Today was the day. Hiccup would be home today! He had been at a chieftain's meeting with many other village chiefs on a far away island for a week. Normally Astrid would have gone with him, but she'd had to stay home to care for Analia, who was now five years old.
   Astrid was in the great hall eating breakfast with Analia at her side. She could barely see over the table. Analia had shoulder length chestnut brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a purple shirt with black leggings. She had her mother's temper, but her father's gentleness.
   For some reason Analia wasn't eating. Instead she was twirling her hair.
   "Analia why aren't you eating? You love fruit."
   "I'm not hungry mommy." She replied in her squeaky voice. "I want to see daddy!" She crossed her arms and pouted.
   Astrid lifted her out of her chair and set her in her lap.
   "I know you miss him baby. But you know what?"
   "What?"
   "Daddy is gong to come home today! In fact he should be here any minute now!"
   The little girl squealed in delight. "Yay!! Can we go wait for him?"
   Astrid couldn't help but chuckle at her daughter's excitement.
   "Yes of course! But we have to do your hair first."
   The little girl screamed. "No no no!!"
   "Analia." Astrid said sternly.
   "Nooooooo!!!"
   "Come on. Do you have to do this every morning? I think Ruffnut is getting tired of having to help me. Goofnut doesn't shout and scream when Ruffnut does her hair."
   Goofnut, Analia's best friend was Ruffnut And Erret's daughter. She didn't seem to mind having her hair done at all. Ruffnut  had to help with Analia's hair a lot lately.
   "I don't care!! No hair!!"
   "Ughh. Ruffnut can you come here?" Astrid shouted.
   Ruffnut wandered over and chuckled. "Hair again?"
   "Yep."
   Astrid held Analia still while Ruffnut put her hair in a ponytail.
   "Ok chick. All done! That wasn't so bad was it?"
   "It doesn't hurt when you do it." Analia said as she loosened the ponytail a bit.
   Ruffnut chuckled and went back to her seat.
   "Can we go now?" Analia started bouncing in Astrid's lap.
   "Yes go on. I'll be right behind you." Astrid replied.
   Analia lept off Astrid's lap and darted out the door towards the dock.

   Berk came into view as Toothless started to descend.
   "Ready to be home bud?"
   Toothless slapped Hiccup's hand with his ear. "Oh quit it you." Hiccup laughed for a moment. "I'm ready too."
   Toothless landed on the dock. Hiccup switched his medal foot so he could walk. He pulled off his helmet and saw Analia running straight for him, Astrid walking towards him too."
   "Daddy!!"
   Hiccup scooped her up mid run. "There's my baby girl!!" He tossed her way up in the air and caught her.
   "Ohhh I missed you so much Analia!" Hiccup exclaimed as he hugged her and kissed the top of her head.
   Analia hugged him with all her might. "I missed you too daddy!"
   Analia then noticed her favorite dragon was there too. "Toothless!!!" She wiggled like a worm and Hiccup set her down so she could go see him.
   He was then knocked to the ground by his wife.
   "Hiccup!! Thank Thor you're home! I missed you so much! Don't ever leave me again!"
   "I missed you too milady." They hugged tight and then got up and brushed themselves off.
   They heard high pitched laughing and turned around to see Analia laying on her back and Toothless standing over her, licking her all over.
   "Toothless!" She giggled. "You're making me all sticky!"
   Toothless stopped and Analia got up, and climbed on top of him and sat on his head. "I love you Toothless!" Toothless smiled. He loved Analia and was very protective over her.
   "Was she good while I was gone?" Hiccup chuckled. 
   Astrid shook her head while she laughed before saying, "A few tantrums now and again but she did alright."
   "Come here you." Hiccup demanded. He grabbed Astrid around the waist and pulled her in for a kiss.
   "Ewwwwww!!!" Analia exclaimed. She was now where Hiccup sat on Toothless.
   Hiccup and Astrid pulled away and Toothless laughed if you can call it a laugh.
   Analia hopped off of Toothless and walked next to Hiccup. He didn't notice her while he was catching up with Astrid. So she jumped up and poked the button that made Hiccup's back fin of his flight suit pop out.
   "Ahh!" Exclaimed a startled Hiccup. Astrid laughed and so did Analia.
   "Hmmm I wonder where she got that from?" Hiccup said as he eyed Astrid.
   Hiccup laughed as he made the fin lay flat again.
   Analia put her hands in the air and jumped up and down. "Daddy upsies!!"
   Hiccup kneeled down. "But your so heavy!" He declared sarcastically.
   Astrid laughed so hard she snorted.
   "Pleeeaaassseee Daddy?" Analia begged.
   Hiccup chuckled. "Well how can I ignore that pretty face?"
   He picked her up and sat her on his neck. He reached up and held her hands so she wouldn't fall backwards.
   "Weeee!!"
   "She's such a goof." Astrid said.
   Hiccup moved one of his hands to the middle of Analia's back and held Astrid's hand with the other.
   They headed back to the house. Finally together again.
