y/N so dumb ? Couldn't she text him ? So what I am saying is that you are not dumb but you actually are. ) 

(At the restaurant.) 

"Hi Y/N. Here !" 

"Hello, how are you doing ? It's basically 5 years straight we met." 

"Yea I know. It's been a while. So, a drink ?"

"Sure." (No !!!!)

"Excuse me! Could we get some red wine ?" he called to a waiter.

After sometime, the drinks were on your table. You both picked up the glass on your sides and you took a sip while he swirled the drink in his glass. But a few sips, and you were already feeling really dizzy. You were already holding your head but you knew it was wine. Your alcohol tolerance was not that bad, especially wine. Until he had put...

something.

Your head was aching bad but you understood that they were strong sleeping pills. Well, you had a few while you wanted to destroy yourself to free the pain of the Lee's torture and you knew how they tasted. Well, you still were tolerant to that. But, you decided to act on to know the reason why he did it. You laid your head on the table and pretended to pass out but were still observing his dirty smirk as he dialed a number. 

"Work done. Chae-yeon."
