cringe moments

We walked for quite some time then, stopping multiple times to take a break. It was rather chill, considering, that everything around us could be dangerous.

There was just one thing that bothered me the whole time.

"How long till we arrive?", I asked.

"DUDE, YOU JUST ASKED LIKE 5 MINS AGO!!", Sapnap yelled at me. Everyone else sighed.

"Tommy, this is the,.... how many times was it?", Puffy started, while doing a typical thinking pose. "17th", both Phil and Punz said at the same time with a pained expression. "It's the fucking 17th time Tommy!!", the sheep finished.

"But it's getting boring. My feet hurt from all the walking on this shitty terrain. Can't we take a break for now?", I complained. My feet burned from all the walking and I was never good with patience.

"Dude, we're almost there, look, only a few 100 blocks and we did it! Stop asking this FUCKING QUESTION OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!" I could've sworn Sapnaps face was red. He did point to our goal though. About 500 blocks away. But I paid attention to another thing.

"DON'T FUCKING YELL AT ME IN A FUCKING FOREST, SNAPMAP!!", I yelled back while staring daggers at him.

"YOU'RE THE ONE YELLING, BITCH!", the bandana-wearing man fought back. With words, but still...

The bickering went on and on and on and on and on. I bet the others's hearing got damaged.

"STOP! BOTH OF YOU!", Phil finally intervened. The fighting stopped and we both looked at the blond before us. Puffy and Punz looked very happy at this.

"We should proceed, you little shits, before it gets dark.", he reasoned. Only then did I realize we haven't moved an inch forward since our bickering. Sapnap seemed to have realized this then and there at that very moment as well.

Embarrassing.

We continued walking, while Phil checked on our behaviour all the time. One wrong move and there'd only be 4 of us left. Maybe 3, depending on his anger.

When we walked closer we saw a road ahead and noise. It was really loud compared to the silent forest.

"Dude, is this some town or what? I thought NPCs never build a town, only villages.", Punz asked.

Noone gave it any attention though. The noise wasn't that loud, but something we've never heard before. It sounded so weird. We walked closer and were really close to the towns entrance.
This one thing caught our eyes especially.

"What the fuck are those things? Some kind of mob?", I asked. "Idk, ask someone who knows.", Sapnap sarcastically answered. I was about to yell back, but I got the shivers. Phil stared at both of us with the 'don't mess with me' look. I immediately stopped and just looked ahead.

Rest in Peace Sapnap.

We hid in some bushes nearby and watched people and those strange mobs going on their way. There wasn't really anything worth mentioning about the people. They all looked unique though. Like players would.

Are those even NPCs? I mean, they look like players.

But the Mobs were weird. Everyone seemed unique in colour and form. But all of them walked on that road with lines in the middle. Not only that, but everyone of them went in one direction on either side.

Suddenly Punz spoke. "What the fuck?" We all looked at him. He seemed to be looking at the strange moving mobs on four wheels or something in horror.

"What about that?", I asked with a questioning look.

"Are there fucking people inside?", he said. Upon closer look, there were indeed people in those mobs. This gave me the chills.

Why the fuck would people go into something's fucking stomach?

"Why the fuck do they look so unmoved? And why does nobody care?", the canonic-mercenary asked with a very unsettled look.

I glanced at the others and they probably questioned everything at that very moment.

Is it normal in this dimension?

"We should probably walk inside. Maybe we can find a place to stay and we need to gather information as well.", Phil said and began walking towards the people.

"Wait!", Puffy whisper-yelled and dragged Phil back into the bushes. Poor Phil landed on his back.

"What?!", he whisper-yelled back. Puffy shut Phils mouth and explained. "Dude, we don't know anything about these mobs, people and stuff. We should blend in. They might all get aggressive because of who knows what! We wouldn't survive that many mobs attacking us!"

The boys in the group didn't really think about that. I nodded in agreement though. "Right, we shouldn't die now. I don't want to walk this distance again!", I said while checking my feet, if they were still working or dead.

The 4 other people glanced at each other nervously and quickly nodded.

"First things first," Sapnap started, "no armour. They seem to be wearing casual clothes like Players do. And they do not mind people getting kidnapped by those mobs. So no panicking and stuff. Just ignore that, ok?" The bandana-wearing man put his armour into his inventory and looked at us. I did as he did and put my armour into my inventory.

It was in my hotbar, so I could react to anything dangerous. The others did as well and we tried blending in with the,... people?, NPCs?, Mobs? Whatever they were.

"---Tommy?!", Phil shook me. I was startled and backed up a bit. "Dude, wtf?", I asked with some dangerously angry eyes. He backed up a bit. In fear? The others also seemed a bit nervous.

"Don't stare at me like that. Your eyes are a bit unsettling, since they're.... weird. Also, snap back into reality, would ya?", the blond adult said with some confidence.

I immediately changed my expression. You could say, that it went from angry and startled to sorry.

Totally forgot about my eyes... I mean, I feel fine, so maybe something messed up my skin, when I entered through.

"Lets go search for some place to stay. It's been a long day, 'Kay?", Puffy said, or more like pleaded. She was probably really tired. Physically and mentally. It was late if you looked at the sun. It was about to set, so it's late. Punz nodded and Sapnap pointed at an alleyway not far.

"The town?", he asked rather than stated, "is probably protected by this fence from something. We should probably blend into the crowd through that alleyway. We just have to be really sneaky about this, not get caught and not get injured." We looked at the place he pointed to. It looked really shady. Perfect for people who have no idea of what the fuck was going on.

We made our way through some more bushes, as to not get spotted. It would be very embarrassing if we did get though, which we didn't, 'cause we're that awesome. We stood infront of the maybe 3 and a half blocks tall fence, which was way too tiny and un-protective for my taste.

I opened my inventory and got my stack of dirt blocks into my hotbar, for my pickaxe. My hotbar was way too full. I began building and made a way up along the fence. Sapnap gave me the thumbs up, while the others said 'nice' or 'thanks'. That was what I could catch at least.

We crossed the fence and ended up in the alleyway. It looked very shady. One could literally feel it. It smelled weird, just as weird as the technology that was there as well. 'Trash-bags', as Phil called them. He saw them on other servers before. Trashcans and trashbags. They're meant to keep the trash in one place, so that it doesn't end up in the environment. There were also other stuff like cans on the ground. One said 'Coke' on it.

Maybe some brand or something.

The sun set and it looked even creepier in that small space, full with it's stinky garbage.

We neared the bright street and Sapnap looked left and right, before giving us the 'go' motion and stepping into the artificial light of the lamps. Good thing it was getting late, since it was getting late less people were out, since less people were out our chances to be spotted were less as well. There were still a lot of those NPCs, but it was the way it was. Better than arriving midday.

Puffy and Phil let out a deep breath, once we were on the street. Sapnap leaned against a buildings wall for a bit. Punz had expirience with sneaky stuff and the like from shooter servers. I just looked around in awe, not paying attention to the others.

Some buildings had different coloured writing or symbols, while others shone brightly in different colours. Some people sat inside of these and ate. Probably some kind of restaurant. Some servers have them, the closest we had was the "Mc'Puffy"'s. 

Suddenly we heard a sound, like that of the prison when some security stuff happens, in the distance.

"The fuck's that noise?", Sapnap asked unsettled. Were we caught sneaking in? "It comes from that.... thing?", Puffy pointed at mobs with blue lights on their head. The other weird mobs still moved on their circle shaped stuff, but more out of the way. A new type came into view. It was smaller in size and moved on two cylinders. An NPC sat on it and zoomed across with the mobs with blue light on their head close on their tail.

It was unsettling to walk in that place with no physical protection, other than reaction speed. I did have that, and there were 5 of us. Noone would dare attack us. The others looked ready to defend as well, since the noise was putting us on edge.

We may have forgotten, that we don't know jack shit about this place.

Suddenly very odd clothed people came and chased after the scene. I only caught a glimpse on them, but they wore some kind of full-body suit with weapons and flashy stuff on it.

Among the people that walked around, those stood out like a sore thumb.

Some weird clothing taste they have, if they have it at all.

"Is it over?", Punz asked, while looking around. "What the fuck just happened?", Puffy continued asking, with a good reason. I mean, what the fuck did just happen there? Some people not far from us began talking. I didn't understand anything. Now a native language as well, my luck that day was maxed out.

"The fuck are they saying?!", I cursed silently to my group. They all shrugged except one person. Man, he is truly amazing and just saved us a lot of trouble. I had no intentions to learn that language anytime soon.

"They said: Damn, another robbery? Lucky we have heroes, without 'Kigolia' and 'Bubble' and all the others we would be screwed." he imitated the man with a pumpkin for a head with a deeper voice. Then a higher pitched voice, that sounded terrible, but imitated the woman with pinkish yellow antlers on her head. "I know, right? Without heroes we wouldn't be able to live this peacefully." "Come on, let's do what we came here for", Phil stopped translating like the translator he was. These people then went into the restaurant next to them.

"Why the fuck do you know their language?", I asked immediately, after it seemed safe enough to speak. "Yeah!", Sapnap asked -wait no, sorry- 'demanded' as well. Puffy and Punz nodded eagerly.

Phil shook his head slowly and spoke, "I don't know, because their language sounds just way too similar to- what was it again?- I don't know, but some language I learned ages ago in someone's server from a guy with a cat-skin.", he explained. "Why they can speak languages from that persons linage is beyond me!", the blond held up his hands defensively. We just stared at him for a few seconds in silence. "But I might've gotten something wrong, because their pronunciations were different than the way I know it."

I gripped his left shoulder and stared him into his bright, blue eyes. "Phil,", I started not breaking eye contact. He just stared back unamused, since he knew what was coming. "Phil, and I truly mean this, you are amazing, so... would you be our translator for the rest of this mission?", I asked. The others began laughing. I couldn't hold it much longer and began laughing as well after breaking eye contact with Phil. He just gave me a 'seriously?' look and nodded. "Why couldn't this being in front of me just asked in a different way?", he asked who knows who while looking at the almost navy-blue sky, because he wasn't asking me, that's for sure.

We then walked on the street, chatting and observing the town, as we finally settled with calling this place that. We named it 'town 1'.

The information we got from our 'translator', was helpful. Apparently, there exist Hotels and the like, but we need 'yen' to afford one stay, which we didn't have, neither had a clue how to obtain. Maybe it was some other way of saying gold? We didn't know and just walked around and mapped the place out.

Suddenly a weird dude with a flashy halloween costume came by and just started talking to us. "Why are you people out so late with a kid?", he asked in english. More like interrogated, but I didn't pay attention to that neither to the fact I understood him. What I did pay attention to, was that he called me a kid and pointed a finger at me accusingly. While it has become routine and a classic, that I, Tommy fuckin' Innit, don't see myself as a child on stream, doesn't mean I like people saying that off-stream either.

"Excuse me, adult, but what business do you have with us?", I asked in a sassy tone. He called me a child, so he deserved it. The others just stared at the weird fella we encountered. He wore a black bodysuit with red and yellow decoration along with some really weirdchamp thick gloves and red googles with his black messy hair tied in some ponytail. Anyone with that fashion sense would be labeled as weird, no matter where. 

Phil held me back before I could make the situation escalate. He took over, "Sir, I'm sorry for him, we are new around these parts and wanted to look at this place at night, since the streets are less busy and the environment gives off an entirely different feeling. This blond fella here, is already an adult, even if he may not seem like it. So, I hope this clarifies, that we don't want trouble but just want to enjoy the peaceful night."

We all just stared at our saviour and quickly nodded. The stranger nodded in understanding and said with a cheerful tone, "I'm sorry to have bothered you. So the blond here is over eighteen already. My mistake. Just wanted to make sure you're not kidnapping him." He looked at me with serious eyes. "They aren't, right?" I cringed. I mean, I didn't even know this guy and he randomly asks us if I was being kidnapped.

"Dude, are you alright?", Puffy asked and looked at him with confusion. He just stared at me, like the cringe person he was. I answered him quickly before things got any weirder. "Excuse me, no? These are my friends, you know?" I still cringed and didn't even try to hide it from the stranger.

His expression changed "Alright, I'm sorry to have bothered you. I suppose you're on some vacation right now from work and ended up flying to our beautiful city.", he put his hand out. "I'm a local hero, heroname's Sines. If you encounter any trouble please rely on us!" he said with a smile. Phil shook his hand. "Well, nice to meet you hero Sines. We wish you a good night and will be on our way.", the bucket-hatted man said. The 'hero' then walked away after giving his last goodbye. We also walked away. 

Really fast.

After going in some secluded alleyway we finally stopped. "What the hell just happened there?!", Punz asked out of frustration. "And why did he do that?", Puffy continued and gripped her head. Sapnap also let his thoughts run wild. "That question. Like-- what the fuck?!" I just sat down on the floor and questioned the same thing. "Guys!", a voice tried getting our attention. We all looked up at Phil who stood there and walked over to me. He held his hand out and I could see the light radiating off of him. "I know you are confused, but we have to think about this differently. Let's come together and talk about this before we question life and the mission itself." 

A pause of silence. I took his hand and got up with a smile.

"Well, for the record. I already managed to do that.", Puffy bluntly said and stopped gripping her head.

Way to ruin the moment.

We double checked, just in case, if the weird fella still followed and began discussing.

YOOOOOO!! I did it!
Chapter 5 is finally finished. 

It has gotten too long, hasn't it? But hey! Now I can relax for a bit, because it's finished!

I did my best writing this and made some stupid moments I regret writing. Maybe not. It was fun anyway.

Now, I know, that this is supposed to be a timetravel, and We'll get to the good stuff eventionally. I do have a plot and everything, so don't think, that this is made randomly! (It kind of is)
