Chapter 33
As night settled over the calm waters above, everyone within the base also decided to get some rest. Just like everyone expected, it felt a little unnerving to sleep separated from each other, which caused them to leave their doors open for now. That way they can still call out to each other and have the noises of the base echo around without being muffled. It helped only a little, but it was better than nothing.
Techno laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Quackity was curled into a tight ball on his bed, snoring peacefully once he finally managed to actually fall asleep. The noise was a welcome distraction from the silence, but did little to allow him to sleep himself. Techno's brain was still too worked up to let him rest, jumping between moments that happened during the day and possibly scenarios that could happen depending on their next moves. At the forefront of his mind was his seeming connection to Foolish and how it could either benefit their survival, or cause something terrible to happen. Although he was struggling to see any immense negative effect outside of being dizzy or having little memory blanks.
He turned on his side with a sigh, shoving one of his arms under his pillow as he tried to find a more comfortable position. With no windows in the extra rooms, all he could do was stare at the wall and hope exhaustion would knock him out soon. There was no way for him to tell how much time had passed, no clock, no outside view to see the light change. The only clue was the occasional softening and strengthening of the rumbles from outside, signalling how deeply asleep the leviathans were. Should their rumbles stop entirely, at least one of them was awake and dawn was beginning to light the sky.
And that brought his thoughts right back to both Foolish and the dream leviathan. They really need a name for that one, just so it's easier to talk about them should more visions start happening. Perhaps she already has a name and was willing to tell him? That way he could also make sure it actually was a 'she'. Unless leviathans don't have genders and just reproduce by themselves. The scanner and PDA had described Foolish and Roier as male though... Then again, with only those two around, they had no idea how reproduction or family bonds actually worked for these creatures. You can't exactly define a whole species based on the actions of a single adult and their (apparently) adopted juvenile.
Techno gave another annoyed sigh and finally pushed himself up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. Maybe walking around will clear his head, even if just a little. Maybe even a venture out to his garden, although he would need to brighten the lights for that. Waking up anyone else wasn't exactly on his list of possible distractions. He quietly walked down the hallway, hearing equally peaceful snores coming from the other two rooms. Looks like he was the only one with sleeping problems. That's good, having one exhausted person is more than enough. Maybe he should get checked for Insomnia or other possible reasons why he is having so much trouble falling asleep.
The main room was faintly illuminated thanks to the glowing reef outside, the lights having been fully shut off since no one was staying in it right now. Techno walked over to the window pointing towards the leviathan sleeping area, seeing both of them sound asleep as well. Foolish was sprawled out over the sand, with Roier curled up against his side. A few small fish were swimming around them, most likely picking off pieces of algae or kelp from the asleep predators. Wasn't an uncommon thing to happen, a surprisingly large amount of small fish seem to gather around them every evening.
Techno let his eyes wander, observing the much quieter activity of the reef. It really was beautiful. They could have landed in a much worse spot to settle permanently, at least for now. Even if appreciating the beauty of it still came with the dread of feeling stuck and helpless. It had gotten much better the past week or so, but the feeling was still there.
Eventually his gaze focused back on Foolish, furrowing his brows as he tried once more to recall anything from their connection. He won't be able to train it now, not with the leviathan dead asleep, at least he doesn't think so. The dream leviathan had connected to him in his sleep once, at least he thinks so. The first time he was definitely wide awake. Maybe he should try, just out of curiosity. If his brain goes fuzzy and he zones out, at least his racing thoughts can't bother him anymore.
Sitting down cross-legged right in front of the glass, he leans his head on his hand and just... stares. Focuses all his attention on the leviathan, as best as he could at least. Watching him was actually kind of fun, with how Foolish was sprawled out like a cat, arms stretched out in front of him. Occasionally his hands would lazily curl into fists and open again, reminiscent of a cat kneading biscuits, as his mother always called it. The purring only adds to the comparison. Techno hums, smiling a little when Roier stretched and rolled on his side, pressing more against his father with a happy, but sleepy chirp. They were pretty cute, if you ignore the giant intelligent humanoid aspect about them.
He allowed his eyes to roam over the intricate patterns across Roier's body, the black scales standing out even in the dark of night. Cellbit had mentioned his first instinct had been to name him 'Spiderman' and Techno could understand why. The colour scheme was right, mainly red with blue fins and of course the black web of markings stretching along his body. That would have been a fun thing to tell other people eventually. 'Meet our leviathan friends, Blorp and Spiderman'. As stupid as the name 'Foolish' is, it has grown on him by this point. He doubts he would have grown as fond to the name Blorp.
Techno smiled at the memory of Tubbo excitedly naming the leviathan, then renaming him later after Techno had complained too much. As annoyed and worried as he had been back then, now he could only look back at it with fondness. He had always been so energetic and excited when he could explore new things, no matter if a new blueprint, project or alien species. How could anyone be cruel to such a bright child?
As much as he tried to recreate the earlier two situations which have created the connection, (and his increasing distraction with past memories), nothing happened this time. Nothing in his head, at least. His back started to ache from sitting hunched over, his eyes started to sting uncomfortably as his exhaustion made itself noticeable once more. Which probably was a sign that he had been at this for at least an hour. Maybe this only showed him that forcing a connection won't work, or that Foolish simply had to be awake. Either way, he shuffled back to his room with no progress aside from feeling slightly stupid for thinking this would work.
At least this time when laying down, his brain actively shut down for sleep.
~ * ~
"Should we bring anything other than the laser cutter?" Tubbo was munching on his piece of cooked fish while simultaneously checking his gear and preparing for the trip. He had slept the longest out of everyone, fully knocked out and sprawled over his bed for at least two hours longer than anyone else. Even Techno got up sooner than him. His oversleeping caused everyone to have long since prepared everything while he was now forced to multi-task.
Well... forced was a strong word. No one was making him do anything, really, as they didn't have any time pressure. They were all lounging about the main area while he runs around like a lunatic. "Your light would be a good start, just in case you do have to go into the wreck." Fit was clearly enjoying the show, taking it as payback for yesterday's teasing. Not that he or Pac were doing anything to prevent further comments from the teen, nearly sitting shoulder to shoulder and having shared breakfast, even if Tubbo didn't see that part.
"Light. Got it." He grabbed one of the freshly prepared flashlights that Cellbit had spent almost all morning making, scraping together every piece of copper they had to make sure everyone would have a light. They had also looked into possibly adding to their weapons, but none of their collected resources allowed for much of an upgrade right now. Knives it was... as long as the fish within the wreck remained reasonably small, they should be fine. After all, inside the wreck was the only current place where neither of the leviathans could defend them.
None of the three people having witnessed the corpse the previous day have said as much as a peep about it, since they are planning to enter a completely different part of that section. Hopefully they won't come across any more bodies, although with the amount of people that had been in the ship, it was unlikely that they can evade it forever. Even with Tubbo staying outside and therefore away from possible traumatizing experiences, there was no telling how Pac or Quackity would react to it. Not that Techno or Fit would like it much either, and despite Cellbit's resistance he should not be forced to see more than them.
"Okay I think I got everything! We can leave now!" Tubbo strapped his oxygen tank to his back, grinning at the group. Amused huffs and laughter echoed around as everyone got to their feet and made their way to the airlock, slowly filtering out into the water. The light down in the water was fairly dim today, a heavy blanket of clouds covering the sky for the first time since their arrival. It will most likely rain soon, maybe even storm, judging by how dark the clouds were. None of them have actively gone to the surface yet, but even from down here the waves looked a lot stronger and bigger than usual.
The leviathans both perked up when spotting all the humans gather by the airlock, chittering and rumbling in greeting as they swam over. Techno gently pressed his hand against Foolish's scales, still not quite sure how to feel about his friend right now. Not that Foolish was acting any different than usual, still very much happy and protective. "We want to go back to the wreck today. Hopefully you two won't be too bored there."
Foolish just rumbled in return and happily allowed the humans to climb on his back. As usual, all it took was a tiny tug at his hair and pointing into the direction they wanted to go. It was still a complete mystery why in the world the leviathans allow themselves to be ordered around like this. Or that they even fully understood what they wanted, when all they did was point around and speak in a language neither of the leviathans understood.
"Is it just me or is it colder? It seems colder than usual?" Tubbo was pressed against his side while they travelled, their previous argument and following apology now vanished from their behaviour towards each other. How long it will stay like this is another question. Techno shook his head no, not really feeling that much of a difference. "The water shouldn't be that much colder just because of the weather, since it apparently gets warmed by an underground volcano. That's what the environmental scan said anyways."
It didn't change much in Tubbo's behaviour though, who still shivered slightly. "Foolish will keep you warm while we explore the wreck, just keep close to him. We'll work through it as fast as we can, okay? I'm not fond being out in a storm either, even if we should be safe down here." The teen just nodded, burying himself a little deeper into the leviathan's hair, as if it would ward off the odd temperatures.
Techno looked over to the others, who shot Tubbo concerned looks as well. "Any of you cold?" Everyone shook their heads, some looking up towards the surface to observe the growing waves, as if they hold the answer. "Maybe he's getting sick. Should we turn around? There isn't much of a difference between staying outside the wreck and staying in the base. It's probably safer for you that way." Tubbo immediately shook his head no, stubbornly staring ahead. "I'll be fine. I'd rather wait with Foolish than all by myself."
Logically, there wasn't that much of a difference where Tubbo stayed. They didn't have blankets he could bundle up in, the temperature inside the base was barely different to out in the water, the med kit didn't have anything for regular colds or the flu. A dangerous thought crossed his mind. Was this the infection causing problems? While they hadn't scanned themselves yet, it was reasonable to assume they all caught the same thing Cellbit had. Maybe this was one of the first symptoms.
He pressed closer to Tubbo's side, even pressed a hand against the small part of his forehead exposed by the mask, but he didn't feel any warmer than usual. He also hadn't been coughing or given any other audible symptom. Maybe they should check him for any visible effects, spots on his skin, shifts in colour. Just to have any kind of idea what they might be dealing with. It was obvious Cellbit on Tubbo's other side was having similar thoughts, looking the teen over with a worried expression, even as the teen pushed them both off with an annoyed huff. "Maybe we should turn around actually, the wreck can wait-" "No." Tubbo turned and glared at him. "We made these plans, we are sticking with them. I'm fine."
Techno was ready to start arguing that his health was more important than resources, but Cellbit shook his head no, mouthing 'later' over Tubbo's head. He didn't like it one bit, but the wreck was coming into view and at this point it was obvious that the teen was going nowhere. So he just sighed and looked ahead again, not saying another word about the topic. Foolish will keep him safe while they explore. And as soon as they are done, they are going back to base. Everything will be okay... hopefully.
Foolish settled down by the same spot as before, the dark entrance into the wreck looking a lot more threatening in the dim light than it had done before. The group equipped themselves with knives and their flashlights, Cellbit swimming ahead with the laser cutter. Techno turned to Tubbo one last time, watching him stay pressed against Foolish's scales, absentmindedly twisting strands of hair together. "Stay with him. We'll be back as soon as possible." "Yeah yeah, you've said that three times now. I'll be okay." Techno grumbled, but turned and followed the others anyways.
Instead of entering through the already existing breach, they went up a little bit and began cutting their way through the outer hull. Techno wasn't sure if their laser cutter was even able to reach all the way through the outer plating of the wreck or why in the world they wanted to enter through a random wall, but Cellbit seemed determined to enter through this specific spot. Maybe he remembered some part of the layout, who knows. Techno sure as hell wouldn't even be able to tell the what part of the ship this piece belonged to.
Finally, after what felt like a solid five minutes of cutting, the plating fell away, exposing the pitch black interior of the wreck. Surprisingly, the inside was already flooded with water, despite having seemed to be fully blocked off. There must be hidden entrances then, or just a lot of small holes scattered around. "So... any volunteers?" They exchanged glances, before Techno eventually turned on his flashlight and swam inside. Why he went first, he didn't really know. Seemed appropriate to take the lead, even with his racing heart and what had happened the previous day.
The hole led into a short hallway, a closed door on each side that locked them in. "Just a hallway, we're good!" Pac poked his head in, using one hand to pull himself inside while his legs paddle lazily, the others following close behind. "Good thing we brought the laser cutter huh? A lot of the wreck is probably locked up." Techno hummed in agreement, deciding to just go ahead and pick the door on the left. There were no indications where it leads, no signs or hallway markings. "Cellbit?" The Brazilian was there in an instant, starting to cut through the dented metal of the door.
Once again, the other side was already filled with water and darkness. Cellbit shone his flashlight through, finding only a large room and more sealed doors. All the furniture was crushed and destroyed, but the design on the walls showed it to be another common room. Although the layout seemed wrong, there should have been a long hallway with quarters attached to it. "Nothing useful here, just pick a new door to cut through."
Slowly, they cut their way deeper into the wreck, each opened room or hallway empty of any useful items. The only indicator of time passing was the slowly ticking oxygen level, causing an always present thought about making sure where they are and how to get back outside once the level got too low. Getting lost in here was probably the biggest danger, that or getting full on stuck somewhere. All of the dangers include suffocating, really, since they haven't encountered anything alive outside a few small fish that manage to slip through the ventilation shafts or cracks in doors and walls.
Finally, the next cut open doorway led into a huge open space, caused my multiple floors collapsing into each other. A maze of hallways extended into every direction. "Well if there is one section we will get lost in, it's this one." Fit shone his flashlight around, scanning the walls for any helpful marks or writings. Only white and blue greeted him, none of the signs that used to map out the whole ship. This was really starting to become frustrating. "Can we mark our door with something? So we know which one leads to the entrance? Preferably something that curious fish won't try and steal." He looked back at the group, checking if anyone had something they could spare.
Quackity opened his mouth for a second, then closed it again. After a second of hesitation, he began to awkwardly remove the soaked beanie from his head. "Get some cable or something from the wall, we can tie this to the doorway." Techno nodded and looked around for exposed cables, but Pac beat him to it. He swam over to the edge of the collapsed floor and began pulling out a cable, grunting a little with the effort of ripping it out. Fit was already on his way to help when it finally gave way and the Brazilian came back to them, grinning. "This enough?" "Should be, thanks."
While Quackity was busy securing the beanie, Techno looked around the giant room once more. Something odd tingled in his chest, a mix of fear and... recognition? Something familiar... a gentle pull. Almost like... "We're not alone." The group stilled, frozen in place as he slowly let his light glide over the walls. Why did he feel so watched? Not by some random fish but... actively perceived. Stalked. Hunted? "Techno-" "Shhh." His gaze kept travelling, until something flashed in the corner of his eye.
A small, bright blue light.
As his light slowly swung over, it revealed smooth, jet black scales and a single glowing eye. It was the same fish they had encountered the previous day. Same scarred eye, same markings on its fins. And once again, even as Techno's light revealed it, it did not move. "Just a fish, I thought it was something worse." Pac hovered just behind Techno's shoulder, watching the fish with a slightly tilted head. "Why is it just staring at us?" He shrugged, honestly not sure. Many of the creatures on this planet behave strangely.
"We saw this one yesterday. It also just stared at us. Maybe it finds us interesting, I don't know." The strange tingle in his chest continued, only getting more prominent the longer he looked at this fish. There was this strange fuzziness at the back of his mind, almost like when he tried connecting to Foolish... Was this fish connected to leviathans? The dream leviathan had mentioned a guide of sorts, although she had said he would find the guide deeper down. At least that's what he remembers.
Curiously, he extended his hand towards the fish, waiting for it to do something. He could hear the others murmuring around him, but didn't pay it any mind. Not yet at least. The fish stared for a long moment longer, already making Techno feel stupid for acting like he could just demand pets from a fish. But then it slowly swam towards him, until smooth scales press against his hand. He let his hand glide along its back, tracing the dorsal fin. "Hey there... do you have something for me?" His voice was a low murmur, not wanting to startle either the fish or his friends.
The fish, surprisingly, answered his question with a quiet chirp, sounding oddly familiar to the noises that their leviathan friends make. Then it turned and swam towards one of the hallways, before patiently waiting by the entrance. Techno glanced over his shoulder at the others, pointedly ignoring their wide-eyed stares. "Guess that means he wants us to follow?" Fit was the first to regain his composure, taking Techno by the arm. "We do not just gloss past the fact you just did that. What just happened?"
Techno shrugged. "It's similar to what I felt with Foolish. We stared at each other, my head went all fuzzy, figured it might mean something. I don't know if they actually understood what I said or if its just a subconscious thing." His friend blinked, trying to find a suitable answer for receiving that piece of information. "So you just... talk to fishes now? Like all of them?" That, he wasn't sure in himself. It might as well look like it, from the outside. But he had another theory that might explain why this fish was so special.
"I think this one is connected to a leviathan. Like I am. The eye... it has the exact same glow as the second leviathan from my dream. Well, I'm not sure if that one was a leviathan, but I think it was the guide she spoke of." The whole group was staring at him now, all with different levels of confusion and worry. "I know it sounds insane. Its just a theory really. But he obviously wants to guide us somewhere AND he came to me when I called him. That has to mean something, right?"
Silence hung between them for a moment, as it usually does whenever new abilities of Techno seem to pop up. Which in itself was already happening far too often, if you ask him. Then, with a slightly steadier grin, Fit squeezed his shoulder. "If this kills us, I'll haunt your ass." Techno snorted, lifting his hand to squeeze his friend's arm, the familiarity of it easing some of the tension. "Wouldn't expect anything less from you."
Techno turned back to where the fish was still patiently waiting, now moving to follow it. Fit stayed close behind him, as he promised, the others following as well. The moment they got close enough, the fish disappeared into the hallway. And while they swam, Cellbit decided to start up his theory talk again. Just to keep them all occupied in the otherwise supressing silence. "I wonder how the connection works as a whole. How many creatures are there that are connected to leviathans? Is it just an ability leviathans have or is it something more? Is it like a hivemind? You were able to sense the fish, so you aren't just connected to the leviathan itself. Plus, if we fully count Foolish, then you have connections to two leviathans, not just one. Roier also reacted to your dream, so maybe even three."
All questions that Techno would love nothing more than to have answers to. But as it currently stands, they couldn't really figure out any of it. Not saying that it will stay like that, with Techno's hopeful growing progress in figuring out his abilities. "I'll keep trying the connection with Foolish. Maybe we'll get some information on that." Cellbit hummed his appreciation, turning to Quackity to discuss one of their earlier leviathan mind connection theories. While he expected this type of investment from the Brazilian, Techno was rather surprised that Quackity had become his research partner, in a way.
Finally, the fish stopped in front of a sealed door, swimming in lazy circles while it waited for the humans to catch up. "This is it?" It chirped, circling around Techno, brushing against his arm. He looked back at Cellbit, who took the signal and began cutting the doorway open. The fish remained by Techno's side while he did so, despite curious noises and even small pokes from the other humans. Fit even gently nudged against the side of it's head, but it barely reacted. Quackity waved a hand in front of its face, also getting nothing. "This one is definitely connected... acts just like you did."
If he was this unresponsive during his connection, he wasn't quite sure how positive it actually is. He could easily get hurt or straight up drown if the connection happens outside of the base. Not that Foolish would allow him to get hurt, but he doubts the leviathan understood that he couldn't breathe underwater. Or that he could understand what was happening when the oxygen in his tank ran out.
The door sank to the floor with a muted clang, snapping him back to reality. Right, they had a mission. As soon as Cellbit moved aside, the fish darted forward and disappeared into the darkness. "Well, after you, mister fish-whisperer." Techno huffed and poked his tongue out at him, before moving ahead and following their new companion. Hopefully this wasn't an elaborate plan to get them killed. Small species can get quite creative to catch larger prey.
The room was large, pillars supporting a high ceiling that was partially caved in. There were walkways criss-crossing throughout the room, only a handful of them still intact, most broken. And scattered throughout the three tiers of the room were lockers and chest in surprisingly good conditions, aside from being thrown around. This was definitely not part of the crew-quarters, he would remember that. Was this part of the storage system? How had he never seen this before?
"Holy shit..." Fit joined his side, swinging his flashlight around to take in the amount of possible resources they could find. "I'm assuming you haven't seen this room either?" He shook his head no, eyes roaming over the rows of lockers. Pac soon held on to Fit's shoulder, humming softly. "How are we supposed to carry all of this? If they are filled, we don't even know what is in there." That is true, for all they know all resources could be either destroyed or gone bad with time, if it were food lockers. "We'll just have to take multiple trips. That's why we marked the way."
Techno moved towards the first locker, but was stopped halfway by the fish starting to circle him with a series of high chirps. "What? What do you want?" It circled him again, then swam down towards the bottom of the room, disappearing between a few of toppled over lockers. He glanced back at his friends, who shrugged in response. None of them know what the fish's goal was in leading them here. He sighed and followed the fish, grabbing his knife tighter just in case. Without proper communication or confirmation that this is also a leviathan bound creature, they couldn't be fully trusted.
The moment he reached the pile of lockers and pointed his flashlight inside, he screamed and dropped it, backing away immediately. Within seconds multiple sets of hands were across his shoulders and back, pulling him back a little further. Their voices jumbled together in a mess of questions and reassurances, trying to both help him stop shaking and figure out what had scared him. Eventually, Cellbit pried himself away from the cluster and decided to investigate, looking into the darkness beyond the lockers before Techno could warn him.
Cellbit stilled, but didn't scream. Didn't flinch. He just gave a quiet, sad 'Oh'.
Staring back through the opening were two empty eye sockets, all flesh gone to expose the bleach white bone beneath. The body was half stuck underneath one of the lockers, some bones even crushed. It was impossible to tell if they died on impact or if they drowned in their prison. "What's in there?" Pac tried to join him, but the other Brazilian gently pushed him back, shaking his head. "It's a corpse. Best if you don't look at it." Pac shrunk back a little, nodding slowly. At least he wasn't trying to put up a fight.
"Why would the fish try and show us a corpse? Pretty sure it's smart enough to know it's dead." Cellbit shrugged and turned the flashlight back into the opening, trying to see if he spots anything useful. There has to be a reason they were led here. The fish circled over the body, chirping again. "I don't know what you want! Be more specific!" It stared at him, as if just realizing that he wasn't Techno. And even then, Techno can't understand what it wants to say anyways. "Come on fish, actually show me what you lured is down here for. You can't possibly have done all this just for us to look at a dead body."
It continued to stare at him for a moment longer, before finally turning and settling beside the body, nudging continuously at something that was poking out from beneath. Cellbit frowned and shifted his body, reaching into the space as far as he possibly could. His fingertips barely brushed against the arm of the body, making him shiver a little. "Shit... I can't reach that far. We need to lift one of the lockers." Fit hesitantly moved to help him as well as Quackity, with both Techno and Pac huddled to the side, absolutely refusing to go near the corpse. Techno did feel terrible that Fit had to help, who had reacted just as strongly when they had found the previous body.
Cellbit pointed him and Quackity to one of the lockers, the one that will hopefully get him enough space to fully reach through once it's up. They set up on either side with their feet firmly planted on the ground, trying to find proper points to hold on to. "Ready?" Both nodded and as soon as Cellbit gave the signal, they tried and lift as high as they could. The metal squealed a bit as they moved it, mixing with the struggling huffs and grunts as they tried their best to get it as high as possible. "Hurry up and grab it!"
As soon as the gab was big enough, the Brazilian pushed himself into the new opening and reached for the object. With the way it was wedged under the body, he was forced to push it to the side a little, exposing some of the chest area. Aside from the obvious bones, the actual suit it was wearing was almost full intact. The moment it was turned, a glittering emblem on it's chest caught his attention. He knew that symbol... why were they down here and not up in the bridge of the ship? "Cellbit!"
He snapped back to attention and moved to grab the object instead, then pushing himself out so his friends can let go of the locker. Quackity yelped when it eventually slipped from his fingers and the combined weight also ripping it out of Fit's, but by then he had already pulled clear of the opening. "Sorry! Sorry!" "It's fine, I'm fine. Those things are heavy, I know." Finally, he fully rightened himself and looked down at the object he had just grabbed. It... was a PDA?
The others gathered around him, staring in confusion at the slightly cracked screen. "This is what we just risked squishing Cellbit for? A random PDA? Hardly seems worth it." He just frowned and tried to turn the PDA on, the screen flashing and glitching, probably having taken too much damage during the crash. Techno gently ran his hand along the back of the fish again, leaning a little closer to the screen. "There has to be a reason we were supposed to find this." After another flash, the image finally stabilized and allowed the access to the starting screen. And it confirmed Cellbit's suspicion.
"This is the PDA of Antoine. That body... that's him. I saw the emblem on his chest." If Techno remembered correctly, Antoine had been second or third in command, definitely high ranking. He'd only met him once during one of the mandatory meetings about resource management during their voyage, making sure they weren't burning through too much food or energy. Antoine had always insisted on wearing this weird beige mask, despite it not matching the dress code at all. How he got that approved was beyond him.
"So... if this is a high ranking PDA... it could have access to all kinds of things." Cellbit was already clicking through various tabs and subsections, giving an annoyed huff whenever it had to actively load for a few moments. "There is so much stuff on here..." Logs, reports, mission debriefs, maintenance and resource division. All of which Cellbit was very interested in reading, but didn't provide anything useful for their current survival or the mission of finding the dream leviathan. Until, finally, he managed to find the blueprint section.
And his eyes went wide.
"Jackpot."
