also heres a little explanation for the whole execution thing

the town has a sort of 'three strikes youre out' system going on

the first time you break a law, theyll just give you a slap on the wrist and let you go

the second time, youll get about a week or so in jail time

the third time, youll get about a year or two in jail time

if you break another law ten more times after that, they wont know what to do with you and will see you as a sort of 'waste of space and time' (lol same tho) and shun you

you have one more time after that and then youre executed

faven has already broken the law more that twenty or so times (he didnt get caught most of the time after his third punishment) so thats why hes being executed

the worst possible crime you could commit in this town is stealing a fucking chicken leg lmao
