We sat at the breakfast table, my snug Italian suit feeling like a second skin. Everyone was saying how great it looked, even Ge didn't have any complaints when I stepped into the hallway this morning.
"Well, don't you just look.... Remarkable!" He set his brief case down at his feet and then adjusted my tie a little and ran a hand through my quiffed hair. We set off down the huge staircase. Ge was making me weeze with laughter as he told me something about the spell caster and a droopy wand curse someone set off a couple of months ago. When I looked up I was greeted with Glenda, I laid my hand on the banister between us and happened to place it right on top of hers,
"Wow, Nico remind me to invite you to the Crystal Ball this year, you scrub up nice!" She ran a soothing hand down my sleeve,
"Come on, we're heading to breakfast!" I grabbed her hand and ran, causing her to stumble down behind me. All I could see as I looked back was Geoffrey's jealous eyes boring into us.
"WAS THAT REALLY NECESSARY?" Glen pouted and I grinned
"Yep!" I one swift movement I grabbed her and heaved her onto my back and gripped her legs around my waist "just as necessary as this!"
"NICO!" She yelled, laughing slighting "put me down!" She laughed, as I dipped and spun.
"Not likely" she collapse in a fit of laugher into my back and let her hands dangle casually around my shoulders and down my neck.
I galloped up the corridor as she literally cried with laughter. Every now and then I'd swing around and watch Ge follow us up, arms crossed and grumpy puppy face on, and I'd call back
"Oh come on, sweetie! You'll be late for breakfast!

When we arrived at the door to the hall, Ge caught up with us still looking very jealous and grumpy.
"Oh come one grumpy pants! I'm just having a little fun!" And I leaned in and kissed him, but before we could really kiss Glen waved a hand between us, yelling
"Ewww! They're kissing!" before collapsing in a fit of giggles again. As we walked in, arm in arm with Glen, and holding hands with Ge. Peoples heads shot straight to us and then whipped back to gossip with their friends. They whispered while I walked Glen to her table and then made my way back to sit with Ge. I didn't get why but I'd obviously done something scandalous, I just couldn't think what. Sure, my friendship with Glen was pretty close but that's all it was, she was obviously very, very beautiful but I am also very, very gay. I kept giving Ge little pecks on the cheek and his nose and forehead,
"Come on jelly bean( Ge-lly bean) , I was just playing. I love Glen as a best friend, but you're my only boyfriend!" I said shuffling his neck.
"I know." His voice was monotone and bored.
"Come on babe, I loooove you!" I whined and Ge looked at me exhaled, grabbing my cheeks and looking dead straight into my eyes
"How am I going to tame you? God, I love you too you scary big teddy bear!" I kissed him quickly and then leaped up,
"We have to go" he smiled, biting into his buttered brown toast,
"Okay, okay!" He said following me out, toast still in hand. He slopped his free hand round my shoulders, and we left the hall.

Just to confirm with anyone who think that there's something going on with Glen and Nico, this chapter is for you!
