Chapter 1
Descending from his home world, the terrorist soon arrived back on Earth. He landed near a bay. His feet touched the sandy dirt as he took a deep breath. The waters were cold and glistening. Looking around, it was probably best that he remained in the shadows since the media was now in the way. And while he doesn't care for pubilcity, it'll be difficult to get what he desires if cameras snapshot him constantly.
"Huh, and I thought my home world was beautiful," he remarked, "hopefully those fools don't ruin what's left of anything good here."
He sighed a little. Taking his time walking, he used his device to look up the events that took place the other night. News reports, camera shots, video footage, basically anything that related to the scene. He even discovered some articles about it. He clicked on one and began to read it.
Harwood Hotspot
Six rangers were spotted downtown facing off with a madman. People surrounded them and grabbed any kind of evidence they could gather. Most of it went viral, with over 2.7 million views alone on a signal vid. It's exciting and scary that a new threat has come to challenge these heroes. We've all banded together in the past, but this guy is a new face we weren't expecting.
"Thank you." Kent took it as a compliment.
We're used to dealing with monsters but, who is this guy? Obviously an interview would be stupid to have since he's not here to play. Niether are these Rangers. Have they handled worse? Is this a bigger, badder foe? What will come of this new problem? Not sure. People are concerned on how their lives will hold up if said villaim comes back to start war. That's why we strongly advise everyone to have a backup plan when and if things go south.
"They're worried about their lives? Heh, no wonder they weren't picked as Rangers." Kent commented on the matter.
Clicking off the site, he did a little hop to jumpstart his fly ability. He began to soar through the air, with ideas racing in his head.

9:32am.
"So this guardian tiki head gave all of you your powers and basically expects you to save the world from EVERYTHING that's thrown at it?" Savannah summarized while the entire team reached the Command Center.
Jake shrugged, "yep."
"Hmph, still not the weirdest thing ever." Savannah responded nonchalantly with a shrug.
"Really?" Emma asked in surprise.
"Been through what I have and things like this seem minor." Savannah told her.
She opened the entrance to the cave and stepped inside to walk ahead. The others gave each other a stare.
"What about this is minor?" Orion whispered, wondering about what the redhead has handled. Jake shrugged again as he and his girlfriend followed the female warrior. Emma and Noah did the same as Orion stopped Troy for a second and admitted, "hey, I've been feeling weird lately."
"Weird how?" Troy asked.
"Weird as in..." Orion paused to look in the cave before continuing, "vibes."
"Vibes?" Troy searched for more detail.
"Strong non-human like energy," Orion clarified, "my Ranger powers must've helped unlock some of my birth given abilities. My people received theirs early, so I'm guessing I'm a late bloomer."
"Are you thinking Savannah is an alien?" Troy queried as he crossed his arms. Orion didn't dismiss it with a shrug, "I mean it would explain a few things but, why her?"
"Why not? I'm an alien and you guys didn't know until I told you. Plus she did say she moves around a lot, that's an easy cover story." Orion answered.
"Hmph." Was the noise used as a response from Troy as he looked down at the sand.
"Guys come on!" Noah alerted them.
Both boys stared back at him as he gestured them to join the others. Troy nodded as the silver ranger turned to face him again.
"Look maybe I'm wrong but, we don't really know anything about her besides her family's business, it could just be a front." Orion said to him.
He then left his leader to meet up with the rest of his teammates. Troy pondered over this possible truth. Savannah, while not a new face, was new in terms of being in the superhero world. Her weak spots were slim and her fighting techniques were impressive, as showed in her fight against Kent. The fact that she had knowledge of him is useful. In fact, that would be part of the leverage the Rangers can utilize against Kent and protect their world.
Although, Savannah remains as a bold faced question mark. She is older than everyone on the team and had faced Kent before. The two have a history that the team is not aware of, making it more likely that there is more to her story. And while you could argue that the red ranger himself is a mystery, she was the book that had never been opened. A clever, strong, goregous covered book.
The thought of that made the eighteen year old smile. He had been doing that frequently when his head was not busy dealing with Kent or how the planet was going to be saved. She had been the reason why. And although he wanted to hold on to that good feeling, he knew better than to allow that to happen, for reasons he would rather keep quiet and personal.
The leader of the Legendary crew eventually caught up with his friends. Regardless of the name of their powers, it was decided that they would go by a new title. Legendary Force. It suited them nicely and they figured it sounded cooler. Looking around the place, the only redheaded girl took the time to view everything. Of course the keys displayed within the walls was something to be seen first. However, Savannah hardly paid attention to them.
"This is my first time being inside of a cave that didn't have vicious beasts or poison induced bats resting around," she commented as she got a great view of the place. The others shot each other a suspicious, weird reaction to that, "and I usually have a difficult time avoiding them."
"Because there's a lot of them?" Emma inquired.
"Because they never get the message. If I slit your neck and watch you die, it means you won't survive if I see you." Savannah corrected her.
"Kent has." Troy remarked, no insulting intended.
"Yeah well, he's the only lucky one. Everyone else...quietly passed on...and is no longer mattered or considered." Savannah replied to that, a dark, scary tone laced in her voice and a dangerous smile.
The soon-to-be graduates, excluding Troy who only raised his eyebrows, went wide eyed. Emma and Jake equally shared silent a gulp at the last sentence while the blue eyed beauty walked towards the front of the room.
"Ooo a new ally! A new friend to help us!" A high pitched, excited voice spoke up.
Rolling past the others, the robot was at the redhead's feet. She looked down and became confused.
"What in the world are you?" Savannah's attention looked downwards, an eyebrow raised.
The group chuckled at her question as Noah came on her opposite side, "this is Tensou, he's Gosei's partner and he's been helping him and us the entire time."
"More helpful than Gosei no doubt." Gia commented under her breath.
Savannah nodded, her lips pressed together as her only response.
"Welcome to the Command Center, and thank you for helping us. I understand that this is a new threat we haven't seen before and it's good that we have someone who has dealt with him before." Gosei's boomed throughout the cave.
"Thanks. So, you're the hawaiian looking statue thingy right?" Savannah questioned.
"I am Gosei, protegé of Zordon, who was the guardian of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and so forth. My task is to assist, mentor, and train the next generation of Rangers into becoming Earth's Mightiest Heroes." Gosei introduced himself.
Savannah only blinked, "yeah that's nice."
Troy and a few of the others chuckled at her demeanor and how she seemed unimpressed. No doubt she was aware of the twenty five year history, however it failed to strike hard enough in her eyes. The aligned rows of powerful keys glowed through the walls, claiming her focus. Savannah had been walking until she reached the Wild Force set and looked up at her new comrads, "you guys use every single one of these?"
"Yup, all of them, we get to choose which ones we either want or need during battles through our morphers. Flipping back and forth between each group helps us maintain our Legendary Mode because after a while, it fades back into Super Mega Mode." Noah informed her.
"It's super fun." Jake added in.
"And a big responsibility, some of these keys happen to be new," Noah continued on, "there are other dimensions that contain even more Ranger power."
"I should know, I had to help some of the newbies with Tommy, Wes, Kat, and a few others. That was an eventful day." Gia included.
"Yeah so we have to keep our power in check. Which is why it's bad that we're on the news now." Troy got to the point of their dilemma.
"It's not good at all," Tensou talked, "it's taking the internet by storm. And the more publicity we get, the more they'll be watching to see who's under the suits."
"Which is why we need a system so we can protect the Earth without being exposed." Gosei said.
"Well...I mean, Savannah went all incognito on everyone so they didn't catch her on camera," Jake brought up, "that means she can't be suspected."
"Yeah, yeah so, I can just be your eyes in the daytime and you guys sneak around at night." Savannah put together.
"Perfect! We'll be able to patrol to see if Kent comes back without being questioned." Emma agreed.
"Okay, Vanni you'll need to contact us through your cell if you see anything during the day. Everyone else, we start tonight." Troy ordered.
No one disagreeing on that decision, the group of teens headed out of the cave. But before completely disappearing, the redhead of the team turned back to the robot and guardian.
"Oh and uh, just so you know, don't expect me to..."morph" or whatever, it's not my style." Savannah finished and threw them a quick smile before running to catch up with the others.
"Well, she's interesting." Tensou commented.
"Indeed." Gosei agreed with him.
