You could see Yuri from across the street, hood up, head down, focused on his phone, his blond hair swaying in the wind. You'd agreed to meet up after his training session and grab a bite to eat, you jumped up and down waving your arms around trying to grab his attention but Yuri didn't seem to notice and he looked rather sad.

As you went to cross the street the pedestrian light turned red, you quickly put yourself back on the pavement, eyes still locked on Yuri. An idea struck you as the cars that passed by cut up your view of your boyfriend, you pulled a goofy face at Yuri hoping he would look up and notice and changed your face when another car zoomed past, you kept that rhythm going changing your face every time a vehicle passed you.

Just when you were about to give up was when Yuri looked up, first scanning the other side of the street in an attempt to find you and then settling on you when he saw you standing across from him, a car passed by and you pulled another face tongue stuck out and eyes crossed.

Yuri furrowed his brows in a confused smile before laughing loudly, the pedestrian light turned green and crossed over quickly, jumping to wrap him in a tight hug. He slung his arms around your waist lazily giving you a kiss on the cheek.

"How was your day?" You asked, smiling.

"Boring, but somehow you seem to make it better," He chuckled ruffling your hair,

"Dork."

You laced your fingers with his and pulled him down the street, happy to be spending time with him.
