Loki POV

" Calm down. Just say sorry and some flattering words. Use your silver tongue Loki. " I mentally encouraged myself. I cleared my throat to catch her attention. She looked at me for a second then turned her head away.

I can't see her expression but I can feel that she's umm...angry.

" Mortal. " 𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘓𝘰𝘬𝘪! " I-I mean Rose, no wait, Rosabelle. Umm... I'm guilty for what I've done and I would be grateful if you forgive me... " I stopped when I didn't get any response. " What the hell happened to my silver tongue? " I cursed myself.

"Listen, I'm really erm... *cough* sorry. I never apologize to any mortals that are beneath me but. But I'm doing it now, because I feel guilty... Forgive me? "
I got silence in response.

" Say something... "

Silence again.

"Well, I liked your pudding! " I forced a smile to ease the tension but failed to get something out from her.
"You're so stubborn morta-Rosabelle! " Guilt and anger started building inside me, making me irritated.

" For Valhalla's sake, say something! " I half-yelled. In response to this, she laid back on her bed and pulled up the blanket to cover herself , leaving me staring at her, stupidly.

I felt angry and...defeated.

" Very well then... I don't care. I did a good work. And I'll do it again! " I threw the words at her and stomped out of the room to find the Avengers present in the living room. They all looked stressed and nervous. Why?

" Sir, Lady Sue has reached the tower with a girl and a cat. " The ceiling man informed Stark. " Let them in, Jarvis. "
The door opened and an old woman with a cross look on her face entered, followed by a excited looking young girl with a small creature in her arms.

" Where's Rose? " She asked Stark. Stark visibly gulped and took her to the infirmary, with the girl who was gawking at everything.

No one's POV

Rose stared at the ceiling, trying to suppress her anger. That man is a spoiled brat. " I shouldn't have done that much to please me. Dammit! Why the fuck did I try to please him? He deserves nothing. And was he apologising? Really? " She grumbled.

"Kid! " Rose turned her head towards the door to find Mr. Stark standing with Aunt Sue and Lucy. She nearly jumped out of the bed in joy. " Aunt! Lucy! " They hesitated. " Are you Rose? " Lucy asked.
Oh right! She forgot about that. Rose tried to put on her illusion but it stayed for less than 5 seconds, when it flickered and disappeared. " It's me. " She whined.

They hurriedly rushed towards her and crushed her with their hugs. " I missed you both. " Rose laughed. " We too child. We too. " Aunt whispered kissing her cheeks. Lucy placed Pom on her lap. " Pom! My love! Aww I missed you too! " She cooed when it licked her face and cuddled.

" What had happened, child? Are you okay now? " Aunt came straight to the point, the smile now was replaced with a worried frown. " I just had a panic attack. I saw a big spider actually. You know how much they scare me. " Rose replied. " I'm glad you are okay sis. I was dead worried. " Lucy said, hugging her again.

"Umm... Ma'am Sue? " The trio looked at Tony who stood awkwardly at the door. " I'll talk to you guys later. " came Aunt's brief reply. Rose felt bad for him.
" 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘬, 𝘔𝘳. 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘬. 𝘈𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵. " She said in his head, making him jump. He then looked at her and nodded before leaving.

" How's my new hairstyle? " Lucy shook her head making her curles bounce. " You curled your hair! I didn't even noticed it. You look beautiful! "
" Is that your mask? Real face? " Aunt asked her. Rose nodded. " Why don't you remove it? I want to see the true you. "

"No no Aunt! I-I can't show you my face. It's too gross and ugly. " She pleaded nervously but was relieved when aunt nodded. " Whether you are gross or not, I'll always love you. You both talk. " She got up. " I've some important things to discuss with the Avengers. " She said, frowning and left the room.

Rose and Lucy gulped nervously. " She's on fire, sis. " Lucy whispered. " Yup. " Rose, answered. Lucy looked at Rose and after staring at her for a minute, whistled. " My! My! You look so sexy in this outfit. Your voice has changed. And you became taller than me! A whole new body! " She teased, wiggling her eyebrows. " Shut up silly! " Rose laughed.

"Show your powers. Please. Please. Pleeese! " Lucy jumped up and down.
Rose shrugged and started a short show showing off her powers...

Aunt entered the living room. " Tony Stark! " " Yes ma'am! " Tony hurriedly reached her. " I trusted my child in your care. It has been just 3 days for Christ's sake and she ended up fainting! You broke your promise Stark! I'm taking her back with me. " She yelled, angrily.

" No no no no ! Wait ma'am. It was just an accident. I promise this won't happen again! " Tony tried to explain her desperately. " I love her like a daughter! She's happy here ma'am. She got a brother here, Thor. A sister in Natasha and friends in Steve, Bruce and Clint. She got a family here. We all will take care of her. "

" Yes ma'am! I know that you are upset with us but we promise you that it won't repeat again. Please don't take her away. " Steve pleaded. " Please! " Thor piped in, softly.

Aunt sighed. She didn't expect to receive such puppy eyes from the mighty Avengers. " God! " She groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. " What if you break your promise again? " " We won't, ma'am. " Nat replied, confidently.
" Well then, she can stay here but-" She raised her hand to stop them from speaking. " If something happens, I'll curse you all. " She threatened.

" Aunt! " They all turned to find Rose carrying Pom and Lucy enter the room.
" Holy cow! Avengers! Aaaaaaaa! "
"There she goes. " Rose muttered, facepalming.

"Captain America! Iron Man! Black Widow! Bruce Banner! Hawkeye and oh my! THOOR! " She yelled, hopping near him. " You're my favorite! I love how big you are! " She swooned making others laugh awkwardly while Loki rolled his eyes. "Nice to meet you, my lady. " Thor kissed her knuckles making her blush heavily. So heavily that her face was almost red. " Awww! T-thank you." She stammered. And then her eyes fell on Loki.

" You seem familiar. Who are you? " She cocked an eyebrow. " I'm Loki of Asgard and I'm burd-" " L-LOKI!! " He was cut off by her howling. "I mean that Loki! Holy fricking fucking shit!!! "

Lucy turned towards the rest. " Yo-you have the most wanted and the most attractive villain in your TOWER! " She yelled, shocked. All eyes shifted on Aunt. They didn't know how she'll react about it.

" Well, you're really as sexy and hot as hell but I was taught in school that don't judge a book by it's cover. So to me you're still a Villain! "
" Lucy stop now! " Rose yelled.

" Me? Stop? Rose, guys you aren't safe. You-" She stopped when aunt started walking towards Loki. " Oh shit! " Rose cursed under her breathe. She knew that aunt has lost her friend in that New York attack. She didn't know what aunt will do now, finding the responsible man in front of her.

Meanwhile Loki's breath hitched as aunt continued to look into his eyes. He felt nervous and uncomfortable. " You're Loki!? " She asked, surprised. He nodded, slowly. " Holy Jesus! Isn't he too young to do that type of things? " She wondered out aloud, taking everyone else by shock.

" Didn't your mummy smack you for it? "
Loki gulped, confused. This old woman is crazy. " I was sentenced to life imprisonment. " She sighed. " Poor child. Are you guilty? " Loki nodded, surprised. He was not getting what the woman is trying to prove.

" Then why did you do it? " Her next question startled him. He kept quiet. " Well, what you did can't be reversed. You're dead guilty for I can see the heavy weight of guilt in your eyes. I don't know if I should say it or not because I'm not among the unfortunates but... " She placed a hand on his cheek, making him flinch. " Try to redeem yourself, child. You are young and it's not late to start a new life. "

The entire room was silent at this unexpected response from aunt Sue. Loki's eyes prickled as he fought back his emotions at this sudden motherly love. She made him miss Frigga.

Aunt turned around to face the team while Loki looked down, his eyes glazed. Mortals are strange. " I used to curse him everyday for the destruction he caused. But now when I face him, I find him broken. Can't you all see it? " She asked them. They all stared at her, stupified.
She sighed deeply. " Young people these days listen to their brain more than their heart.Leave it... Stark! "

" Yes ma'am! "
" I'm leaving and remember what I said. Take care of her. It's true that I didn't carry her for nine months in my womb but I love her, more than that... Understood? " She looked like a principal.

" Yes ma'am! "
" Call me aunt. " She smiled and kissed Rose's forehead. " Take care, child. " Before leaving she gave a last glance at Loki. " Remember child, it's not too late. " Loki nodded, with a slight smile.
