It's been 4 months since the time you met Bowser Jr.

You couldn't stop thinking about him...(Not in that way)

You were currently in Acorn Plains. You'd think the bros would be to strict to not let you out too far away, but they knew every place of the Mushroom Kingdom like the back of their hands.

So yeah, you could go wherever you wanted...just be careful and let them know where you're going so they know where to find you.

(What you're wearing)

You were waking around, playing with butterflies and baby yoshi's. Everything was fine, until you saw something in the distance. You went closer and covered your mouth.

It was the boy again, but...he looked injured. He was covered in cuts and had some burns on him. His little cup mobile was smoking and looked damaged.

You were about to run away...but you didn't. You picked him up on your back and dragged the cup with you. You had to find somewhere to heal him.

You roamed around acorn plains, but found nowhere. Then...you knew a place, but you weren't allowed there.

Bowser's Kingdom.

You sighed, it was the only place.

You trekked all the way there, ignoring the koopas and goombas that were staring at you. It was hot and it made you sweat, but you didn't care.

You stopped at a huge castle and looked up.

You sighed and knocked on the huge door.

You heard a rough: 'Come in'.

You opened the door and saw...him.

He was sitting in his throne, looking down a bit. He looked at you and froze when he saw his son.

"Your son...is injured. Don't ask how, I just found him like this. I can heal him...if you let me. Where can I put him?" You asked.

He just stared at you, before pointing to the left.

"Take a left, then turn right. The nursery should be right there." He said.

You nodded and made your way there.

You made your way through the castle and into the nursery. You laid the boy down on the bed and looked for some bandages and ointment. 

Now, you had made medicine before to heal other wounds for others in need. You began to clean the wounds, causing him to wince and whimper. You wrapped up his arms and legs.

The boy groaned and woke up. He saw you and shot up, but regretted it.

"Lay back down. You're still injured." You said, pushing him back down.

You wrapped his arm and ripped the bandage.

"Okay. You're done." You said, cleaning up.

He sat up and looked at you.

"Why...why did you help me?" He asked.

"I...I don't like seeing people injured, especially kids. Even if you are my...rival...I can't leave you to die." You said, looking at him.

He was...lost for words. Nobody, other than his dad and the koopalings, showed him kindness. He looked down at his arms and back at you.

"Who...are you?" He asked.

"Y/n. Y/n Mario. You?" You asked, extending your hand out to him.

"...Bowser Jr." He said, shaking your hand.

"You're not so bad." He said.

You smiled. "You to." You said.

"Well...I better go. I'm not supposed to be here anyway." You said, leaving.

"Wait! Can we...meet again?" He asked.

You looked at him and smiled.

"Sure thing, Bj." You said.

"B-BJ?!" He asked, getting red.

"Well...it's shorter...welp...see ya." You said, leaving the room.

He looked at the door then at the ground.

Had he...just made....

a friend?

You walked out the castle, letting Bowser know that his son was awake. You walked out the castle and ran all the way back to Acorn Plains. You got there just in time, to see Mario and Luigi, looking for you.

When they asked where you were, you just told them you were out adventuring and playing with the animals. You didn't dare tell them about Bowser or his kingdom, afraid you would get in trouble.

You all went home...not knowing....
