hi I'm Alex, the creator of this story. I ended up failing two subjects so I haven't been feeling the best. I know I haven't been alive for a while and it's been months since my last update, but honestly it's been hard. I don't have the time to write due to how little rest and breaks I've had. I'm going to continue my hiatus for my own physical and mental health. I'm very sorry everyone, but I just can't write with how tired I've been. Ren has trouble too, since they're also an irregular student thanks to their accident. I'll be back some day to update the story. Just... not for a long while... I'm sorry

"Seriously, my prince. We have got to stop meeting like this. At this point, Diland will think I'm the one hiding you" Kale said, amused. 

Kim Lee Hyu rolled his eyes at that, ignoring the stupid warmth that entered his heart. "As if I would go to you to hide from Diland" Kim Lee Hyu said a little sassily.

"The only reason you find me is because I know Diland avoids the garden since he doesn't want to accidentally kill another plant" Kim Lee Hyu added, which got an ugly snort out of Kale.

Even the fake Diland seems to be shit with plants, and hold genuine distress at the sight of them dead due to him simply holding the plant. Kim Lee Hyu would feel bad, if he wasn't so used to the sight of his da- Diland killing off plants. Still, it was smart of his torturer to chose a demon who was shit at gardening to act as Diland.

"Hey, he isn't that... bad(?) at gardening" Kale said, only to end up hesitating at the end. The green-eyed boy gave him a look, a look that spelled out 'absolute bullshit'. They both knew it was a lie, but Kale always had a soft spot for the shorter male. So he was more willing to be more forgiving to Diland, even when the gardener normally whined and complained whenever his crops would die because of Diland.

"Okay well he could be better, but at least he's trying!" Kale added.

"Yeah, trying to accidentally kill all the plants" Kim Lee Hyu deadpanned. The larger male could only sigh, unable to deny the reality. There was a brief silence before Kim Lee Hyu spoke again. 

"I didn't expect to be found by someone chasing a wolf pup with a shovel" he told in a mock serious voice. 

Trying his best to keep the small black pup from running out of his hold. While the white wolf pup had stopped prancing around and decided to sit on Kim Lee Hyu's already full lap.

Kale looked at the white pup, which was now playfully wagging its tail, before he let out an exasperated sigh. 

"Well it's not everyday a little troublemaker comes and steals my shovel only to lead me to a young prince" Kale shot back. He didn't bother to try to grab the shovel anymore but he was eyeing it.
