Chapter Eight
Sage's Pov :
I knew I was making the boys worried about me but I couldn't help it, I was feeling drained and tired. I wasn't getting much sleep and the sleep I did get was riddled with night terrors of the life I had to live with when I was still with my parents.
She had school today, it was Tuesday after all. But she didn't really feel up to it.
I didn't forget to put on my bindings, before I quickly threw on some skinny jeans and a long sleaved button up shirt, I also put on some sneakers. I didn't feel like doing anything to my hair so I left it as it was.
I made the boys some breakfast but wasn't feeling hungry myself so I didn't eat any.
I left the house quietly, I didn't want the guys to wake up and I didn't want a lift to school, today I wanted to walk and see if I could clear my head a little.
I reached the school without any problems and yet my mind wasn't any clearer, it felt more clouded then before.
With a heavy sigh, I entered the school. I was sure I looked like a mess, because all of the students looked at me if I was some strange creature. I really didn't care about what they thought of me.
I went to my homeroom and put my head on my desktop, I didn't even lift it up when I heard the chairs in front and the back of me moved.
I was not in the mood to speak to anyone, not even Luke and North.
*****Time skip*****
The day felt longer than usual, I was tired, confused and wanted to go home. I didn't sit with the boys today, I avoided them the best I could.
The school day was finally done and I couldn't be more happier that it was.
I walked home even though I knew Kayli would come to pick me up, I just didn't want to speak to anyone, not even her or the Toma - Team.
I reached our home and fell onto my bed, before I decided to stand up and lock the door. I did not want anyone to disturb me, I just wanted to be alone for a while.
I must have fallen asleep, because a few hours later I was woken up because someone was knocking on my door.
I stood up and walked to the door slowly, I was a little bit out of it. When I finally reached my door, I unlocked it and opened it and on the other side of the door stood Kayli.
The other woman had a frown on her face and a worried look in her always cheerful eyes.
I opened my door further, inviting her into my room.
