And thank you so much for reading^^ btw I just love how the picture above shows how lovely, cute and funny Alice aka Georgie henley is :3

Alice awoke the next morning, feeling refreshed and better. For a short moment she hoped that everything that had happened the day before had just been a dream but a lingering feeling in her stomach showed her otherwise. She sat up and looked around. Both Fred and George were still asleep, tangled up in their blankets. Slowly and silently, Alice stood up and made her way out of the room and into the bathroom, where she put her clothes on. Then she went downstairs, where Molly Weasley was already making the breakfast.

"Good morning, Mrs Weasley," she said to the red haired woman.

"Oh good morning, dear," Mrs Weasley said and walked over to her. She gave her a motherly hug and made her sit on the table. She placed a huge cup of tea in front of her and a very large bowl of porridge. "Eat up Alice, dear. You need the extra protein because we have to go to Diagon Alley today."

Alice looked at her, confused. "Why?" she asked.

"Oh silly, we need to buy your wand and your school utensils," she said happily.

"My school utensils..." Alice suddenly became very quiet. It was probably the way Mrs Weasley acted around her. She still hadn't really processed the happenings from yesterday and now Mrs Weasley was so excited for her to join Hogwarts. Maybe she is just doing it to make me feel better, she thought. "I can't really believe it. It's just that...first I'm a Muggle and then, like poof, I'm apparently a witch. What's wrong with me?" she looked helpless at Mrs Weasley.

"Oh dear, nothing is wrong with you. You are a unique and beautiful girl. You don't have to worry about anything concerning what happened at the World Cup just yet. When Professor Dumbledore comes here, he will explain everything to you, I'm sure of it. For now, let's just look forward to your, hopefully, exciting year at Hogwarts," said Mrs Weasley and looked at her encouragingly.

"Thanks, Mrs Weasley," said Alice and smiled at the woman.

Just as she finished her breakfast, the rest of the family joined them in the kitchen. Fred and George both immediately claimed their places right next to her, while her little sister sat in front of her. Ally looked at her expectantly. She didn't know yet what was going on, but Alice could see that Ally felt that something was different. She took a deep breath and looked at her.

"I'll be joining you in Hogwarts," she said. Ally let her spoon, which she was about to put into her mouth, fall onto the table.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" she said, disbelieve written on her face.

"I said, that I'll go to Hogwarts. Apparently, I'm a witch too."

Ally was quiet for a long moment, than she looked at her older sister. "Is that what happened at the World Cup? You found out that you're a witch?"

"More or less, yes," she said.

A smile made her way onto Alyssa's face. "That's fantastic!" she suddenly squealed.

"But how is that even possible?" said Hermione.

"Your guess is as good as mine. Dumbledore will be coming tomorrow to talk with me. I'm hoping that he can explain what happened to me," sighed Alice.

"I've never heard of something like that..." muttered Hermione. "Maybe I can find something in a book...I'll go looking now. Maybe it helps."

"That would be nice," said Alice, but Hermione was already running up the stairs and into the room she slept in. Ron and Harry were following her.

"Okay, now calm down everyone. Alice has to get ready, I want to go to Diagon Alley with her so we can buy all her things," said Mrs Weasley and clapped in her hands.

"Can we tag along, mum?" asked the twins. Alice looked at them, thankful that they wanted to come too.

"Sure, but now eat up. I want to be there when it's not that crowded."

After just half an hour Alice and the twins were ready to go. They would be going by floo powder, like always, so they stood in front of the fireplace. Mrs Weasley was holding the book list in her hand.

"Okay you go first George, then Fred, then Alice and then I'll go last."

George stepped inside the fireplace with a hand full of floo powder. "Diagon Alley," he said and vanished in giant green flame. Fred and Alice did the same. Alice felt herself being pulled away and she saw thousands of fireplaces spinning before her eye, before she was pulled out of the right fireplace and into the leaky cauldron. She brushed the dirt of herself and looked at the twins while Mrs Weasley came after her.

"I'll go and buy the books. Here is some money, go and get your robes at Madam Malkin's," said Mrs Weasley and gave her some of the money Alice had given her in the beginning for the books.

Alice nodded her head and was led away by the twins, who showed her the way to the shop.

Alice stepped into the small shop and looked around. It was rather empty, onlytwo people were currently in it. Madam Malkin immediately went to the new customers and greeted them friendly.

"What can I do for you three?"

"Oh, we don't need anything," said Fred.

"Yeah, it's Alice who needs new robes for Hogwarts," said George.

"Oh, new robes? Which house are you in?"

"Currently in none," said Alice a bit shyly.

"In none? Are you from another school, dear?" Madam Malkin asked nicely. Alice looked a bit taken aback by that question, none the less she nodded her head, hoping that that would settle down the questions.

Luckily, this did really help and Madam Malkin made her way, together with Alice into the back of the shop to measure her size and fit the robes and the school uniform onto her.

"This won't take long, dear," she said and after mere fifteen minutes everything was ready and paid for.

"Thank you very much," said Alice and left, together with the twins the shop.

"Where do we go next?" asked Alice and looked around the street. It wasn't, byany means, full, but every shop had some people inside or in front of it. Only Ollivanders was empty, which drew Alice near it. Before she even realized it, she had walked inside the little shop. Alice looked around the room and walked to the front counter. It seemed as if nobody was there and she feared for a moment, that it was closed. The twins hadn't come inside with her, maybe they hadn't seen her walking inside.

"I'm coming!" came a voice from the back.

Alice waited patiently until an old man appeared behind the counter and smiled at her. He eyed her thoroughly.

"First wand, I guess? I've never seen you here before, but I feel that you have a great power inside you," he said.

"A great power? You can feel that?" Alice looked at him bewildered.

"Yes, it's in your eyes my child. I might just have the perfect wand for you."

With a smile he went away again. Alice scratched her head. How did he know that it was her first wand? And what was in her eyes, that showed her power? Before she could ask those questions, Mr Ollivander was back with a box.

"Cedar and Dragon Heartstring. This might just be perfect," said Mr Ollivander and gave her the wand.

He looked at her expectantly as Alice touched it. She noticed that in that moment someone had entered the shop, but upon touching the wand she felt something surge through her. The tip of the wand glowed and it felt warm in her hand. She wasn't expecting the wand to pulsate in her hand, but it was a good feeling and she didn't want to let go of the wand in that moment. She looked at Mr Ollivander.

"See, I knew it," he said and smiled. "The wand chooses the wizard, and this one was expecting you to come. It was rather fidgety inside his box the whole morning and I was wondering when you would come to claim it."

Alice didn't quite get what the old wizard was saying and she didn't really want to ask either, so she just nodded in agreement.

"Have you found a wand yet?" sounded Fred's voice behind her. Alice turned around to him. She smiled and nodded. Then she paid for the wand.

"Thank you very much, Mr Ollivander," said Alice and took the box with the wand.

"Oh not at all, I am the one to thank you. I hope you and your wand will experience many adventures together," was his reply, as Alice walked outside, together with Fred.

Waiting in front of the shop were Mrs Weasley and George, looking at her expectantly. Apparently everyone was expecting something of her, thought Alice. She held up the wand.

"I have a wand, and I have my robes. Do we need anything else?"

"No, dear. We can go home now," said Mrs Weasley. Together they went back to the Leaky Cauldron and travelled back by floo powder. Mrs Weasley gave Alice the books and smiled.

"Here you go, dear. You can go upstairs now, I'll be making some food ready. Maybe you can pack your trunk? If you need to go home for anything you've left there just say something, I'm sure Fred and George will go with you."

"Okay Mrs Weasley, and thank you very much."

"Oh no problem, dear."

Alice went upstairs into the room of the twins. She laid her robes neatly onto her bed together with her books. Then she took out her wand.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she said and looked to the twins.

"You seem to like it very much," said George.

"I do, it just feels right, you know?"

"We do, that's how you feel, when you know you've got the right wand," said Fred. Alice smiled at him.

"Hey, what do you think which house I'll get sorted into in Hogwarts?" she suddenly asked and sat down. The twins looked at each other and begin to think about it.

"Well, obviously Gryffindor is the best. It's where the brave ones are sorted," said George.

"And you certainly are brave," said Fred.

"There's also Hufflepuff. It's for the loyal and dedicated people," explained George.

"Hufflepuff would also fit you," said Fred.

"Ravenclaw is for the intelligent and those with wit...well, you are quite clever. I mean you helped us a lot with the shop," said George.

"It's hard to decide which house you get in," said Fred. "We know that it won't be slytherin though."

"Why?" asked Alice.

"Because that's where all the dark wizards come from. Like You-Know-Who, he was a Slytherin."

Alice pondered over everything the boys had said. She lay down onto Fred's bed, as hers was occupied by books an her robes and stared at the ceiling.

"You know, I would like to be in Gryffindor. Then I could be with my sister and with you guys. I could already have friends in my house, that would be nice," said Alice.

Although saying that, she noticed herself thinking about how it would be inside Hufflepuff. She was loyal and she was dedicated, that much she knew. She would die for her loved ones, but wouldn't that make her brave, too? She liked the name, Hufflepuff sounded like cinnamon and baked goods to her, like things she loved. Gryffindor sounded like fire and fight. But also like long evenings with friends and adventures. She liked both, but she would rather be with her friends, than be alone.

Fred watched her the whole time. He too wanted her to be in Gryffindor, but for a more selfish reason. He wanted to have her near him. He was getting used to her being around him all the time. Fred knew that she was not going to sleep inside his room again, but he could still spent more time with her in the common room. After what had happened at the World Cup, he had not only promised to be there for her, but he had also promised himself to pursue his feelings. He still wanted to wait until everything had calmed down a bit, so he just had to wait until she had started Hogwarts, until everything was going a normal way again. Still, the way she was laying on his bed, was making him feel things. He wanted to take her into his arms and kiss her and then just lay there with her until they would fall asleep. By Merlin, he thought, what a luck that nobody can read my mind. He suddenly realized that he was starting to stare into the nothing, so he focused again on what was going on in the room.

"I still need some things from my room," said Alice.

"We can go there right now, if you want," said George.

Fred nodded in agreement. He hadn't missed anything important, which made him sigh in relief internally. This was getting harder than he had thought at first. If George hadn't said anything, maybe he wouldn't even have found out about his feelings. Maybe he would now still be oblivious to it. In the past he had known when he liked someone more than a friend, why was it so different when it came to Alice? Because she herself was different than anyone he had ever liked, said a voice inside him. Because he knew that it would be different to be together with her. That's what he liked about her, she was loyal and loving and funny. She was dedicated to the things she loved and she was brave when it came to the people she loved. She was still shy, and kept things bottled up inside her. Fred felt, that he wanted to be the person she could open up to, even though he didn't know how to show her that just yet. But the right time would come, so much he knew.
