Another day of hell began. Seungmin dragged his feet on the path to school, his mind almost as spiritless as the empty morning sky. Ever since waking up, he had been eagerly waiting to hear his phone notify him, but his screen never lit up. Why isn't he texting me?

Seungmin couldn't stand it anymore, so he unlocked his phone and dialed the number that was stuck in his head.

After a few rings, the call was declined. Seungmin sighed in relief, at least his friend was alive to end the call, right? A couple of minutes later, he received a message.

"OH. MY. GOD!!!"

Seungmin's mini session of smiling at his phone was rudely interrupted when he heard none other than both his best friends scream in unison, he looked up at them annoyed as he reached the school gates. Please tell me they didn't see that-

"YOU'RE FALLING FOR THE SAM GUY YOU'VE NEVER SEEN!!" Jisung screeched, gasping dramatically while Felix chuckled breathlessly. Yikes.

"You gotta see your face now Seungminnie," Felix said between his laughter, pointing to the said boy who's cheeks were dusted with a bright blush, "you look like a cherry!"

"Shut up Felix, you look worse when that short trash bin guy passes by." Seungmin retorted, earning a glare from Felix.

"But really, Sam is an uncommon name. I wonder what he looks like." Jisung said, running his fingers through his long brown locks.

"I bet 30 bucks he's hot-" Felix stopped abruptly before biting his lips nervously, causing both Seungmin and Jisung to shoot a suspicious look his way.

"You can't assume that, but okay." Seungmin sighed, leading the way to their lockers.

"Tho do you bet he's hotter than the hottest guy, Hwang Hyunjin?" Jisung blurted out, and in turn got a smack to his head by Seungmin.

"What if he's just as hot as Hyun-"

"Don't bring up that fuckboy's name or I'll bitch slap both of you." Seungmin rolled his eyes, interrupting Felix midway. Who cares about Hyunjin? Not me.

"I was about to say Hyuna! The artist, yknow? But bro you're inside the school now so don't swear, hypocrite." Felix said with a fake gasp, while Jisung muttered something along 'Seungmean in the school building'.

"but I just realised, today is the oldest day you've been but the youngest you'll ever be.."

"Felix please," Seungmin groaned in sync with Jisung, "don't eat our brain cells so early in the morning."

The trio continued on their way to first period, laughing at Felix's absurd thoughts.
