You interested me from the moment we crossed paths
You were super quiet and I wondered how long you'd last

For some reason my best friend was in love with you
Then I realized I'd have some digging to do

So I dug a little deeper and became your friend
That's when my opinion of you seemed to bend

You were really nice and begun to like me
But it's not like I knew that, I wasn't smart enough to see

But alas, she dug to deep
And found out her theory wasn't a big leap

Fast forward a few days and we see a surprise,
You still like me and I seemed to open my eyes

So yeah, I like you too and I guess I'll wait
But so help me god, you better not be late

My poems are bad, and I totally know
But I needed a way for my feelings to show
