The school day had come to an end; Addison didn't hear the voice again and brushed it off. Zed was hyped up as he talked to his green-haired friends about the surfing competition.

"Zed!" A smiling white hair girl ran up to the tall zombie, Bree followed her and smiled shyly at Bonzo.

"Hey, Bonzo," Bree giggled.

Bonzo smiled at her, "Ga, Brezk."

"Hey, Addie," Zed grinned as she slowed to their walking speed.

"Where you going?" Addison asked.

"To the beach," Zed said proudly, "I'm going to go practice surfing."

Addison giggled, "I thought you couldn't surf."

"He can't," Eliza rolled her brown eyes, "You're going to drown Zed."

"I'm not going to drown!" Zed scoffed, "I can swim."

"Doggie paddling doesn't count," Eliza sighed.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll do great Zed! I'll be cheering you on!" Addison smiled.

"Hey!" Yelled Wyatt.

The five turned around and looked at the three werewolves. They waited for the trio to catch up.

"Wassup?" Zed nodded at them.

"Well," Wynter said, stepping forward, "We were wondering if we could try this surfing thing with you!"

"That'll be awesome!" Zed grinned

Addison smiled at them, "That's great! We can get closer as friends this way!"

The group of eight made their way through town. Addison stopped the group and smiled widely.

"How are you going to surf without a suit?"

"A what?" Wyatt looked at her, confused.

Zed came up behind him and started pushing him towards a store across the street, grinning, "You're about to find out!"

"Za!" Bonzo happily followed.

"This way, girls!" Addison grabbed Willa's and Wynter's wrists and dragged them into another store. Eliza reluctantly followed them while Bree clapped happily.

--Time Skip to the Beach--

Addison walked onto the beach wearing an ombre blue tankini with ruffles and crisscrossing straps while Willa followed her wearing a purple bathing suit that had the right side cut out, one thick strap and a thin one, her curly hair was in a tight french braid. Wynter was wearing a turquoise two-piece long-sleeved that tied in the back and shorts; her hair was pulled tightly into two french braids. Eliza had changed into a black ripped up tank top with a light, loose, sheer burgundy shirt and dark green shorts and flip-flops, she simply put her hair into a ponytail. Bree was wearing a light pink swim dress with shorts with her hair in a bun.

Wyatt, Zed, and Bonzo walked onto the beach wearing wetsuits. Wyatt's was mainly black but had some yellow around the collar, arms, and sides, along with some white. Zed's was mostly burgundy with some green and dark purple strips like Wyatt's, Bonzo was wearing something similar to Zed's wet suit except instead of purple, he had black.

"Alright! Let's go hang ten!" Zed cheered as he pretended to be surfing on the sand.

Addison giggled at his silliness while Eliza rolled her eyes as she pulled out her dark sunglasses.

"Hope you got a board before you go, 'spreading em waves,'" Eliza said as she flicked out her glasses and put them on her face.

"Don't worry! Ya boi got it covered." Zed smiled as he looked over at a row of eight surfboards lined up near the lifeguard tower.

Zed ran over to them, sand flying out from under his feet. Wyatt laughed and followed Zed along with Bonzo. Willa and Wynter looked to Addison, who smiled and gestured towards the boards. Bree nervously followed the three girls while Eliza walked over to one of the umbrellas set up on the beach and sat down in the shade.

"How do we do this?" Wyatt asked, looking at the grinning Zed.

"Well, you paddle out. Wait for a wave, get it going, and BAM! You're surfering!" Zed made an explosion with his hands.

"Uh, zag ga!" Bonzo said, pointing towards the water.

A big wave just crashed down and rolled onto the shore. Wyatt gulped before looking at Zed, who was smiling at the water as he grabbed a green and pink surfboard with a large Z on it. Bonzo grabbed the other board, which matched Zed's. The others grabbed similar boards. The only difference was their color. Zed held his surfboard over his head as he ran to the water.

"Careful, Zed!" Addison put her hand to her mouth as she yelled to amplify her voice.

"I will!" Zed yelled back as he jumped in the shallow water.

"This is gonna be fun!' Wyatt said before holding the surfboard under his arm and chased after Zed.

"Do we have to surf?" Willa asked, looking at Addison.

Addison's blue eyes landed on some boogie boards laying next to the surfboards. Her lips curved into a smile as she looked back at Willa.

"We can use those! It's way easier than surfing!" Addison put the surfboard back and grabbed the boogie board.

"Thank goodness!" Wynter sighed as she put her board back too, "This surfing thing looks difficult."

The three boys waited into the waves. Once they were waist-deep, Wyatt turned to Zed with a nervous face.

"What do we do now?" The wolf boy asked.

Zed floated his board in front of himself and attempted to lay on it. The surfboard slipped out from under Zed, causing him to face plant into the saltwater. Bonzo laughed at his friend and laid on his board with ease. Wyatt waited back to the shallower water and laid on his board there and paddled back out to the two zombies. Zed was still having trouble getting on his board while Bonzo sat up and was laughing as he watches Zed's board leaped out of the water.

"Maybe you should go back to the shallow end Zed," Wyatt chuckled at Zed's frustration.

Zed growled as he waited back and got on his board. Addison, Bree, Willa, and Wynter had made it out to where the boys were. Addison giggled as she saw how wet Zed's hair was.

"Having trouble?" She asked in a teasing tone.

"Not anymore!" Zed said as he paddled back out, going over a small wave.

The wave had started to grow, causing Willa and Wynter to start panicking. Addison turned around and laid on her boogie board and started kicking. Bree rushed at the wave before it broke and made it over safely.

"Come on!" Addison smiled at the two wolf girls.

Willa quickly matched Addison while Wynter was too panicked and ran out of time. The wave reached its breaking point and crashed. Addison giggled as she rode the wave halfway back to the shore. Willa's face was frozen in terror as the waves carried her a few yards before she lost balance and fell into the saltwater. Wynter didn't have time to escape as the wave knocked her off her feet. She quickly surfaced with her eyes squeezed shut and screaming.

"It ate me!! The sea ate me!!" Wynter yelled as she flung her arms around.

Addison quickly made her way back towards the panicked wolf girl to calm her down. Bree, who was closer, was already by Wynter's side and helped her to the boogie board.

Wyatt gulped as he watched his sister and friend fall into the salty wave. He turned his attention back to Zed, who was trying to find a good wave. Bonzo was paddling around, getting a feel for the board.

Wyatt sighed as he laid back on his stomach and started paddling out a bit farther. There were small waves, but nothing they could 'ride' as Zed called it.

Aah~, Aaaha~

Wyatt's head snapped in the direction of the singing. It was coming from farther out in the water. Wyatt narrowed his eyes as he scanned the blue sea. He thought he saw something white bobbing in the waves, but he didn't have time to find out as out of nowhere, a huge wave started to form.

"We gotta ride this one!" Zed yelled as he started paddling.

Wyatt quickly started paddling as he felt the water pulling him towards the rising wave. The was growing taller and taller by the second. Wyatt's heart was racing in his chest as he heard the roar of the water get louder and louder. Bonzo was farther away and had more time to get ready.

"Zed!" Wyatt yelled over at his smiling friend, "I don't think we can-"

The wave crashed down on top of them. Wyatt and Zed were pushed far under the water, flipping, and twisting. Their boards were wiped away from the two. They had forgotten to put the ankle tie on. Zed and Wyatt didn't know what was up or what was down as the current kept spinning them, tossing them, and flipping them around with ease. Zed opened his eyes, wincing at the saltwater in his eyes. He looked around in his blurred image.

He saw a yellow blur floating lifelessly a few feet in front of him. Zed quickly swam towards the blur as best he could against the tide. He grabbed hold of the yellow blur and saw it had white and brown hair. It was Wyatt. Zed quickly kicked his legs as he swam towards the light coming from the surface. Zed's lungs and head were screaming for air as he reached up. He wouldn't make it, Wyatt's weight was dragging him downward.

Zed opened his mouth and watched the bubbles float up to the surface. His vision was starting to spot as he saw a blur of a person with long white hair swimming towards him from above. Zed had passed out before she had gotten to him.
