1. You must follow this account @HiddenGemsAwards and my main account Glass_Sword  . Since I'm putting a lot of work into these awards, I think it's only fair.

2. If I catch you being rude to any other contestants/judges, you will not be allowed to participate in this competition.

3. If you are a contestant and are caught bribing/threatening/blackmailing the judges, you will be dismissed from this competition.

4. Only stories written in English are allowed.

5. You can enter up to three books as long as they are all in different genres. You can not submit two stories in the same genre.

6. Both completed and ongoing stories will be accepted.

7. Your story must have a minimum of five chapters, not including author's notes. Prologues and epilogues count. If your book is in the short story genre, you are exempt from this rule.

8. You must add this book to either your library or public reading list. This is so that you can know when this book is updated.

9. Add the #hiddengemsawards2k17 tag to the book you are entering

Who can participate in this award?

Anyone can! The Hidden Gems Awards are open to anyone wanting to get their story out there.

Does my book have to have a certain number of reads to be eligible?

Nope! Your book can have 100 reads or 1K reads - you can still enter it in this award!

Does my story have to be completed?

No, it does not have to be completed. You can enter an ongoing book!

Does my book have to have a certain number of chapters?

Yes, it does. Your story must have a minimum of five chapters! This does not include author's notes. Prologues and epilogues do count.

What if my book is a short story?

Then your book is exempt from this rule.

I am not able to add another tag to my book. What should I do?

If you are not able to add another tag to your book, then you do not need to add the #hiddengemsawards2k17

I am already following 1K people and can not follow any more people. What do I do?

If this is the case, then you do not need to follow this account and my personal.
