I woke up in the hospital. There was internal hospital at Morrowgan they explained to me that they had too many unexplained accidents that they would rather handel on their own. Anna was fine after the spell caster and environmental captain had healed her up. They had done the same to me, Anna and I had apparently put all our power into the collision and therefore created a force that blew us apart. My rib had been broken and then punctured my lung. It as my blood that had been on Anna's wings, the effort level had given me a nose bleed.
"Nico? You up?" Anna croaked from the bed across from mine
"Yeah," I croaked back and we both laughed
"8 in athletics my ass!" She coughed and then continued "it would be an honour to call you deputy if you joined the Athletes!" She winked at me and was lost for words
"Your deputy? Really?" I asked in disbelieve
"Hey, anyone who puts that much power into a match has my instant respect! And Nico, you matched my strength out there, you were amazing!
"It was really noth-"
"YOU TWO SHOULD BE RESTING!" Glen marched in, pretending to be the scary nurse
"Gods Glen! You have me a heart attack!" The girls laughed
"So, you two been playing rough?" Glen walked over to me, kissing my head then ruffling my inky hair
"Are you two... Together?" Anna asked us, sitting up slowly, her wings rustling to get comfortable
"No, I'm gay." I said, then Glen smiled at me, as though she'd known me all her life
"Yes!" Anna explained "Henry owes me £5!" We all laughed until the actual scary nurse came in and yelled at Glen for keeping us awake.
