Her mind stopped working. Her heart was beating hard. Her surrounding became blurry as her sole focus was on the creature. She could neither scream nor tear her eyes from it.

Suddenly the spider doubled up in number and in size. She grabbed a pillow and threw at them but the pillow didn't stop those hairy spiders from advancing towards her. Slowly. As if to seem more menacing...

Sweat beads started appearing on her forehead and her throat ran dry. There were more 4 spiders, equally big crawling towards her. She got up to run but toppled and fell down on the floor catching everyone's attention. They all rushed to her.

"Rose! What happened? Stark what happened to her? " Steve yelled, bewildered. " Kiddo, can you hear me? Rose! Why are you so scared? "
" Tony, she's having panic attack. " Bruce declared. "WHY!? " They all were confused.

Rose crawled towards the farthest corner, bringing her knees to her chest. There were more than twenty spiders crawling towards her. Big spiders with acid drooling from their large fangs. "R-re-remove them. Remove them.! " She yelled frantically, placing her hands on her face. "Remove what sister? Tell me please. " Thor came near her but backed away when she kicked him. " One is o-on you. R-re-remove it. "
" What is scaring you? Rose tell us. We will remove them. " Nat said softly, trying to calm her down.

"Spiders!Spiders! They are so many! So b-big! H-hydra has sent them. K-kill all. " She stammered, violently shaking. She couldn't breathe properly. Her illusionary form was flickering. She was not in proper condition to keep her illusion on.

" Is she hallucinating? Did she drink my scotch? What the hell is happening with her? Dammit! " Tony cursed.

Rose was curled into a tight ball, trembling and gasping for air
Thor couldn't understand. What happened to her all of a sudden? Then suddenly from nowhere a thought struck  his mind.

' Where is Loki?'

And then Loki's unexpected question.
' What is she afraid of ? '

" Oh Norns! " He gasped and rushed to find Loki.

He banged open the door and saw Loki lying on his bed, eyes closed and a smirk plastered on his face. His left hand was tucked under his head and the right hand was raised above, a green glow emitting from it.

Thor pulled Loki up from the bed. " WHAT ARE YOU DOING, LOKI? " He yelled on his face. Loki grimaced. " What are you talking about? And didn't you brush your teeth? "

" How can you brother? How do you manage to break my heart and trust each time? Why the hell are you so MEAN ?! "

" MEAN! You call ME mean Thor? Well you are mean. You didn't even rebuke the girl for insulting me! You didn't even acknowledge my help for her. " Loki yelled back.

" Well I would have rebuked her brother if she hadn't tried her best to please you. The bandage , the ointment. She had sent it for you and told me not to inform you. She was sobbing in her room when she failed in gaining your forgiveness. She even made pudding for you 'cause you love sweets. Then after all these efforts, how can I rebuke her?! "

Loki felt guilt rising in his chest. He opened his mouth to say something when the green glow, that was still glowing from his right palm, vanished. "Did you stop it? "
"No."

" Then what ha-"
Loki rushed out of the room interrupting Thor. Thor followed him down the stairs and reached the hall. They saw Rose laying on the floor, still.
" She has fainted. "

Steve carried her to the infirmary and laid her on the bed. All gathered around her except Loki. He stood there , at the door. His face blank but guilt ripping his heart. " I shouldn't have been so hard on her. " He thought.

"Should we remove the mask? " Tony asked. "No Stark. Leave it. She won't like that. " Client advised to which all nodded. " Someone should stay with her. " Nat said, rubbing Rose's covered palms. " I will. " Client replied.
"Okay."

They all came out. " But why so suddenly she behaved like that. I am 101% sure she was hallucinating . Tony said, pouring himself a glass of wine. They all shrugged. " Let her wake up first, Stark. "Bruce advised.

Meanwhile, Thor grabbed Loki's arm and dragged him to a corner. " Did you see her brother? Are you happy? " He whispered, hurt evident in his voice. " I'll ask her to forgive me. " Loki murmured.
" You never think before you act and that leads to all of your problems. Maybe this will be a lesson for you. "

"Why didn't you say everyone that it was me who tampered with her mind? " Loki asked the question that was troubling him. " Rose needs to know about it. And if she wants, she can tell others. I won't say. " Thor replied. Loki sighed. "I'm going to my room."

While sipping his drink, Tony noticed the two Asgardians talking softly with each other, in a corner. He first thought to mock them but stopped when finally it hit his brain.

Loki!

"He's here. What a dick head I am to forget about the chaos creater. " He slapped himself mentally and walked towards them. But Loki had teleported away before he could reach them.

" Oh! He-hello Stark! My friend! " Thor greeted smiling, trying to hide his nervousness. " Was it Loki? " Tony gritted his teeth.

"What!? "
" I asked was it Loki who did this? "
" Yes... "
" That bastard! " Tony growled, emptying the glass in one gulp. "Stark calm down. He-" " Calm down! " Tony interrupted Thor. " Are you crazy? She's like a daughter to me, Thor and you want me to calm down after what he did to that poor girl? " He sneered at Thor.

" She's my sister too , Stark. Loki deserves punishment, I except that. I won't stop you but just listen to me. " Thor said desperately. "What? "
"Loki wants to say sorry. The one, who has never said sorry, except for mother, in his whole youth, has agreed to say sister sorry!" Tony was quite.

" Please Stark. Don't tell anyone else about it. I promise I won't stop Rose once she comes to know about the whole thing. " Thor begged. " Please. For me at least. " Tony sighed.

" Ok. Don't make me regret about it, Barbie. " Tony smiled before walking away, leaving Thor confused with his new nickname.

" Mr. Stark, Rose's phone is ringing. " Jarvis announced.
"Who is it? " Tony asked. It has been 10 minutes since Rose had fainted and hadn't woken up yet.
"Aunt Sue. "

Different types of curses were heard from different corners of the Hall 'cause they all knew that they were screwed.

"Damn you Loki! " Tony cursed under his breath.
