FANFICTION [CONCLUSION]
We've had three winners for the Fanfiction Category.
Those who wins have their score equal or above 85% (meaning at least 46.75/55).
This is, so far, the highest benchmark I've ever placed on any category. Meaning, we take our hat off and can safely concluded that all the Fanfiction entries that remains until today, through Semi-Final, absolutely deserve their place amongst the Gems.
The following list is in no particular order. I've bold the book title and username, italicize the score, for easier view.
The winner list is at the end of the chapter.
1. Rise by @lol_itsisa
Score: 35
Review: To be honest this story isn't quite interesting for me. I've been trying to find the grip to it but didn't and I do understand where she's going with the story but it needed a more solid storyline, whereas readers would be captured by it and I didn't really got that reaction at all instead I just wanted it to end. Sorry to be blunt but that's my honest review. The author needs to reedit and give the story a more interesting storyline so readers can be able to grasp it and enjoy it more.
2. Erebor's Treasure by @ZoePhillips6
Score: 45
Review: I'm a fan of 'The Hobbit' and I think this author did a great twist with it. It does has a bit of glitches but those can overlook. I has a grip to it quite similar to 'The Hobbit' and I do understand the authors story and its quite interesting for persons who have watched the movie and is familiarized with it. So yeah! It does need some more work but I think the author did a good job! :)
3. The Dragon and the Princess by @No1Natsufan
Score: 51
Review: This story is quite thrilling to read I do love and enjoyed it. Nice grasp and it captured my interest which is a good thing. It was a bit shaky at the prolong but chapters overpowered that thought. And so I really liked the story. Good job @no1natsufa!
4. Seeking Serendipity by @evangingtherealm
Score: 55
Review: Very intriguing story, I loved it. From the every start it held me and I didn't let go. I added it to my library to continue reading it. I really liked the concept of the storyline and it really capture my interest in wanting to continue reading. This author deserve a full score for such a marvelous story.
5. JohnLock2: Recovering the Love by @CarrieGChandler
Score: 53
Review: This story was quite interesting although I'm not a fan of the homosexuality beliefs. But drawing to the third and fourth chapters it got quite interesting and surprisingly brought me to the edge of my seat, actually. I liked the story and the author did a good job at writing such a epic story. Nice work CarrieGChandler!
6. The First Born by @AryaGrimm
Score: 40
Review: This story is a bit, ok. The storyline was a bit rushed and I guess that was the problem why I couldn't grasp the concept of the story. I'd like the author to just relax and think through about a better storyline and rewrite it. The author does has potential but to just plan a better storyline and initiate it in a more interesting way.
Please, applaud for the winners:
