Ford was in the basement carefully watching over Mabel. It had been a few days since she was hit, and she was still asleep!

Stan was very worried. "Do you think she'll ever wake up?" He asked Ford.

Ford glanced at his twin He sighed. Stan looked so upset and depressed for the girl.

"Of course she will, Lee." "She will be just fine...I don't know how we're going to break the news to her about Dipper."

Soos nodded. "She won't like it." He said sadly already knowing how the girl would react.

Will nodded mournfully. "She will be very very upset!" He sniffed and watched her.

"Who will?" A weak voice asked from below them. Mabel was awake!

*Cue theme song*

"She's awake!" Ford announced loudly much to Mabel's pounding head.

"Grunkle Ford can you please stop shouting?" Mabel asked weakly with a moan.

"Sorry pumpkin, how do you feel?" Ford asked quietly. Mabel looked confused.

"My head hurts...what happened?" She asked becoming more and more alert.

"Well um there's something we have to tell you sweetie, your not going to like it and you might be upset." Stan said gently.

"Where's Dipper?" Mabel asked suddenly. The last thing she remembered was arguing with him.

"That's what we need to tell you my darling...you see...When Dipper was with Bill, he was injected with demon blood...Dipper has been half demon for months."

Will broke the news very carefully and prepared for the crying and heartbreak.

"What?!" Mabel shouted jumping up. "Why didn't he tell us?" She asked.

"He told Ford, and Ford has been helping him with his side affects." Stan replied.

"What side affects?" Mabel wondered nervously. No wonder he was in the basement so much!

"When he gets angry or upset, fire shoots from his wrists and he gets a searing pain on his forehead." Ford answered.

"He also had been getting worse the past few weeks, he's been in a lot of pain and Bill also marked his wrists." Ford added.

"So that's why he's been acting so weird!" Mabel said mournfully. "So where is he and why was I knocked out."

"You and Dipper were arguing and he couldn't control his anger and accidently hit you with a beam of fire."

"Ohh...so that's why there's a burn mark on my head?" She asked in pain.

Ford nodded. "Yes...it might be permanent though honey." He sighed.

Mabel nodded. "Where's Dipper?" "I want to see him and tell him I'm sorry."

Stan stepped up and cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well sweetie...he's gone...we think he's run away, he thinks your dead."

"And he didn't tell anyone because he was terrified he would hurt us or that we wouldn't accept him." Ford added.

"So he's gone?" Mabel's lip quivered. "It's all my fault!" "I wouldn't let him leave, and he got mad and now he's gone!"

Mabel sobbed pitifully and Will hugged her tight. "Shhh, it wasn't your fault, you didn't know and we will find him."

"Yes it is!" "I pushed him over the edge, and made him run away!" "I'm so sorry!" She sobbed.

Ford took over hugging the distraught girl. "It's OK sweetie, don't cry...it's no one's fault."

"Cept' Bill." Stan muttered cursing under his breath at the demon dorito.

After a few moments, Mabel managed to calm down reducing from sobs to soft sniffles.

"Was he in a lot of pain?" She asked. Ford nodded. "Yes, but I gave him medicine to help."

"There's more bad news...Bill is coming back, and with Dipper out in the open, bill could find him!" Stan added.

"I can't lose him again!" Mabel wept. She just got her brother back! She couldn't lose him...

"You won't hambone, we're gonna help him!" Soos assured the teen girl.

"Let's go!" Mabel ordered trying to get up. Ford held her down gently.

"Don't move too much, your burn is still healing." Ford said gently.

"But I wanna go help Dipper!" She insisted. She wanted to go help him now!

Stan sighed. "Pumpkin, you need to rest another day or so, we will go find Dipper in the Morning, I promise."

Mabel nodded. "OK...first thing on the morning?" She asked hopefully.

Ford nodded. "First thing in the morning." He repeated. He took the teen to the living room.

"We'll all sleep her tonight." Ford declared. Mabel nodded. She didn't want to be alone.

So, the Pines family slept huddled together in the living room but not sleeping much.

"I love you Dipper." She whispered before falling asleep and hugging Will tightly.
