Chapter 27
Hadrian POV

Its been two days since I was taken from Marvolo . Two days which I haven't once ventured out of the safety of this room , but I knew that I would have to come out soon . The Order of the Phoenix as they call themselves decided that if I wanted food I would have to come out of the room.

I haven't let anyone in since that night .Not even the twins. But the lack of food was messing with my body causing me to vomit several times during the day which was odd because I have gone more than a week without food already and it had never happened to me before. I hope I'm not sick ,I do not want to appear weak in front them.

In those two days I have taken up the activities of crying ,smashing things ,pacing ,sleeping ,vomiting and more crying . Now I am bored which lead me to snooping around the room .

There wasn't much . The room clearly wasn't cleaned or used in while since there was dust everywhere and I caught several spiders crawling on the floor and walls.

I was currently going through a the dressers draws looking for something interesting, there was not a single book in this entire room but the word RAB was on almost everything in the room.

I coughed when a wave of dust was thrown in my face due to me slamming the draws closed. I sneezed but moved onto the next draw .

More clothes were in here as well as some underwear and several copies of the Daily Prophet . They were all about the rise of a new Dark Lord . Voldemorts rise . There was nothing interesting in these articles ,I threw them back in the draw causing a pair of moldy socks to move revealing something gold .

Curiosity got the best of me and I reached in and took ahold of what looked like a necklace - no it was a locket with a big 'S' on the front . It was beautiful, I ran my thumb over the locket and let out a startled gasp when a wave pure dark magic washed over me .

I knew that magic ,it was Marvolos . Did this belong to Marvolo ? If so what was it doing here ? I frowned as I looked at the locket and back at the draw where I found it in .I tried opening it but it wouldn't open. Maybe a spell to keep it closed ?

Making my decision I closed the draw and placed the locket around my neck hiding it under my shirt so that no one would take it from me . The locket released another wave of magic before going still .Odd .

I looked around the empty room. I had nothing left to look through . My stomach gave a loud rumble and I decided it was time I get some food in me.

I slowly crept down the stairs and into the kitchen with thankfully was empty . I didn't hear anyone else in the house. That must mean they're out or something. I couldn't even try to escape since I'm not allowed out the wards . I believe the twins when they said that I would be injured if  I tried to leave . I was not in the mood to be I injured .

Looking through the cabinets ,I found some leftovers and since I couldn't do magic to reheat it I would have to just eat it cold .

I quickly polished my plate of before cleaning up my plate and utensils so that no one knew I came down . I walked back up the stairs up I want in the mood to go back to my room . I made my way around the house looking at how dirty the place was and the elf skulls on the walls. A noble house then . It want often that purebloods let the elves head be hung on the walls . The Malfoys had them but in the basement . No one went to the basement not even me .

I looked into many different room all of them empty and not one sign of another person here.  I continued to look around until I came upon what was a library . It was just as big as the Malfoys .

I stood by the door wondering if I should go in or not . I looked behind me to make sure no one was there before stepping inside the room . Its there own fault for leaving me to wonder alone and leaving the doors unlocked.

I let my fingers run over the spines of the books a small smile on my lips . But I froze not a second  later when I saw the title of one of the books . Spirit magic ,secrete of Necromancy.

I couldn't believe it .Quickly I took the book out ,making sure it wasn't a joke .The book was real . I found an arm chair further inside the library and sat down .I needed to read this book its what I've been searching for .

***Time skip****

I spent the next following days the same way . I would stay in my room the whole day ,only sneaking out to get something to eat or go into the library . No one tried to bother me again , the twins would occasionally try and get me to come out of the room but were unsuccessful . The one constant thing was the ache in my stomach and the constant vomiting  , I absolutely hated it .

The only good thing that I got out of this was the information on Spirit magic , but I couldn't even practice it because there was the possibility of them having wards up and finding out about my elemental powers .

All I actually wanted to do was go home back to Marvolo and enjoy being in his arms . Unfortunately we cant always get what we want .
