Intro Scene

"And, she's met these heroes. They've only gone up against him a few times yet they're so persistent. What should we do?" A young woman, who could not be older than twenty seven, told her mother.

"Yeah, these heroes seem to have a thing for protecting people," the older woman agreed. Her daughter gave her a weird look, her eyes traveling from side to side at that statement quickly before a question came up, "how old are they?"

"She told me that they're getting ready to graduate." The younger woman gave her an answer.

"Graduate? From what?" The older woman questioned.

The younger woman's brown eyes wandered around the room before revealing, "highschool."

The older woman sighed, straightening up her dress and fixing her necklace at the same time. She walked down the flight of stairs that seperated her from her daughter.

"Young, healthy humans. How expected...but, not a bad thing." She said.

"What do you mean?" The young woman wondered.

Her mother smiled, "I mean, they're warriors in the making. Not completely experienced, but warriors indeed. We must be introduced to them at once."

"But what about Kent?" Her child quizzed.

"Precisely, we have twenty five years worth of power to utilize. Grooming that will send him into a long, overdue death." The woman explained. She saw the look on her daughter's face. Knowing what was about to come out of her mouth, the older woman made sure to add in, "it's for the best."

"We can't," was the response. Her mother turned away and began walking back up the stairs, "they're not ready for this level of responsibility a-and you know Savannah won't allow it-"

"Savannah has no say in this, remember who is in charge here," the older female cut her child off as she turned back around. She was only half way up the stairs, "and yes they lack in many areas...our areas. Taking advantage now will save the future."

She continued up the stairs. The daughter sighed and shook her head as she crossed her arms, snapping, "it won't work, and you can't control her forever mother."

"It will work and she will stay under my command until I decide she's ready," Elaine calmly but sternly riposted to her daughter. She opened the curtains, "I'm protecting her, Carla, not coddling her."

"Well guess what? She's nineteen, not nine," Carla argued, "when can she make her own decisions?"

"When the appropriate time arrives missy," her mother became a little cold with her. It softened quickly at the next sentence, "after that day I...I can't even speak of it but, there's no guarentee she'll ever be safe with him out there." Carla sighed deeply, not wanting to dig up that story, "We can't risk anything, not one bit. Those Rangers prove to be great candidates for this. After this so called Legendary Battle took place, it's all the galaxy has been babbling on about."

She full faced her daughter, whose arms dropped minutes prior to the mention of the past and ordered, "tell Savannah we need to talk, and I will hunt her down if she refuses."

Nodding, Carla teleported herself out of the room. Once she had disappeared, her mother sat down in her chair, her mind racing on what the outcomes could be.
