After a 30 minute break the semifinalists arrived. The crowd of people cheered for the them.

Fishlegs: Good luck to all of you guys.

Hiccup: Thanks,Fishlegs.

Astrid: Yeah,thanks Fishlegs.

Ruffnut: Whatever.

Valka: First off I think all these young vikings should receive a big round of applause!

The crowd claps for the remaining poets.

Valka: Our first match will be Astrid vs. Fishlegs followed by Hiccup vs. Ruffnut and finally the finalists will head on face to face in a poetry off!!!!

The crowd roars in excitement.

Valka: Let the first match begin.

Fishlegs: Ladies first.

Astrid: Thanks Fishlegs. Ok,here's my friendship poem. Ahem.

Friendship is a precious gift

that can't be bought or sold.

But its value is much greater

Than a mountain made of gold.

For gold is cold and lifeless

It can neither see nor hear.

And in the time of trouble

It is powerless to cheer.

It has no ears to listen

And no heart to understand.

It cannot bring you comfort

Or reach out a helping hand.

So when you ask the Gods for a gift

Be thankful if they send

Not diamonds, pearls or riches

but the love of real, true friends!

Valka touches her heart.

Valka: Oh,so touching.

The crowd cheers Astrid's name.

Crowd: ASTRID! ASTRID! ASTRID! ASTRID! ASTRID! ASTRID!

Fishlegs: Astrid that was very touching, and because I am a good friend I shall let you move on to the finals.

Astrid: Thanks Fishlegs.

They shake hands.

Astrid (whispers): Works everytime.

Valka: And now for the last match before getting to the finals Hiccup vs. Ruff-

Ruffnut: Wait! Where's my Son of Eret? I refuse to do this without him watching me do this!

Ruffnut runs off in search for Eret.

Valka: Well it looks like the time has come vikings! The two remaining will go vs each other in a poetry off! The Chief of Berk vs. His own wife!!!!

The crowd goes wild. Hiccup and Astrid stand face to face.

Astrid: Good luck, Hiccup.

Hiccup: Good luck, Astrid.

Astrid: You're gonna need it.

Hiccup: You'll need it more than I do,malady.

Valka: The rules are simple. Instead of the judges deciding the crowd will simply decide by cheering loudly for the one they like the most. So without further ado I hereby commence this poetry off!

The crowd cheers,but then they grow silent when they see Astrid and Hiccup hold hands and look into each other's eyes

Astrid: You're my man, my mighty king,

And I'm the jewel in your crown,

You're the sun so hot and bright,

I'm your light-rays shining down,

Hiccup: You're the sky so vast and blue,

And I'm the white clouds in your chest,

I'm a river clean and pure,

Who in your ocean finds her rest,

Astrid: You're the mountain huge and high,

I'm the valley green and wide,

You're the body firm and strong,

And I'm a rib bone on your side,

Hiccup: You're an eagle flying high,

I'm your feathers light and brown,

You're my queen, the queen of all queens,

And I'm the jewel in your crown.

Astrid takes out a piece of paper and begins to read.

Astrid: Since the day we first met, I knew it was love, the Gods answered my prayers, you came down from above... You gave me your heart, and taught me to trust, for the first time ever, it was more than just lust. Your sweet loving words, are not to be compared, I am forever your partner, my soul I have bared... Every day I wake up, with a smile a mile long, I know that we are solid, I know that we are strong. So never put into question, my feelings being true, because I have found my one and only, And I will always love you.

Hiccup takes out a piece of paper and begins to read.

Hiccup: You're the one I can't live without

This fact is true, I have no doubt

I love the way you smile at me

I love the way together we're free

You may be strange and slightly loony

But all this means nothing to me

Because you are who you are

And I can see your beauty

Inside and out

Which is what threw me

When everyday I see you

Till then I cannot wait

To know what we will go through

Are in the hands of fate

The first time that I saw you

I knew I must steal your heart

I hope that it's mine for ever

And that we never do part

You are the one I love the most

And to this here fact I propose a toast;

May we grow old and still have fun

Because I love you and my heart you've won.

Everyone is dead silent. Suddenly everyone cheers and claps over their beautiful poetry. Astrid and Hiccup hold hands.

Valka: Well it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's a tie!

Valka laughs. The couple looks at each other.

Astrid: Hmmmm...Call it a tie?

Hiccup: Hmmmm...Ok,but I still say I won.

Astrid: Why do say that?

Hiccup kissed Astrid passionately.

Hiccup: Because I'm the one who stole a kiss.

Astrid blushed and kissed Hiccup back

Astrid: Not anymore.

Every laughs and watch the couple kiss passionately again. In the very back of the crowd in the dark there was a girl. It was none other than Heather.

Heather: Hiccup...Astrid...I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE...

A mysterious figure shows up behind her.

Voice: Funny that you should mention HIS name.

Heather turns around to see Dagur the Deranged. She smirks.

Heather: You hate Hiccup?

Dagur: Why yes I do,young lady. Don't you?!

He pulls a sword to her neck. Heather giggles walking up to him slowly and running her fingers on his arm.

Heather: Well...Why don't we...team up? To get our revenge on Hiccup.

Dagur: ...I'm listening...

Heather giggles placing her hands on Dagur's chest plate.

Heather: I'm Heather.

Dagur: I am Dagur the Deranged!!!

Heather: Oooooooh...Deranged. I like that.

Dagur: You know what Heather? I said he same thing when I saw you...

Dagur pulls Heather towards him.

Heather: Ooooh Mr.Deranged...

Dagur smashes his lips against Heather's. The new team seperated.

Dagur: Now that we're official...Let's plan our Revenge...
