They all sat on sofas except Natasha and Rose. Rose asked Natasha to sit on chair. "Let me heal you properly, ma'am." She said. She placed her white glowing hand on her splited lips and healed it. "Anywhere else? " She asked. "Nay! Thanks" Nat replied with a smile.

"Mr.Furr-..Fury" She turned to him and healed his bruised head. "Finished" Rose sighed.

"So kid, you can heal. Is something more you can do? " Tony asked. Rose hesitated for a moment and then asked for something to write on. Steve handed her a notebook and a pen. She took it and started writing something. When she finished, she passed it to the team. "My powers denoted by some different glows" She said, twiddling her thumbs.

Healing  - White
Controlling any types of metal -purple
Teleport-green
Empathy and mind controlling- light blue
Talk to birds and animals-golden
Control body temperature- pink

The team stared at her in silence. "You are so.. " Captain started but was cut off by Tony "so colourful! Are you invisible?"

"No! " Rose was surprised hearing the stupid comment.

"Then why are you covering your full body with this black costume like 'The Invisible Man' ?"

"And why do you have two cat like ears on your head? " Clint piped in. "They are just decorations. I thought it would look good" Rose said caressing the cat ears.

"Show us your face please." Bruce said.
Rose hesitated and changed her form to her usual self. "She is so cute!" Tony laughed. "A baby!"

"But this is an illusion... " Thor stated dryly and Rose froze. All eyes travelled from Rose to Thor. "How do you know Thor? " Nat asked, confused. "Well years of practice with my trickster brother. " Thor replied, airily.
Tony stood up and came near Rose. "Kid" He said placing a hand on her shoulder, "Spill the secret. We won't hurt you. Trust us. "

Rose hesitated. God! I shouldn't have come here. Save me!

But studying everyone's attentive gaze, she knew she had no other option.

Trust them... They are Avengers for God's sake!

She took a deep breath, "okay sir... "

Rose POV

I told them everything that how I hated my true form and felt uncomfortable with it. Of course I didn't tell them the reason. It's not the correct time.
First they insisted me to show my hidden self but when they saw my hesitation, they dropped the matter. "How you got the powers? Who are your parents? " Bruce asked.

Oh great! Here I go...

"I was experimented and tortured. They gave me those powers to use me for their dirty works." I started, nervousness growing with each passing seconds. Oh Jesus! Why do I feel I'm digging my own grave?

"Who are they?" Captain asked. "Hydra" I replied and again they fell silent. Do they know about them? If not, then I'm willing to spill everything. What's better than those monster's demolition?

"Hydra?" Captain whispered, concerned and surprised.

"Yeah... Hydra with that red tentacles and red skull and they-" I started elaborating but Mr. Stark interrupted me.

"We know about them kid...but." he shared a look with others before frowning. "I thought they are wiped out."

"Wiped out!" I burst out laughing at that. "Wiped out? It has been my home since 19 years and still they are trying to find me. They are flourishing! How can you say they got wiped out?"

"We will talk about it later kid." Clint piped in. "Did your parents kn-"

"I don't remember them. I don't know whether they are dead or alive or how they looked. I don't know anything about them." I answered in an emotionless voice. "Whatever I remember is the dark room where I screamed for love and care but got pain in return"

Silence hung in the air making me uncomfortable again.

"Then why did they let you go?"Thor asked breaking the silence. I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"They didn't let me go! I ran away from there. " I  said, shivering slightly remembering that horrible day. "I ran away at the age of 19 . I wandered here and there afraid to use my powers. I stole food and money and kept on going this way for at least one year. And when I had enough money to start my new life, I came to New York and took a job in 'Full Tummy Yummy Yummy' restaurant." I finished.

And again the silence. Oh God! I'm stuck here for sure.

"Do you want to join the Avengers?" Captain asked, out of the blue. I gawked at him stupidly as if he has grown a spatula out of his head. 

"Come again." I shuttered, hating to believe my ears. They're ringing maybe.
"I asked if you want to join the Avengers. You know the stuffs we-"

Okay, my ears are working well.

"N-no no sir, sorry. I am really happy to lead a normal life. I don't want to have any more problems now. " I stammered, the fear starting to rise.

Oh God! I'm really stuck! I just want to have a normal life, eating and drinking and sleeping. That's it.

"Look. We didn't know that a girl like you with such powers is living publicly. It's dangerous to the society." Mr. Fury stood up. "We can't let you roam freely around. Not after what happened to New York last year."

They aren't going to keep me without my consent, right? I can't live in another prison that snatches my freedom from me.

I got up too. "No sir please! Don't drag me into these matters! I'm not dangerous to anyone!" I was freaking out now. "You won't get any complaints about me. I'll stay low and never use my powers. Just don't lock me up!" I pleaded desperately.

"But I can't-"

"It's okay Fury." Mr. Stark interrupted him. "If she's not willing to join us then we shouldn't force her."

My heart leaped up with gratitude. Ah! I'm saved!

"Hey kiddo." He turned to face me with a wide smile. "Don't worry about it okay? I'll look after it. No one will force you to do anything." I nodded quickly and grasped his hand in a tight grip. "Thanks a lot! I'll never forget your help." I faced the others and grinned. "It was nice meeting you all but I should leave now. Aunt will be dead worried."

"Stay a little longer. Have lunch with us." Captain stopped me with a smile that made my insides squirm. I blushed stupidly. "Sorry sir. I am already late. Aunt would be worrying about me. Hope we meet again." I said with a smile. "We will meet again. Soon." He said with surety.

Before I could teleport, I remembered something. Miss Natasha's birthday! But the gifts? Aw naw! I left it dumped somewhere during the fight. Damn it!

"Happy birthday ma'am" I greeted and hugged her. "Thank you dear." She returned the hug warmly. I pulled back and smiled sheepishly. "I had your gifts ma'am but...err... I don't know what happened to them as I was busy fighting and..." I trailed off, blushing shyly when they laughed.

"You saved my life Rose! What could be more precious than that?" She asked, chuckling.

She's so sweet in reality!

I nodded and stepped back. "I should get going now. Hope to meet you soon."

They waved at me with a beaming smile and I teleported away with a puff, leaving behind green sparkles.
